Putney Post Office (London) SW156SG

I visited the Putney Post Office (Upper Richmond Road, London SW15 6SG) to print some black-and-white documents and was charged £1 per page. I printed 10 pages and ended up paying £10 in total.

When I mentioned that the price seemed extremely high, I was told that this was the price set by the Post Office. However, just outside the branch there are several places where black-and-white printing typically costs around 10p to 15p per page.

Charging £1 per page for a simple black-and-white print is excessively expensive and far above the normal market rate. This kind of pricing is difficult to justify and should be reviewed.

Whatever happened to the Post Office??

On 5 December last year my wife paid to send a large package containing Christmas gifts to relatives who were visiting Portugal with their young family. She purchased a 10 day 'priority' mailing service at our local Post Office, which she was told would ensure the delivery of the package within that time. It didn't. Seemingly swallowed up by the EVRi logistics system Post Office now uses the package re emerged several weeks later in Portuguese customs. It was eventually delivered six weeks late on 21 January, the package having been torn open en route and deprived of several of its contents. Having paid additional taxes and customs charges and bought replacement gifts on Christmas Eve the whole experience cost us almost £400! We paid Post Office £56.80 to send the package and we now want to recover what we lost. But the staff at our local branch and at Post Office Head Office made it very clear that they want nothing to do with it. We have instead been told to contact EVRi about our case. We feel incensed that Post Office has outsourced its mailing service to a third party and it is now trying to dodge its responsibility. I have a terrible feeling that we'll just have to go to court to recover our money. The Post Office used to actually care about this kind of thing. But those days are gone.

Great Delivery Service from the Post Office

I was kept fully informed by the Post Office from the moment my order was dispatched. They updated me on the expected delivery day, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring. My remote control arrived safely, promptly, and exactly as promised. Excellent service all round

Very helpful lady at Bideford Post Office

I visited the main Post Office at Bideford to tax a car, I tried to do it through DVLA but because it required a taxation class change I had to tax it first 😒and then send the documents back to DVLA again with proof it's taxed then they would change the class and send the documents back 😒😒😒, so into the Post Office I went, I spoke to a lovely smiley lady and explained what I had to do, she read the letter from DVLA and said " why do all that I can do it all for you here and now". She checked the MOT and Insurance documents, took payment and said "all done, I will send the V5C away for you as well and it will come back with the new tax class".
All this took about 5 minutes, wonderful service from a very helpful, happy lady. 10/10 Bideford, Thank you.

Horrendous

Horrendous - two female counter staff chatting whilst I waited at their 'stop' sign. No other customers. Continued to chat, I moved in front of them, continued to chat. Eventually the dark-haired lady said 'yes'. I asked for stamps please. No 'please' or 'thank you' in reply (basic curtesy?). Ruder than rude! Reading other reviews, it appears that many customers are treated similarly. Begs the question – does the Franchisee/Agent or Royal Mail not care about this level of unprofessionalism and appalling customer service? RUDE!!!!! Will avoid going in that shop and using that PO counter. If I could have score NO STAR I would have.

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR BUGLE POST OFFICE…

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR BUGLE POST OFFICE IN CORNWALL ONLY.
As a charity collector I have to pay in money that has been collected. As we have no banks in the local or surrounding area Post Offices are now the only option.
I would like to place on record my gratitude, help, support and professionalism of all staff at Bugle who have gone beyond what can only be described as outstanding and took all the money I had in change (Over £3K) to be deposited.
Special thanks for Nikki who was on the receiving end of my money but also to the staff for their help. Also thanks to the customers who have needed to wait whilst I paid this money in over several visits.
If you need a place to find helpful and friendly staff then look no further than Bugle.

0 rating for service and accuracy. I’m very angry about miscalculation.

I would rate the so-called service at the Palmerston Road, Portsmouth PO as 1 star. However, if only it were an option I would rate my experience at 0. I attempted to send a parcel of books weighing 1.91kg (i.e. less than 2kg) measuring 28cm x 22cm x 5cm (i.e. a total 55cm, i.e. nowhere near the 90cm total dimensions permitted). The so-called assistant tried to charge me over £38.00. I retrieved my parcel, came home and checked the PO website, which confirmed what I already knew, i.e. he had tried to overcharge me about £10 more than the published rate. Why are you permitting this to happen?

I went to Sunninghill Post office this morning .I was trying to return some goods by post . The friendly staff couldn’t have been more helpful . They took the delivery imagine from my phone, printed out on their printer and used their own tape to put this on the package , so we were able to send it . I was so pleased and most grateful for their impeccable service .
