Wouldn't Recommend

Say "Orders shipped to the UK from their Irish facility do not incur import tax for the customer, as they have a UK-based entity"

So tell me why did I get messages off DPD Ireland telling me I had to pay an extra £51 in import charges, this is after having to wait 2 weeks for it to be dispatched as they didn't have it in stock even though the website still let me purchase it, refused to pay import charges and will be cancelling the order. (MAKE IT MORE CLEAR OF THERE WILL BE EXTRA CHARGES)

Had real trouble

Had real trouble. First order had a faulty Felco loppers. Worth 200 euros. It was cheaper than other sites but the housing was broken and fell apart during use. Diarmuid promised a replacement but it never arrived. After months waiting. Really disappointed with the product and service. Have to buy another one somewhere else. AVOID!

Deluxe Raised Bed Posts

During 2013, I ordered 10 deluxe raised beds, with 35cm x 10cm x10 cm posts.
During the past 6 years, the posts have been filled, sanded and stained several times, along with the beds.
Although the beds are relatively in good condition due to the regular maintenance, most of the 30 posts have deteriorated beyond further repair.
Around the end of the November, I decided to bite the bullet and order 30 new corner posts, initially I went on-line to the UK Centre, but they only had 27 items in stocks, I therefore ordered from the ROI instead, in addition, it was slightly cheaper due to Euros pricing.
Expected delivery was 24 to 48 hours, after a week, I sent an email to Diarmuid for an update, who replied back quickly, stating, the full order could not be met due to current availability.
When the order arrived during the expected time, I was surprised and irritated to find out only 28 items were delivered, and 16 were damaged in various forms, that is small cracks to severe splits and breakage.
After registering a complaint and threatening to cancel my order, I was called directly by Niall, who confirmed, 20 new items would be sent by the end of this week, with no requirement to return the damaged items.
When I opened the 2 boxes earlier today, I noticed 10 were seriously damaged and others were soaking wet, which obviously have to be thoroughly dried out before staining.
I have bought numerous goods on-line and over the phone over many years, but never experienced anything like this, the words surprising, disappointing and irritating are not enough.
This is a typical case of Buyer Beware!

Good afternoon Mario
We no longer use Trustpilot so apologies for the delay in responding to this. We have consistently supplied the same posts over the years for the Deluxe range. To be honest having looked at the photos that you sent to us with the suggested damages there were only were only 3 that we felt needed replacing. These posts are for outside use and as a result are rough planned. 3 had splits and shouldn't have been sent but i authorised that all of the requested replacements be sent. I am sorry that you feel the quality was not up to what it should be however i inspected all of the 2nd batch that went to you and i am more than surprised that you didn't feel they were up to the job as they are the same as the Deluxe posts we have always supplied. The fact they were wet was down to the pressure treatment that we put them through and this is to give them longevity. There is no need to further treat them once you have them as they are treated to handle our wet climate.
I am sorry that you have felt let down by Quickcrop and this is not how we like to leave things but i am confident that the products supplied are as advertised and encourage you to use them as you did before and i am more than confident that you will once again get 12/14 years out of them which is the time we suggest they will last

Regards
Niall

Poor service and misleading information

I ordered some bamboo hoops from the uk branch of Quickcrop and have had almost a week of delays.I finally got an email confirming the items have been posted to me and can be tracked. The links provided for the Quickcrop site show there is no record of this item and so I went to the website of the delivery service and found they have no tracking information so far. It was at this point I realised my bamboo hoops were being sent via the Republic of Ireland via the postal service AnPost. This is bound to take more than 1-2 days. From the website it appeared the company has its offices in Bristol and the return address is in North Shields so why is my order coming from the Republic of Ireland? I am based in England and had ordered from the uk website not the ie website. Given I had to repeatedly phone your office and email you for an update I am unable to give you any more than a 1 star rating for all the reasons above.

Firstly let me apologise for the delay in responding to your Review. We no longer use Trustpilot for Reviews so your Review hadn't come to us directly.

