Easy to use
Easy to install, the Prepaid Sim has given us access to everything we need from translators to Google Maps to accessing emails. We can also FaceTime with our grandkids.

Not good
I used Tiktok to save a bunch of travel guides for Korea before I left home but when I got there Tiktok wasnt working for the reason I found out later the service provider they use for the SIM was Chinese. For some reason they block Tiktok in Korea which is weird. It made me think at first the whole SIM wasnt working because I had Tiktok set as my internet homepage and it said cannot connect to the internet. I later realised yeh it was OK just no Tiktok so I never did get to access those travel guides. I found their support staff a bit condescending treating me as if I was some kind of moron when its basically a technical issue with their product. My travel companion who got one on arrival at the airport had no issues with theirs so I wished Id just done that. I started thinking why am I getting stressed talking to some IT support person when Im on holiday. One of their suggestions was to break the SIM take photos request a refund. Basically i expected a 100% trouble free service and it wasnt so I dont recommend them but yeh the SIM was working just not for the main site I wanted to use while I was there.

Quick delivery and good responsiveness…
Quick delivery and good responsiveness to the one question I asked pretrip. Followed easy instructions to set up Access Point Name on plane to Japan and the card worked perfectly as soon as we landed and throughout holiday. Others I travelled with had limits on their data and were rationing use, but I was fine. Would definitely use again.

Great connection without interruption
I used this unlimited e sim card in japan while stayed in Tokyo and traveled rural area. tbh, this is the best sim card I have ever used. No interruption even in the busy Tokyo, connection was smoothly and strong. Highly recommended.

Had an issue
Had an issue, when I landed in Vietnam, the esim I purchased would not connect. At first I was annoyed as I'd heard dodgy companies sometimes sold used/expired esims and I thought I got scammed. Connected to the airport WiFi and emailed customer service quite rudely expecting not to get a reply. Got a very prompt reply from Alvin who after some back and forth figured out that my issue was from an old esim I deleted, that kept it's access point details as default so the new one wouldn't connect. Had nothing to do with the them, entirely my issue. Big thanks to Alvin who went above and beyond. Thanks again.

Did everything as described. Able to access all social media and news etc all throughout Hong Kong, Macau and China. Excellent for Alipay and local apps as well.

Would not recommend prepaid Sims at all for Japan
They would cut out my data three times during my trip and when I first arrived this system was shut down for two days. Definitely don’t recommend this if you’re travelling to Japan using the unlimited SIM.

Very Happy with mobile service and customer service
Very Happy with mobile service and customer service. Few hiccups occurred when trying to connect and I thought I'd be left stranded in Japan. Was able to reach out and speak with Anna who has been super helpful. Sim works perfectly in Hakuba ski mountains. I have a Samsung Note 10+ which allows me use of dual sin ( or have two sims at the same time)... a tip. Set the sim up once you reach your destination not before. I tried to do it in advance so that when I turned my phone on arrival to Japan it would work. That didn't go to plan and needed to delete the settings and restart all over again. Worked without a hitch second time round with the help from Anna. Unlimited 15 days will more than me enough. Google maps works great as well. I would recommend this physical sim. coverage is great and plan is affordale
