I had a disappointing experience with N. Pronk & Zn. Beheer BV after renting a property from November 2022 to November 2024 in Amsterdam. They unjustifiably withheld significant amounts from my deposit for alleged damages and cleaning, many of which fell under normal wear and tear as per Dutch law. Additionally, they added unexpected “extra costs” without providing clear explanations or evidence and delayed the refund process. Communication was slow and unprofessional, making it feel like they were trying to retain as much of the deposit as possible. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, as dealing with them required constant effort to defend my rights and resolve issues.

SCAMMERS. Will never respond to requests for assistance or maintenance but will jump at any opportunity to steal your money.

Having bought property in 2013 in Amsterdam pronk are technically responsible for a lot in our building and have been consistently negligent, rude absolutely unacceptable in the case of the management duties. In particular my personal experience with Allard and his sibling Norbert has been almost triggering. They talk down to me in emails as a female and refuse to acknowledge any emails in English or provide us a phone number to contact someone in times of emergency. It's really one of the worst companies that i have ever had to deal with in the Netherlands.
