We're a social enterprise nonprofit & our budget is embarrassingly nominal. This sweet little pop up allows us to gather much needed emails (and do other promos). Easy to use & effective on a no-budget!

My general ideas about Popupsmart have been very encouraging, and I would strongly suggest Popupsmart to someone interested in exploring this for their website. You don’t have to have any technical knowledge because they have a user-friendly interface. Using the Free plan, you can also test almost every feature without paying any money. Numerous special features help popups to be customized and published according to expectations and goals. In addition, you can easily integrate your campaigns with Mailchimp to collect user data. Integration with Mailchimp is effortless for anyone because the document explains the fundamental steps that you need to follow. The customer service is also consistently friendly & helpful, and quick. However, creating a new popup doesn’t take just 5 minutes, as they said, because of understanding the process and correctly implementing features. The period can be adjusted to be more believable.

Nothing smart about popup smart.

They had an amazing website and fast / responsive support, but the software lacks very basic functionality like

- editing line height in the visual editor
- being able to choose a full screen pop up at the start of the process
- not being able to remove fields that are already part of a template

This software is not ready for primetime.

Popupsmart helps collect leads for our products and visitors for our events. We can set different targeting, and customize messages depending on user location, browser language, etc. Popups are displayed great on both desktop and mobile and the free version works just right to figure out your best messaging. Popupsmart is also well-documented and you can follow its documentation to create your campaign seamlessly. The customer service is wonderful and quick. There is Zeynep, who works for me until my problem is solved. However, it doesn’t have a direct integration with Calendly.

Popupsmart is a very user friendly tool, making popup in this platform is very easy. They always are there to help, we contact further times the assistance and they always help us solve problems.

First time using this. Setting up the design was super easy which was great! Had a few issues getting the pop up live but they were super helpful with ensuring the right code was dropped in GTM and getting it live as quick as they could. Would definitely use again

In advanced targeting options, geo-targeting allowed us to make city-based popup campaigns. In this way, we developed our lead generation model and created more personalized campaigns. Thanks to Popupsmart's easy interface, I could easily create the popup design in 5 minutes.

The only bad experience I have had so far is that the support team returns late compared to germany hours. Other than that, I can recommend the product.

Low quality product run unprofessionally. I wouldn't trust them with my business again.

So I did everthing according to the article and it still didn't work. I was trying for hours before I contacted their customer support. Emre only asked for my Shopify password and then he disappeared for days. He claimed my password was wrong, and although I said I can change it just for him, he just left and never answered even though I still tried to get to him, asking him to try, as I was loggin in and out to confirm my password is correct. This seems like a scammy site, with such a horrible customer service representative.

Overall: It was great, especially for the targeting part. We have created numerous setups according to traffic sources and triggered those popups while user engagement is high enough to increase our CTRs / fill rates.

Pros: I was using very popular another solution as I never see Popupsmart before on Google searches before but one of our friend help me to discover them. The UI is very useful and easy to understand. I like that style of popups and the total experience of creating new popups. Also analytics part was great to conduct A/B test in our end. As we are very page-speed obsessed agency, when we migrate solution to our clients, we also measured TTFB of the server and it is great to see that it is very fast solution for not creating any blocker for frontend.

Cons: It was painful to migrate my previous popup while making onboarding. I wish to have dedicated account specialist can take care of migration of our setup.

Awful / virtually no support when I had a problem. The code did not work on my website and they responded once with a short answer that did not help me at all. I sent multiple emails after but they opened and chose not to respond to my emails. I will never use this site again.
