I'm not sure why these guys only have an 'Average' rating.

I emailed a question and had a response the same day, within a couple of hours.

I made the order for a sale model, and it arrived the next working day with good comms from FedEx and the company.

A great model and great customer service.

Premier Models Review
I bought a model boat from this company on November 25th 2025. Web site informed buyers of 10 to 14 days delivery time.
This delivery time usually means they do not hold the item in stock, and it has to be bought in from somewhere else in the world.
After 13 days without despatch details, I messaged and asked for an update on the status of my order. The reply was that the kit was all wrapped up and ready to go and would be despatched “by tomorrow”.
This was two lies. The item was not wrapped up and ready to go, and it was not despatched by tomorrow.
Another two days went by and I messaged again, this time asking for exact details of the status or my order and asking that I be told the truth.
This time the reply was “Rest assured, it is on the way”. Another lie, and my request for exact details was completely ignored.
After another two days I lost any faith in ever receiving my item, so I messaged again (Both personally and via Paypal) asking for the order to be cancelled and for them to refund my payment.
Suddenly I get information that they have a backlog and are working hard to clear it. My request for a refund was completely ignored and no reference to it was made in their message. Nor were there any details on the exact status. Up to this point, no apology given either.
After 21 days I have been told three lies, have had two requests for updates and a request for a refund ignored, and I am still waiting for despatch details.
Original order was for Prinz Eugen model ship kit, and, included with that was a free Occre paint kit.
Finally, on 20th December 2025 I received the ship kit, but minus the expected free paints.
On 14th January 2026 two weeks after they told me “The paint kit will be despatched soon”, I requested an update on the paints (Not really sure why because they never give any relevant information) and was told “The PB1 paint kit will be despatched soon”. As usual an absolutely useless reply that told me nothing.
January 27th 2026, two weeks after they told me “The paint kit will be despatched soon”, I finally receive the paints and the order is completed. This is over two months since I waved my money goodbye.
If you want to be told lies, requests for information and refunds ignored, and having to wait two months for your order to be completed, all without any apology, then you will be happy with this company. Me, I require higher standards of customer consideration. The goods, when they finally arrived, were all good, but the experience was annoying, stressful and unnecessary.
There is nothing Premier about this company. I will not be using them again.

Deliberately misleading customers about the delivery time. "In stock" is also fictional, as when I placed my order it was in stock just to find out later that it was being sent by the supplier (not in stock).
Having raised the issue, received no apology or any communications to acknowledge my disappointment.
I am going to document my emails to them , so that I can start a "charge back" through my bank.

I ordered models of the IJN Yamato and the USS Iowa battleships. They are beautiful models and arrived intact thanks to the excellent way the models were packed. They now have pride of place in my living room. The company was easy to deal with and easy to contact. The Yamato was the biggest battleship ever built but was sunk in an aircraft attack in 1945. The Iowa was the biggest US battleship ever built. After the war it was mothballed but was subsequently reinstated. In 1989, an explosion in the second turret killed 47 sailors. Thank you PSM for providing valuable and beautiful models.

Extremely pleased with my Premier Ship Model, USS Somers. It is a gift for my daughter who attends the United States Naval Academy. I wanted something beautiful, detailed, professionally built with quality materials, and worthy of her accomplishments of being appointed a Midshipman,at the Naval Academy. After researching ship model builders, I went with Premier. From the time I contacted them, to the completion of the build, I couldn't have been more informed with details and plans of the build. It is not a well known ship, with very few photos, replicas or drawings of the ship. They helped with researching through historical data to find depictions, drawings or replica photos. They communicated throughout the process, with EXTREME detail of their plans of the model build. The ship arrived and my wife and I were amazed. The ship arrived in immaculate condition, the packaging was bomb proof, and the amount of detail, beauty and obvious quality of the ship, exceeded our expectations! My daughter will receive it on her Thanksgiving break and I am 100% sure she will love it! It is a gift, that is worthy of "Family Heirloom" significance. Five Stars, Three thumbs up and ✌🏻 to the entire team at Premier Ship Models!!

I ordered my model of the “Andre Doria” back in November of 2024. I was told it would be around 4 months to build. However the build took a longer than expected, but I was kept up to date with progress photos. Upon completion It was then sent to the U.S. by way of sea shipment.

It arrived recently and upon unpacking I realized it was well worth the wait ! The quality of workmanship and attention to the smallest detail was amazing.

Premier Ship Models was easy to deal with. My inquires were answered promptly. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Very realistic piece and great effort to adapt and be close to the reality of the boat. A dream I had since I was a kid and they fulfilled it.

There was a problem with my delivery into Australia, as it appeared to have got lost when it arrived into Botany.It was taking a long time to sort with UPS. So Naz organised the order to be resent and it arrived within a week from the UK. The response to the problem was excellent.

I am delighted with my model of HMS Ashanti (a WW2 destroyer commanded by my grandfather)
The attention to detail was exceptional and has been much commented upon.
I will enjoy it for many years to come

With great regret, I became aware that age was putting an end to my 38- year relationship with my delightful Frances 26 ”Freja”. My equally delightful wife sweetened my sorrow by letting me commission a Premier Ship model. The result, after half a year, is stunning- a tiny object of great elegance and beauty.
The Premier crew were extremely easy to communicate with, and very professional. Highly recommended, and solidly worth a substantial price.

I placed an order and received it the following day which also included a complimentary TB1. You can't get a faster or more customer friendly response than that!

I was looking online at ship models and found the one I wanted at a good price. I had a good experience with them however when I got my model after a month of waiting, the bow and stern railings were detached a bit and the name on the ship reads Queen Mary 2 but the name on the plague reads Queen Mery 2. When I reached out to them to find out the best way to fix the railings, I never got a response back. While this is a good company, the lack of response makes me not give it 5 stars.

Delivery promise is a work of fiction. Be sure to complete your transaction using PayPal...will make the claims process much easier when your model fails to arrive.

Premium Ship Models has been amazing to work with on my custom 1on1 Silvercat catamaran. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is insane—these guys are true artists. Communication has been smooth and professional throughout. Can’t wait to receive the shipment.

Ordered a certain ship as it was “in stock” only for them to say the kit had to be made and sent from manufacturer. Ordered and paid for paint brushes and they never arrived. Customer service is terrible and communication is next to nothing.

Deceptive retail pricing, discounts do not make sense when you actually look at the real manufacturers RRP. Basically over-inflating RRP to pretend they are offering a good deal (40% Off). Beware the shipping charges as well, what may seem a low price suddenly becomes a lot more with a shipping charge of £16.00 in the UK, and also a shipping protection charge automatically added (You can opt out of this).

This company has always been a pleasure to deal with. Have bought several kits off them over time and never had problems
I do wonder about their choice of courier as they are very ordinary at this end

A pleasure to deal with. I knew the model that the I ordered was on back-order (across all suppliers), so it was a bit speculative and I was prepared to wait. I was contacted shortly afterwards with an update on the likely delivery date and given the option of waiting until then, a refund, or a partial refund against a suitable (and cheaper) alternative that was in stock. Couldn't have been more helpful and would certainly purchase from them again.

Tried several places to buy the occre endurance model kit but without success.
Premier ship models had it in stock at a cheaper price than most places.
Ordered it and Premier ships kept me informed every step of the delivery process, and very quick delivery.
Will be looking at Premier Ship Models for my next project.
