Amazingly user friendly! I’m used to creating QR codes and bitly links. This was by far the most simplistic! I’ll continue using this moving forward. Highly recommend for a seamless process!!

This business is run like a SCAM.

This business is run like a SCAM.
1. QR codes are initially promoted as free, no 7-Day trial is mentioned.
2. Once you have created a code & distributed or printed it, you are then informed you have to pay as it was only free for 7 days.
3. It appears that you can pay a monthly fee, so the price appears reasonable. However, you are then charged the full annual fee without warning, as there is NO monthly option.
4. A year later, your unwanted subscription will be renewed.
5. If you're lucky enough to learn this beforehand, you can jump through all the hoops required to cancel it.
I suggest also contacting your bank, I wouldn't be surprised if the renewal continued despite cancellation.

The one redeeming factor, they send an email informing the renewal will occur. Outlook quarantined my email (not surprising!), luckily I found it before renewal date.

Constructive feedback for the business: rather than writing a meaningless reply to this review, please adjust your business practises.
Make it clear that free trial is for 7 days.
Make it clear that subscription is annual not monthly.

Dear customer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

From your description, it appears that you signed up for our 7 day free trial, which allows users to explore all premium features of QR Code Creator before committing to a subscription.

After the trial period ends, static QR codes remain active and continue working without interruption. Dynamic QR codes, including features such as editing, tracking and analytics, require an active subscription and are paused if no paid plan is selected.

We always send out a reminder email 30 days before your subscription’s renewal date, which means you have at least 30 days to cancel your subscription if you do not want it to renew. If we don’t receive a cancellation request (via support or your dashboard) at least one day prior to the renewal date, your plan will renew automatically. That said, we truly appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind.

Please note that this process is described in our terms and conditions, which all customers agree to during sign‑up.

Our platform currently operates on an annual subscription model. All pricing and plan details are also outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

For a more detailed review of your case, we kindly invite you to contact our support team at support@qrcodecreator.com using the email associated with your account. We’ll be happy to look into it further.

Best regards,

Kind of a scam

Kind of a scam. You can generate a QR code for free almost anywhere, so there’s no reason to pay $11 per month just to keep a QR code working. I only found out about the subscription after creating the code and ordering printed materials. Very disappointing and misleading.

Dear customer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. From what you’ve described, it appears you signed up for our 7‑day free trial, which allows you to explore all the premium features of QR Code Creator for a week.

There’s no obligation to move to a paid plan once the trial ends. Your static QR Codes will remain active, while any dynamic QR Codes created during the trial will simply be paused. If you choose to upgrade to a plan later, those dynamic QR Codes will be reactivated. We also offer a free plan that includes up to 10 static QR Codes and 1 dynamic QR Code.

Our platform currently operates exclusively on an annual subscription model. All pricing and plan details are outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

If you’d like assistance or guidance in choosing a plan to reactivate your Dynamic QR Codes, please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’d be happy to help.

Best regards,

Cancellation Requested, Yet Renewed and Refused a Refund

I used QR Code Creator for a project last year and later decided I no longer needed the service. I contacted the company to advise that I was no longer interested in continuing and sought assistance with cancelling my subscription. Based on those communications, I believed my subscription had been addressed.

Nearly a year later, I was surprised to discover that my subscription had renewed and my card had been charged again. I contacted the company the very same day the renewal was processed, explained that I had previously requested cancellation, and asked for both a cancellation and a refund.

Unfortunately, my request has yet to be handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

What concerns me most is not simply the charge itself, but the lack of support when a customer has clearly communicated they no longer wish to use the service. In my experience, there was no effort to review the previous correspondence or consider the circumstances surrounding my earlier cancellation request.

If you're considering using this service (which I don't recommend), I would strongly recommend keeping copies of every communication, confirming your cancellation in writing, and regularly checking your payment statements for recurring charges.

This review reflects my personal experience with QR Code Creator. I hope the company will review its cancellation process and provide greater flexibility when customers make genuine efforts to cancel before an unwanted renewal occurs.

*** Update: I've since waited their required '3 days' for them to 'investigate' a refund for me, only to have them send me back another form letter with the exact same information from 3 days prior, only to tell me that it's being investigated and I need to wait another 3 days for a response.

It sounds like I'm getting the run around and they're avoiding providing actual customer service.

*** Update: They claim 'we reached out and requested additional information that would help us locate and review the earlier communication.'

I have not received any request for additional information to review earlier communication from any of their support staff. I have ONLY received form letters informing me that it was renewed.

Dated July 7th, 2025, I had indicated to them, "I'm not interested in utilizing your company's services." I received a form letter response at that point with no assistance to cancel and ensure that no further renewals were processed.

***Update: Imagine sending a response two days ago on The 14th of July, after the form letter asking for a manager or supervisor to touch base with only to still not receive a single response.
