The hospital was very nice along with the administration staff. A nice reception area, and drink ks provided.
The radiographer was polite and friendly and efficient.
The consultant was a different matter. I had a knee complaint. The consultant didnt Evan examine it , he just looked at the x rays taken on the day .He came to the conclusion I needed a brace and anti inflammatory's.
I told him id had a brace on for three months and didnt like tablets. But that was the best he could do?? I was walking with a limp and have worn away cartlidge?
I have since been to the spire at Nottingham for a second oppinion. The consultant has actually physically checked my knee, it is damaged but also had a cyst down the back of my knee that keeps filling with fluid. They have recommended i need a knee replacement asap.
How can two views be so far apart. Pretty terrible experience, and i would not recommend it.
I was generous in giving it two stars as the staff were very nice.

Thank you for the chance to express my thanks to Emersons Green Clinic in Bristol.
I was a recent visitor to have my painful knee checked. My phone call was dealt with efficiently and an appointment was made for a fortnight's time.
Once there I was very quickly seen by an orthopaedic consultant who examined my knee thoroughly and after it was x-rayed, patiently explained what he saw on the x-ray. He outlined a couple of options for the way forward and suggested I think about them. However, in his opinion he concluded there was no need for surgical intervention.
I was completely reassured and felt the consultation fee was good value for money.

I received an appointment to see a consultant for my injury reasonably quickly but there was no one available to undertake an ultrasound scan on the day of my appointment. I was promised a call back within a few days to arrange which did not happen. The following week i was advised the first available slot for a scan was a further 3 weeks. My injury was time sensitive and this length of delay for a scan was completely unacceptable, so i decided the NHS was a better route for my treatment. I have informed BUPA that i feel this level of service for a Private hospital is very poor and would not recommend this hospital if they are slower than the NHS for basic services like scanning.

Ever since i had the hip operation 2 years ago i have been in pain ever since. Now its seems i have been abandoned by you. Its difficult to speak to anyone and if i do no one gets back. The surgeon i spoke to the other day said someone would get back to me. Guess what ive heard nothing. Disgusted.
Being able to see a GP within a few days rather than months. Alex Moorhouse at Shepton is amazing. So is Pouya. Both of whom I have seen several times since my first visit last October. Also, the reception staff are always extremely polite and helpful. Only problem is on site parking which is almost impossible.

The group physio session I attended 6 weeks after my total knee replacement operation was really helpful. Well balanced with simple need to know areas, together with personal concerns being answered and creative and supportive exercises to suit everyone.

The appointment was cancelled by phone 15 minutes before I planned to leave home to attend my appointment. I was told that I had been booked in to see the wrong consultant and that I would get a refund of my money. I said I didn't want a refund just another booking with the correct consultant and was told that the consultant would not be in the clinic till April. So my payment was refunded and no further appt. given.

I arrived and went to reception where I was told to wait in the waiting room. A few minutes before my appointment I was called through for my procedure.
The staff were polite and very efficient - I cannot fault the service provided.

Just 20minutes after my initial enquiry ( via website ) I received a phone call from a very helpful person, who
offered me an appointment in a few days time. At the
hospital all the staff were extremely helpful and polite.
There is even a carpark attendant to help you park. Within 45 minutes I had extensive xrays and a consultants diagnosis. I thoroughly recommend this hospital

Do not use I would advise going to a professional company who will treat you with respect.
I would give no stars if option was available. Rude and lazy staff in Devizes office. No correspondence from them I had to keep calling them for information. They said someone will call me back but never did. Turned up for appointment only to be told it was cancelled last month, again no correspondence from them. Another day I had to waste off work. They were also discriminating towards me and thought it funny about my disability and showed no remorse or regret. Did not know, understand or care about the disability discrimination act. Everyone in the office needs to attend a discriminatory course. When you complain you get threats of delayed treatment or denied treatment. Been waiting 5 months for treatment but heard nothing. I would not use them for their appalling treatment of patients. It’s a shame that the officer staff and manager let the whole team down. If they carried out the work they are employed for rather than trying everything not to, I’m sure the practice would benefit.i don’t think the drs know what’s going on as the office staff hide everything from them, or at least I hope that’s the case. Frustrating and ignorant is the best description for them.

Absolutely appalling- told to ring and make appointment if I didn’t get phone call in a week. Phoned 16 times, no answer. Left x4 messsges, no one returned call.
Eventually a receptionist at on main reception asked them to ring me, scanning them denied receiving the referral, went back to GP. Referral had been marked by Practice plus as received. Again attempted to reconnect, no answer and message left. If I could leave zero stars I would.
Now going to the hospital to speak to someone face to face, definitely WOULD NOT recommend
