So quick and easy!

this was such an easy process! I made my QR code in just a few mins and it was free. Thank you so much!

I used QR Code Creator for a project in 2025. After discovering the ongoing cost to keep my QR code active, I contacted the company and explained that I was no longer interested in using their services.

As someone who has worked in customer support, I would have expected that statement to prompt a conversation about cancelling my subscription or, at the very least, a response explaining that my subscription would continue to renew unless I took additional action. Instead, I received no guidance on cancelling my subscription, no indication that it would continue renewing, and no follow-up to clarify my options.

Nearly a year later, my subscription renewed. As soon as I became aware of the charge, I immediately contacted QR Code Creator requesting cancellation and a refund. Their responses have focused solely on the fact that the cancellation was processed after the renewal occurred. They have not meaningfully addressed my earlier communication from 2025 in which I clearly stated that I was no longer interested in continuing to use their service.

I also requested that my concerns be escalated to a supervisor or manager. To date, those requests have not been acknowledged, and I have continued receiving responses from support representatives that largely repeat the same explanation rather than addressing the concerns I have raised.

The company has confirmed that my subscription is now cancelled and that there will be no further renewals after the current billing period ends in 2027. However, that does not resolve my concern that I communicated my intention to stop using their services in 2025 and was never given any assistance or clarification regarding the steps required to prevent future renewals.

This review reflects my personal experience. If you choose to use this service, I strongly recommend keeping copies of all correspondence, confirming any cancellation requests in writing, and obtaining written confirmation that your subscription has actually been cancelled rather than assuming your concerns have been addressed.

I have since disputed the renewal charge with my financial institution after being unable to resolve the matter directly with the company.

Update 7/21/2026:

Despite requesting escalation to a manager or supervisor, I have yet to receive any contact beyond repeated responses from support. I clearly communicated in 2025 that I was no longer interested in doing business with QR Code Creator. At no point was I advised how to cancel my subscription or informed that it would continue renewing unless I took further action. Instead of addressing that communication, the company continues to rely solely on the fact that my cancellation occurred after the renewal, without acknowledging the customer service failures that led to that outcome. Consumers should ensure they receive written confirmation that their subscription has been cancelled and not assume that expressing an intent to discontinue the service is sufficient.

Update 7/24/2026:

The company has now responded multiple times, but continues to focus solely on the fact that I did not use the specific word "cancel" in my 2025 email.

Yet, in their latest response, they stated that "no active annual subscription existed at that stage" and therefore there would have been nothing to cancel. Ironically, that only reinforces my concern. If no active annual subscription existed at the time I told them I was "no longer interested in utilizing your company's services," why didn't their support agent explain what would happen next?

At no point was I advised that my account would transition into a recurring subscription, that future renewals would occur unless I cancelled, or that I needed to take any further action to avoid future charges. I wasn't asked whether I wanted to cancel my account, nor was I directed to the appropriate cancellation process.

A reasonable customer service interaction would have included that information. Instead, I was left believing I had clearly communicated my intention to discontinue my relationship with the company.

This is why my concern extends beyond the refund itself. It is about the quality of customer support and the failure to provide information that could have prevented this entire situation. Unfortunately, every response I've received has simply repeated the company's refund policy rather than addressing that concern.

Also, after multiple requests, I still have yet to be contacted by a supervisor or manager.

easy to do and worked well and was totally FREE as advertised. Lots of companies advertise free but you have to enter a credit card number in and your FREE version actually becomes a monthly subscription if you don't cancel which is a bit deceiving in my mind

This company is horrible and you cant get a hold of anyone to help. The Contact us option does not allow you to type. You have to choose statements that have nothing to do with your problem. Subscription is too complicated to cancel and it disables the code from working after to drop subscription. The QR code is for a fundraiser to help and elderly lady in our neighborhood. I really messed up trusting these thieves.

I had no idea that creating a QR code could be this quick and for free. The steps were easy to follow and I managed to download my code within 5 minutes in various formats. Thank you
