This company advertises a $1.00 property report.It does not conspicuously disclose--as required by federal law--that if you enter your credit card details you will be charged a $20 / month subscription fee in addition to that. I can see from the complaints this is a common problem. Clear disclosure would fix this but they obviously make more money via deception. When contacted, the company "closed" my account and said it issued a $20 refund (with a confirmation number). Nearly two months later, still no refund. I've contacted them several times. First, they said "due to a technical issue, the refund was not initiated." Then, that my refund couldn't be processed to my credit card so they needed my mailing address and would send a check. Then, oops, now they've "escalated" the issue to their finance department. This is known in the fraud world as lulling behavior, it's NOT the behavior of a reputable company. Too bad the FTC and CFPB are no longer protecting consumers.

I did not realize they would charge me for a subscription I did not want! I have tried to get my money back and they have been lying to me about my refund. I have tried for ALMOST A MONTH to get my money back.
Always an excuse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. All I wanted was a current owner and sale price of the house. I received 15 pages of non essential information. I knew more about the house than they did! Their information was useless to me. They keep giving me the runaround about my refund. Stay far away for this company!

I didnt need my account any longer and their customer service was very fast in removing my subscription.

Great experience and easy to navigate the website. The chatting feature is a nice touch - if you don't like talking/speaking on the telephone.

They give a very detailed process before you start, as to how to generate and access the report. In no place does this process include:
1. That they is a fee for the report
2. That this is not for consumers, it's for professionals only.
I didn't know if they would give me the report on the property I own, so after 5 minutes of report generation and agreeing to the terms, I abandoned my report.

Russel solved my problem quickly and to my satisfaction. I was under the impression that cost would be $1.00. All I wanted was a copy of the card that I get every year showing my homestead exemption.

I signed up for a report for which I was supposed to pay $1. I was charged $27.00. I spoke to a customer service rep once and used the online chat twice. Each time I was promised a refund and given a confirmation number. It's been more than two months and I am still waiting.

I had a concern about my subscription and the customer service was one of the best experiences I ever had. My initial property record request was also handled very quickly and efficiently and I immediately got what I needed. I highly recommend this company.

When you order records from this company, it is NOT a one-time charge. (read the other reviews here, others were surprised as well) That $20 record turns into several $100 if you don't pay attention. They continue to hit you for $20 periodically and if you aren't paying attention, it adds up. I found out today they were charging me on a continuing basis. They cancelled my account immediately upon request.

Buyer beware! I used this site for information on one property we own. I canceled and thought I was done. A year later, they reactivated and sent a report on my primary residence. I didn't even see the email they sent. Unfortunately, I used my work credit card and my office person did not notice I was getting charged $20 every two weeks for months! When I found out, I was able to cancel the service.

very fast and efficient.. no hassle or drawn out process.

It was a little unclear what I was paying for when I signed up. However the customer support was excellent and I was able to close out my account after I was done getting the information that I needed.
