My representative was Kevin Peterson. His broken English was very hard to understand. He got annoyed with me because I had to keep asking him to repeat information. First of all the email I got from P... See more

Scam in deguise
Purchased a ticket to fly to San Francisco for an appointment. The appointment was then cancelled. I called Pocketfare within 24 hours of purchase and they would not refund. My card had not yet been charged and there is no actual airline ticket and yet they say the charge in inevitable and it's completely against their policy to refund. I don't understand how I can be charged for a ticket that doesn't exist. They are not trustworthy, have the worst customer service, and are more of a scam than a travel company.
Fare switch
We booked a flight through Pocketfare.com on a European airlines at a good price.
Then we got a call from Pocketfare to say that this was a promotional price and no luggage allowance, ZERO
We should pay more than double to actually get regular fare. It was more expensive than booking with the airline direct. Upon asking for cancellation we were told that they would cancel but not refund the price that we were charged originally.
After a lot of discussion they agreed to cancel without cost. Be aware of fare switch
Bait and switch, buyer beware!!
Booked a flight on Southwest, it was a few hundred dollars less than on the Southwest website. I thought it sounded a bit too good, but no bad reviews could be found on the web. It turns out the flight they book you on is standby and then they call and aggressively try to upsell you into a normal flight at pretty much the regular price. They say you cannot cancel for any reason, a total bait and switch scam. Do not use PocketFare, buyer beware!!
