Considering 109 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people expressed strong dissatisfaction with the product, describing the gameplay as unfair or lacking transparency, leading to a perception that card deals were not random and resulted in frequent losses. Customers also found the website and app to be problematic, citing issues like excessive pop-ups, distracting features, and a poor user experience that frequently led to frustration. The pricing structure was also a major point of contention, with many feeling pressured to constantly purchase chips due to the perceived unfairness of the game. Reviewers consistently reported a negative user experience, characterized by a lack of genuine poker play and a focus on encouraging frequent chip purchases. They felt the game's design led to a cycle of buying more chips. Some also mentioned that the app's "updated" versions reduced visual quality and added unwanted screen elements, further detracting from their enjoyment.

Cheating in WSOP Team play

WSOP runs team challenges 5 days every week for chip prizes for the top 5 teams. Unfortunately, WSOP seems to condone cheating during the team cycles by not removing teams immediately when they are reported. So, players on legitimate teams spend time and money buying chips and have no chance at the top prizes. The cheating is easy for players to spot, but Playtika is blind. I’m so disgusted with this and other issues I’m ready to quit.

This game is a breeding ground for…

This game is a breeding ground for racism, homophobia and hate speech. When ppl call you the N word, monkey, baboon, curse at you, say blacks are stupid and homophobic terms because they are losing a free game constantly, and you contact support with screenshots and they do nothing to stop it. There is a serious problem. Then when they send terms of agreement saying they don’t allow those things and it still happens, there a problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

THE CLOWN STAFF AT WSOP

Ok, I ask again? Why are we forced to give even 1 star to these companies that clearly deserve 0 stars, or even - stars?? WSOP is one of them. This was my personal experience, and personal opinion!! I joined this garbage site about 2 months ago, and things were going well, and then for no reason at all, this bull.... site decided to lower my status as a player, which cost me at least 20 hrs of play just to get back to where I was. They gave me no real reason, and they left it at that. So, being retired, love to play poker, so I thought it may take time to get back, but time I have. A few days later, my status was dropped to the point where it would take 40 hrs now to get back to where I was originally. I decided to contact support once again, and this time got no response whatsoever. I also noticed that people who have no idea how to play, will call you all the way to the river, and even though you had them crushed, they will be given a card to beat your hand!! It happens way too often to be a coincidence. It's true they are a free site to play, but they do whatever they can to get you to pay, and because I moved up the ranks very quickly without buying chips to play, I believe is the reason my rank was destroyed. Anyways, if you like poker without the bull...., Do Not Download WSOP!! The site is a joke!! As I stated, this is my personal opinion, but if you look at their star rating on trustpilot, I don't think you will find any site, and or company with a lower one. All of these true poker players can't be wrong!!

This game is such a scam

This game is such a scam. I find it hard to believe it's operating legally. The winning streaks AND the losing streaks are so miraculously ridiculous, it's obvious it's all just an algorithm designed to get you to buy chips. Something I would actually consider doing if it actually played like a poker game. Another thing that is very clearly a rigged scam is literally EVERY SINGLE time i build up "momentum" for their stupid system, the game will start lagging so bad or just freeze and kick me out the table so that I lose all my momentum that took time to get. Literally every single time. I'd be a moron to think that's an accident and I'd be an even bigger moron to play this app and expect it to be like real poker.

False Claims

I have so many concerns about the fairness of WSOP. I think it's been able to avoid controversy with gaming, gambling & poker commissions because it's free to play. However, people are spending enormous amounts of money on in-app purchases. I'm on a team, & during team cycles they offer a chance to use gems to speed up momentum, get additional momentum & get more team points faster. It takes about 4 hrs to reach max momentum to get the most points for your team. Since it's not possible to win enough gems, you have to buy them. However after you buy them, you can only play for about an hour. After you start building momentum, the game will either shut down or kick you out and make you start over. This has happened to everyone on my team. So they are charging you money for something that is definitely not attainable. And that is against the law

This pos app is so rigged

This pos app is so rigged! When I come back on to play they have siphoned my chips! EVERY SINGLE DAY! If you leave a game...Watch your chips dwindle even more. I play against Bella had 900 billion. I now have 15. They set you up to lose 15/20 in a row! They are cheaters! Their side games are a joke. You can collect cards and if you get 10/10 you get chips. I've sat with the same amount of cards for 6 weeks. How is that possible? They want your money! Well F#ck you ...Scammers!

100% Rigged Period

They claim to be regulated by the Nevada Gaming Commission Board. If they are, the NGCB is in on the take. No, we cannot prove it to be rigged because they use a 52-card deck and can always say it's random according to the odds. I've played millions of hands online and find WSOP.COM's real money site to be 100% designed hands. Plain and simple, there is no way I can lose 95% of the big hands I am expecting to win. I have had many sessions of 30-50+ hands in a row of non-playable rags then get AA and lose. I believe all the other review sites that constantly say in unison, "It would be counterproductive for whichever site to be rigged". The main clue about WSOP.COM being rigged is that you cannot chat. That is where most of the other real money sites have players claiming they are rigged which is common. But on WSOP.COM, I believe more than half the players at every table are house robots. Hence, why they don't allow chat because robots will never chat! I can go on and on and agree with every 1-star rating on this site which is hard to find due to the PAID sites that say it's not rigged always showing at the top of the search entries. I say that if WSOP.COM is not rigged, then I and many other players experience 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1 odds of bad luck!

Absolute rip-off!!!!

WSOP has got the best game play layout/graphics by miles but...

Absolute rip-off!!!!

Initially fun playing Beat The House games, fast and get a reasonable winning rates so you accumulate chips to level up and get addicted to playing.

However when you get to Masters & Grandmasters (GM) level then the dealer algorithm just slaughters you. Count on losing 10:1 game ratio with many dealer fl, fh, str consecutive draws and consistent bad beats.

The so called eCOGRA Audit guarantees "that each possible outcome is equally likely over the long-term" which gives WSOP algorithms time to manipulate outcomes to thier favour against targetted players and distribute hands across favoured players to meet "random" distribution requirements.

I would not be surprised if eCOGRA recieves significant Audit Fees for its reports.

It is obvious WSOP wants to force players to buy chips to increase thier company revenue, which wouldn't be so bad if the purchases weren't so costly.

The best package deal at this time is 22B chips is $90 NZ dollars (about 1/2 a days average NZ wages). Min buyin for BTH GM is 1.4B per hand so 22B will be lucky to last you 1 hour at the table. So a week of 1 hour daily play will probably cost you $1000.

Economically you are probably better off play on a Cash poker game at a casino.

This game will cheat you the more you…

This game will cheat you the more you win and play. I thought it was fair and real but the more I won the more they made sure I'd lose on for sure bets. You can have a straight and lose to a full house over and over, unless you pay to get chips then you win until you stop paying this game is a scam and don't pay to play, because the more you pay the more you lose. You get a brief win period then you will be guaranteed to lose everything. I was up over a trillion and lost everything within a hour. This game is a cheater game that only let's you win if you pay 😤 be warned!!!
