I took delivery of my CenturaHeat 3 Person Outdoor Steam Sauna on Friday. It came very well packaged on a huge pallet, however China must be running low on their reserves of polystyrene and cardboards after this. It took 2 van loads to dispose of the packaging!😂😂😂.

I built the units on Saturday, and it mostly went well, despite the instructions being very basic and not very intuitive or detailed. Fortunately, as an engineer, I was able to put it together fairly easy. I did have a couple of issues with the product quality and have noted these below:

• Some of the timber supports for the heater guard / stand were broken, however I was able to glue them and supplement with some additional spruce timber supports to strengthen them.
• The screws are soft material and do not fit well with UK standard Philips screw drivers and are liable to the heads stripping.
• There would appear to be extra components of timber that do not appear to have any use and are not shown on the instructions. There also appears to be an extra top bench within the package, but no worries, it gives me a spare 😊
• The fixings for the external light were loose and I did drop the outside light due to the cable not being fixed and pulling right out when trying to tighten the fixings. The broken parts are some of the metal stays that hold in the glass, however nothing that cant be fixed with a little silicon!

I then wired and connected the sauna on Sunday and it didn’t work / turn on. Being a qualified electrician and electrical engineer, I carried out some fault finding and found that power was getting to the unit and determined that the problem was most likely coming from the control panel and suspected that the RJ45 plug may be disconnected from the control panel. It took me a while to determine how this could be removed to check and finally discovered that you had to remove the front of the control panel which was a sticky label to access the screws to remove. Once removed, my suspicions were correct, the RJ45 plug had not been connected. Once I connected and re-assembled and powered on, everything worked fine.

In summation, I would strongly suggest that Proline Direct has a word with their supplier / manufacturer about quality control. If it wasn’t for my electrical and engineering background, I would have had to refer to them to resolve the broken and faulty sauna, which would not only had caused both myself and the company numerous calls and frustration to resolve, but would likely have cost Proline Direct money.

I had my first use of the Sauna last night and it worked perfectly! 😊

In the main I am happy with the service Pro-line Direct provided and happy with the product despite the poor instructions, broken parts and fault.

I would suggest that if anyone considering this sauna and don't have the skills to put it together as I have to consider purchasing Pro-line Directs installation service.

Product is great , customer service and delivery service is dreadful

Bought a CenturaHeat Sauna, with the assembly service. It looked fine but when I turned the sauna on the heat meant that the glue for the door seal has started to warp and peel away in about 6/7 places. Also one of the doors was fitted wonky with a big gap at the top which let a lot of hot air out. I told them about this and they came round to fix it. But the first time i turned the sauna on again exactly the same problem with the seal peeling away and now I am getting no response from the customer service team for over 2 weeks. The sauna seems to be pretty good value but for £500, the sauna assembly service is not worth it given some very simple things have been messed up and now I can't even get a response from them...

Yesterday, I took delivery of my new oil tank, and the delivery contractor's driver, Chris, made the whole tank replacement process incredibly easy.
His whole presentation and manner were for me the icing on the cake for the entire experience.
The whole experience has been brought about by excellent teamwork and understanding the ethos of Customer Service Excellence.

Ordered a 2 person outdoor sauna over the phone as I had some questions. The sales staff were helpful and knowledgeable, and gave accurate information about the delivery time. Paid for professional installation, which was well worth it and the installation team were polite, friendly and efficient. A bit more communication once the sauna arrived in stock would have been nice (the sales guy called several times but never left a message), but overall very happy with the service and would deal with this company again.

My 3person outdoor sauna arrived on schedule.
Very well packaged so no damages in transit.
Quality of the unit is excellent and assembly was made easy by the standard of the workmanship of the panels.
Now enjoying the sauna experience.
I would recommend the product and the company to anyone considering a sauna.

No instructions you have to download from website, NEED an ELECTRICIAN So this is the reality! Obviously this sauna is bought from China, I’ll wait to be corrected, the guys I bought it from are nice and polite, reality is, if bits are missing your going to have to wait for the next shipment to arrive which could be months, strap in and hope you get all your parts, bits etc. put your big boy pants on and get a spark when put together and you’ll need a healthy two/3 people to build it

I ordered a sauna and paid for it in mid august 2024, the information on screen told me to expect delivery in late September/ early October. I waited and I waited, heard absolutely nothing from the company, so tried phoning a couple of times, left messages, started to think I’d been scammed, then finally spoke to someone who told me that they were having import problems and that it would be delivered in November…. It was finally delivered at the beginning of December by a man who simply wanted to dump all of the self build packs in the road, we eventually persuaded him to help us move it to the side of the house as it was incredibly heavy. At that stage we realised that installation was not going to be straightforward and we’d need an electrician, so we phoned Proline and they said “we have an installation service”, great we thought, paid for the service assuming that we would then be able to use the sauna; but no they don’t do electrics! We finally got an electrician to come last week (early January 2025) to set it all up. It’s now great and it’s of real benefit to some health issues I have right now, but I really could have done without the delays, lack of communication, and the “stonewall” which accompanied the whole process and made it very stressful!
