Customer service without service....
PureGym Danmark falls short of expectations, providing a subpar fitness experience coupled with disappointing customer service. My experience as a member over the past couple of months has been fraught with challenges and frustrations even though if been a member for a decade....
The customer service experience is perhaps the most disappointing aspect of PureGym Danmark. The staff exhibits a lack of responsiveness and professionalism, with member concerns often going unaddressed. Communication regarding membership changes or issues is inadequate, leaving members feeling uninformed and frustrated.
In summary, PureGym Danmark falls short in delivering a satisfactory fitness experience and fails to meet the basic expectations of its members. The combination of facility issues and subpar customer service warrants serious consideration before choosing this gym as your fitness destination.

- On an easy location to go by public transportation (You can catch 14, 114 and 3A).
- If you have a car, lots of place to park it in the area.
- More than enough machines and equipment, even for the rush hours.
- You can always see someone do cleaning at any time with a Ghostbusters-like vacuum cleaner.
- Helpful staff.
- The perfume in the men's locker room smells so bad, I guess the employee chose it do not have a nose.
- And I'm still not used to the nudity in Denmark.
Edit after 2 days: Today the smell was mostly gone, and I found an e-mail about the situtation in my inbox. Well, that's how it's done.

Nice gym, annoying booking system, great PT
Nice gym with lots of machines.
-1 point due to the lack of classes and booking system: everything is fully booked at least 2 weeks in advance, so one ends up in waiting list nr 30, but on the day everyone is cancelling so you get in last minute anyways even though seems highly unlikely before.
+5 points for Malte, personal trainer, who helped me tackle my gym anxiety and pushed me to the limited all with keeping a good spirit during the sessions 💪🏼

Not enough fitness classes, old machines
I think some of the centers need newer machines, especially now that some of the machines are removed and there are less treadmills which often 1 or 2 is out of function. The centers changing rooms are cold. The price is only increasing and there are not enough classes afternoon in Fredericia centers, mostly biking.

The gym is good, but could be improved further.
The gym has a lot of potential, but we have some problems such as: dirty bathrooms and lockers, broken equipment and some very old equipment, but I hope you can change the equipment in the gym here in Hillerød for more modern equipment, just like you have done in many other gyms.

The name change is not a result of a change in ownership of our gyms. The Fitness World brand was owned by PureGym as well, only it was changed to offer a better and more cohesive experience for our members - and I'm sad to read that you haven't experienced this.
We're in the process of upgrading our gyms, both in terms of how they look, but also in terms of the equipment we offer. Numerous gyms have already been upgraded, but please don't hesitate to contact the staff at your gym as we'd love to hear your feedback on where we can improve.

Concerns Over Advertising Content at Pure Gym
I've been a member of Pure Gym since it was Fitness World and appreciate their facilities and services.
However, I feel compelled to raise a serious concern regarding some of their in-gym advertising specifically since the name has changed.
I've noticed a recurring theme in one of their TV ads, which portrays a man of color in a negative light, depicting him as unclean and messy in the gym environment.
This kind of stereotyping is not only offensive but also promotes racial biases, which is unacceptable. It's disappointing to see such content in a place that should promote inclusivity and respect among all members. I hope Pure Gym reevaluates their advertising to ensure it aligns with values of diversity and equality.

We are sorry to hear that our video has given you and perhaps others negative associations. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
It is important to emphasize that it was never our intention for the video to have any kind of racial connotation. The video is part of a series of small videos about small offences, which we unfortunately find that all sorts of members do, and which can be a nuisance to other members - the videos are meant as a fun take on our 'house rules'. The video you describe is about members not wiping down their machine after use, and it just so happens that the actor is a person of color, while the actor running on the treadmill with dirty shoes is not. The people in the videos were all employees at the time and regularly participated in different videos in different roles.
We have perceived the videos as harmless in terms of content. But once again I want to thank you for your feedback, which we take seriously and will take into account in future productions.

Some of our gyms used to be open 24/7, but unfortunately it's not possible anymore if we want to keep the same standard of cleaning etc.
Our prices do reflect the costs to keep the gyms up and running, as it has become more expensive to run gyms in general.

no maintenance in general
Machine is not checking regularly and really bad maintenance in general.
Try to inform them but they don't take it into serious. I think the problem is the concept of the management as well as very old machine there.
also pretty dirty & disorganize.
