I was looking to upgrade my DC HO scale trainset and had seen several videos for the KATO Soundbox, Plaza Japan had all the recommended components,(Plus I ordered the wifi remote) Their part recommendations ensured I had the right parts to make the conversion easier by identify what was needed/recommended. My order arrived in a timely fashion and I quickly installed the parts I had ordered. Successful setup right away!

Their price is very competitive. Items packed with care also fast shipping. I'd like to buy from them again.

Great range of Tamiya parts. Would have given 5 stars if it was not for the relatively high shipping costs.

The website was easy to navigate, with good descriptions of the products and their availability. I ordered two 1/72 models at a reasonable price. The items shipped quickly and arrived a few days later; very fast even having to deal with customs. Overall, an execllent company to do business with and one that I will definitely use again.

This review is unprompted, as a Dutch customer I've placed several orders here now including some pre-orders, they have many products and typically a decent stock too, wishlist and notification options for items currently not in stock and do an amazing job packaging the shipments.

I have to pay a bit extra because I have to pay import taxes and shipping fees, but considering the quality of service, products available, excellent packing/shipping it's very much worth it.

As such I highly recommend Plaza Japan for your collectibles even for international customers!

My search for this particular model (SR-72 Darkstar) brought me to your easily navigable website. The store accepts most pay sites, and I was kept notified of when the model shipped. One caution, though- before getting the shipment, you will have to pay the tariff. When the model arrived, it was well packed. The model is a very detailed version of the aircraft.

I made my order of bearbrick on 29 March and it just reached me today on 14 Apr 2026. I chose the cheapest shipping option and my parcel was not tracked. But the parcel just arrived at my doorstep today! Amazing packaging with no damage at all.

I'd not heard of Plaza Japan before, but they had an item I wanted at a great price compared to the competition. Ordering to the UK, I was worried about long delivery times (since items from ship from Japan) as well as customs fees.
I decided to try it thanks to the good reviews; ordered really late on a Monday night, and on Tuesday 9am I got an email saying it had already shipped! I'd chosen the cheapest Japan Post Economy shipping option, so it said it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive, and yet, it reached just 6 days later after shipping!
The item was extremely well packaged and secured, and it was overall such a great experience. Will definitely be buying more again.

Absolutely superb service. So fast and really good prices too. Definitely the best place to shop if you want stuff from Japan. I was amazed they had a whole range of FRISK mints, which I got addicted to while I lived there, so I ordered a bunch and they came a few days later. The nostalgia was so strong! :D
