Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 109 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people expressed strong dissatisfaction with the product, describing the gameplay as unfair or lacking transparency, leading to a perception that card deals were not random and resulted in frequent losses. Customers also found the website and app to be problematic, citing issues like excessive pop-ups, distracting features, and a poor user experience that frequently led to frustration. The pricing structure was also a major point of contention, with many feeling pressured to constantly purchase chips due to the perceived unfairness of the game. Reviewers consistently reported a negative user experience, characterized by a lack of genuine poker play and a focus on encouraging frequent chip purchases. They felt the game's design led to a cycle of buying more chips. Some also mentioned that the app's "updated" versions reduced visual quality and added unwanted screen elements, further detracting from their enjoyment.

I just signed out after being beat on…

I just signed out after being beat on the river card three straight times! And of course each river card was a one, or a two outer, with only a minuscule chance of success, so the opponent naturally bets everything they have, right?

Friday night I found my WSOP app and…

Friday night I found my WSOP app and icon disappeared. Prior to this 6 billion chips disappeared from my WSOP account with over 19 billion chips. They originally brought my chip count from over 21 billion to over 16 billion. I was winning more chips back, then my account disappeared from my tablet. WSOP responded with my account information and chips I had. Their instructions didn't work to reinstate my account. Each time I tried it only let me in as a new user with 500,000 chips . I emailed them again and haven't got a response yet. I tried to even log in with email and password, but still couldn't access my account. I even selected forgot password so they can allow me to reset my password, as was suggested when I searched my WSOP disappeared. The response to forgot password was always Oops something went wrong. I truly believe that if you don't buy their chips and other offerings, after all the sales ads they force upon their users, that they get upset and punish their users. I played at smaller tables to not lose to much and grew my chip count. If this is like the last time I sought their help for missing chips, I must assume they won't help me have access to my account. They already said they don't refund missing or stolen chips. The only thing they did so far is give me a link to download their app which starts you as a new user! I thought the 6 billion they stole was scandalous, but over 19 billion is pure criminal, in my opinion! On 9/1/24 I emailed Google play to explain my situation with the wsop app that they offer their users
Time will tell if they respond! I received no acknowledgment from Google play as of the morning of 9/2
I'll update again if they respond. I'm considering having a lawyer contact the wsop app, or whoever he thinks he should contact.

Rigged

Rigged, dealer is constantly sucking out and beating my hands by one card. It’s programmed to let you win a few just to keep it looking fair but it’s rigged.

"I’ve been playing WSOP for a while

"I’ve been playing WSOP for a while, and my experience has been increasingly frustrating. It feels like the game is designed to make you lose more than you win. Even when you get a strong hand, like a full house, there's always someone else with a better hand, making it impossible to get ahead. It’s not just about losing—it's about the constant pressure to buy more chips, sometimes multiple times a day. There’s no mercy; it feels like they’re just out to take your money rather than letting people enjoy the game. WSOP needs to remember that players are here to have fun, not to be drained of their money."

I agree with the comments

I agree with the comments. This is the most dishonest game on the planet. It is just not possible to constantly lose on the river.

Also the pop-ups while you are playing are annoying beyond comprehension. They will never, ever, ever, ever get a dime of my money.

Too many bots you're playing against for real, they're not even real people all the time trust me the deck is stacked against you along with this is the most crookedest poker site I've ever been on. You think I'm going to buy more chips? You're out of your mind and so would anybody else that played this?

If you love to lose and are a glutton…

If you love to lose and are a glutton for punishment...this game is for you! I call it "you can't win holdem". It is really fun when it automatically folds when you are all in and my favorite it disconnects when you have everything in the pot...love that part. Now the new thing is it won't load on my computer anymore. I can't accesss my acount at all and support just sends robo returns. I am going to buy lottery tickets with the money I blew on this game...at least I will have a better chance to win...a much better chance. Enough is enough.

I'm really tired of judging the chosen

I'm really tired of judging the chosen, God tells me ...he works in mysterious ways and for me to suffer is the way I become more complete of the lords ways, yet I am human , it just hurts so very much to see what we all know and have learned, I pray daily, that power and money, although I've it destruction of this world Play out, just please listen to me ,all of us knows the ways of God, we can inforce monies rule of God's children, we cannot be proud of the ways of power of the false promises of money, they both dilute our brotherhood, it's so profound to me that the chosen people, has a blindly rushed through the gile of the most precious life with God and it hurts so badly...God save the children.

A scam app designed to make you spend money to buy useless things.

This app is a total scam designed around encouraging you to spend money on useless things. The worst part however is that the game is obviously fixed to encourage you to buy things. There are bots and the dealers get hands that defy statistics. They always seem to have a pocket ace when needed to secure the hand and have two suited pocket cards necessary to make a flush.

The lamesest part is the rating system which is not based on your skill, but how much you bet. You progress more, the more you bet and when you reach higher levels you are "forced" to make higher bets to simply play. If you are away for awhile, your level continues down - not because you are not a worse player, but you have not bet money recently and hence you are less likely to be tempted to spend money on the site.

There alleged support is all but lame - sometimes taking days to answer a request about a problem and then often not dealing with the issue.

The built in conversation statements that players can click on to make comments are totally lame to the point that I have to turn off conversation so as not to be distracted and bothered by the lame comments.

A great app to avoid.

BTW, I write this from months of play experience with the app. I must be lame to have stayed with it so long.

App is a joke I've enjoyed but I've never lost more than when I started buying chips once you do that your win percentage drops considerably it's just proof that it's not legit. Once you commit to buying chips you lose 90 percent of the time because they know you are willing to purchase chips, it's BS
and a scam

Scam game

It is so obvious that the game purports to be free-to-play but then it uses bots and dealers (in player vs dealer games) to receive power hands to clean you out and have to buy chips to keep playing.
It lets you win at the start to create an addiction and kicks in the slaughter. I saw 3 straight flushes, (2 within 15 minutes of each other) in a 3-hour 6-player session, maybe a 1,000 hands max. The mathematical probability of that occuring is ridiculously low, unless it is rigged.

Rigged - CHECK ALL PREVIOUS REVIEWS SUPPORTING THIS

This has to be the most rigged Poker game I have ever witnessed.

The game is infested with bots. They all have the same avatars and same type of name/stats. They all have billion upon billions of chips and they never use chat.

As soon as you lose they spam you with advertisements to buy fake chips with real money. The algorithm is so obvious anyone with a braincell can see how rigged it is.

Customer Service are robots that just send you copy and paste emails. Their defence about it being rigged is to provide a certificate that is worthless and doesn’t actually clear them of rigging the game at all (if you read it properly). The certificate does not apply to all the games within WSOP either.

Even if you are able to rank up through the BS, when you get to top ranks they make the buy ins so high that it’s impossible to play any game at all if you have a sizeable loss, making you just log out and not return.

Everything is designed to make you get frustrated and buy chips.

Stay well clear.