On occasion if we get caught on an item in our Bristol warehouse we will dispatch from our Irish warehouse. You should have been informed of this so my sincere apologies for this. We do state this in our Delivery details but it is easily missed. I have checked your order and it shows that you did indeed receive all of your order and i trust everything worked out fine for you. This is not to make light of the delay in getting your order to you and please accept my this. If you are ordering again please email us at support@quickcrop.com and i will arrange a discount on your next order.

Kindest Regards

Growing superb plants

I have been using their powdered seaweed feed on my allotment beds for a couple of years now.
Smells nice like a day at the seaside, just sprinkle a handful across a square metre of planted to boost growth or preferably unplanted bed prior to planting. The veg plants are lush and strong, taller and heavier crops.
Never be without it now

Good experience throughout

Had a hard-to-find pot lifter in stock, ordered that, plus an impulse buy on seeds. Items arrived fast, well packaged, heavy lemon tree moved to its summer home with no hassle at all, many thanks!

Delivery was a joke original day of delivery missed, they blamed couriers, couriers blamed quickpond.

I ordered a 6x6ft pond I can't say it's the best quality pretty poor build lots of cracked wood and delivery damage, i cant see it lasting that long but it was the cheapest I could find, you get what you pay for!

I won't be using them again nor would I recommend this company

I am so sorry that you had such a poor experience with us and your Pond. We sell hundreds of Ponds each year and have very few issues. The Quality of our Ponds is normally what we get great feedback on. I can see that we sent out replacement parts and part refunded your order but this does not excuse the above issue. My sincere apologies for this poor service

Good experience

I'd give this 4.5 but not an option.
Overall happy with the experience and quick delivery of some digging tools that I struggled to find elsewhere. A problem emerged which was resolved quickly by the store but I wonder if it could have been avoided with an update to me about the stock situation before dispatching the order.

Of the two items I ordered one arrived slightly damaged and also turned out was not the thing I had selected on the website.
I immediately reported the damage and was offered a discount or replacement.
It took a few emails back and forth mainly because I had to make a decision whether to receive a replacement item for something different to what I had originally wanted.
In the end I decided to accept a replacement at no extra cost to myself and was able to get on with using the digging tools at allotment.
The problem was resolved fairly quickly and to my ultimate satisfaction. Thank you

Order missing items

Edit: Quickcrop solved this issue and got my full order to me.

Ordered the vitopod with lights and support brackets along with two hight extenders for it.

Noticed that one of the panels on the height extenders had a slight crack in it but that wasn't the biggest problem.

The vitopod arrived with no lights or support bracket!

Obviously this is not how your Vitopod should have arrived. I am glad Megan and the support team were able to sort this out for you and really appreciate your patience on this. Most importantly it is great that you are now up and running. If you need anything else or need the height extender replaced just get in touch and thanks for the feedback

Arrived in a very speedy turn around, package securely, with everything necessary to put them together. This fertiliser was recommended to me by a friend and I have to say I'm very pleased. The product was easy to use and in only a short time I can see my plants thriving.

Excellent response to mistake

Ordered a garden hoe and received some kind of rake! But we can all make mistakes - what mattered was the swift response to my email and a promise to send a replacement hoe immediately.

Ordered four large raised allotment beds, and this is where the issues began.
Told on 20th the four planters were on the way, 28th chased once more to be told DPD had returned the beds, again advised these were resent, with a tracking order however in the 4/3/24 according to tracking still sat in Ireland, yet further lame excuses about DPD today, it will be another week apparently Quick Crop this isn't my problem use another service, if not here by Wednesday 6/3/24 order cancelled, absolute joke of a service!

I ordered seeds and would not recommend this to others

The order arrived quickly in a few days.
I ordered seeds and would not recommend this to others. It does not seem that they care much about that "department".
Seed quality depends a lot on the age of the seeds:
1) The Claytonia seeds received today are about to expire this month.
And you want to be SURE to get the seed variety you ordered:
2) Inside the pack of Turnip "Tokyo Cross" there was a bag of Turnip "Snowball".

Background:
All seeds come in small plastic grip seal bags. Then, depending on seed type, there are loose seeds inside (e.g. Radish). Or there is another vacuum sealed bag inside with the name of the seeds printed on it.
It seems they are filling those themselves - and get it sometimes wrong?
