The Installation was completed in about 5 hours the installers were very helpful polite and extremely efficient updates and photographs taken of the installation progress were shown to us, at the end of the process the electrician supported with getting the App to the mobile and went through it with us

The ONLY company from five contacted, who sent a consultant to our home .. all the others worked from photos and phone calls (never the same person twice ).
Initial Consultation with George Christou - Superb knowledge and understanding of the products, systems, benefits, pros and cons of their products and the solar industry generally. Friendly, polite and down to earth .. no hard sell, rushing or pushing for decisions. George took his time to ensure we understand literally everything. More importantly, my husband only lip reads, so he was patient and respectful, repeating anything that needed clarifying. Once the survey and plans were completed, George was our go to point of contact, trouble shooting and sorting out queries pre-installation. He was a super-star !!
Installation - 2 man team, Brad (electrics) and Darius (panel/roofer) .. again the quality of the company was reflected in the installation team. Professional, polite and friendly and punctual. Our job presented some unseen issues which were dealt with efficiently and without any drama or fuss. They cleaned up at the end and ensured we understood everything about how the system worked before considering leaving. In fact, they took extra time to draw diagrams to illustrate things and told us about the next steps regarding paperwork and changing tariffs. George, Brad and Darius without doubt went over and above what we expected.
The Office - I need to mention the office team too .. communication is the key to any successful business .. they were on the ball and kept us abreast of everything at their end.
Superb service all round .. brilliant 😄

I made an enquiry about installing solar panels. I was contacted by Ben Dylan from Project Solar, who explained that, due to the position of my house and the size of the chimney, there would be too much shade to make it worthwhile installing panels. Disappointing news, but I appreciate Ben’s honesty in not trying to sell me something that wouldn’t work.

Just had Adam leave our home, and all I can say what a very professional surveyor, who gives me loads of confidence to use project solar , if we decide to take it forward

Will and Benny did a great job, especially considering the weather was not on their side. They even recommended repositioning the system around the side of the house, which caused them more work, but they still did it.

A great service all round. Project solar kept us informed and checked whether the installation team had arrived on time and if we had any questions. The installation team was friendly and efficient and explained the whole process. A very impressive service.

I just had a telephone conversation with Dylan who was extremely friendly and helpful he was so refreshingly honest as when he had gathered all the information he needed on our property he informed me that it would not be worthwhile having solar panels installed as we didn’t spend enough on electricity.
He said our property was ideal in position and roof space and other companies would try to sell panels to us but as he said the idea of solar panel was to save us money and if they wouldn’t there was no point.
Thank you so much for you professionalism and honesty.

I was happy that Project Solar sent around a sales rep pretty promptly after I was referred to them by the Eco Experts.
But the sales rep turned out to be less knowledgeable than me ... and I am new to this solar and battery stuff myself.
Also the products offered are very limited, with silly claims of higher performance and 99 year warranty.
I will not trust them as an installer with this experience alone.

Very professional company and always checked my needs were covered and everything was going to plan.

No issues with the process and system appears to be working well. Surprised at how much I find myself looking at the App to see how much energy produced and how much is being used, or, exported to the grid even on overcast days.
Fitters friendly and efficient did a good job.

I was investigating the possibility of installing solar panels. I rceceived a phone call from Josh who had a telephone conversation with me. Inmy case we determined that they would not be a viable proposition. I was immpressed by his professionalism and honesty. There was no pressure or attempts to sell me somthing which was not viable. If my circumstanses change in the future I shall be contacting Project Solar for advice and a quotation.

Not alot of people understand how solar works and therefore placing alot of trust into the person selling you this idea.
Yes, you have an independent company who checks over figures, which is great. However, having had my solar for a week, I have a greater understanding of how things work, as im learning on the job.
1 frustration I have is that I was given a 3.5k invertor. What this does is converts the energy from the sun, into actual electricity that you can use. But it can only convert upto 3.5kw at a time.
Project Solar knew I had a ev car, with a home charger and should assume its a standard one which uses 7.4kw.
So, what happens now is when I charge my car, half of the electricity its using is from solar, but the other half is still from the grid (which goes against the whole point of going solar.)
In a nutshell, I was expecting to pay nothing to Scottish power going forward, if I monitored my solar usage and battery %. But thats not the case, im still having to pay Scottish power to charge half my car.
Positive notes are installation was great, everything else has been great. I just feel hard done by, given an invertor or a system, that cannot fully charge my ev car, which is my biggest expense.
Scaffolders also didn't apply for a license as they were blocking a public footpath, nor cover up the poles with any foam.
The electrician did arrive on the day that was planned, however the guys installing the solar panels arrived a day late.
Had I been sold an invertor that charges my car purely off solar, id be giving 5* as everything else are just minor.

Will and Ben arrived early and cracked on straight away.
They were friendly, tidy and efficient. Once done they explained to me what they had done and how to use my new setup so I understood it. Thoroughly recommend.
