I ordered a plate and after ordered I immediately sent an email just to request to allow me to change before the order goes to production.

Here’s transcript of emails - response was very poor and on occasions I had no response.

Worst customers service I’ve had by far for a very long time. I’m all for giving positive reviews but this company just has no customer service skills. £73 I paid not cheap so they kind of took the fun away from it.

I’m disappointed I have not had a response from your company. I’m even more disappointed that I paid £10 for delivery by today latest only to find out the delivery from DPD will be Wednesday.

I’d like a refund of that £10 I paid for extra quick delivery which was guaranteed by Tuesday or at least a partial refund and a response to the original request.

I have still not received the item and had no notification from DPD to give me a time slot. According to the app it’s still at their depot not in transit out for delivery.

Again address my points re £10 and the email I sent straight after order requesting to change of order which I did it get a response to?

An apology would also be of some comfort although that should come naturally without customer prompting.

As you can see I was civilised in my emails and other than one generic response they was shocking.

Terrible quality. Ordered “green” plates for my new EV when they arrived the green strip looked faded and the vinyl on the edge of the plates wasn’t trimmed properly. On contacting PFC I received the response “the badge looks fine”.
The only part of the experience that was any good was that the plates were delivered promptly.
Resorted to writing a review as PFC don’t seem to care and I’d like others to avoid wasting their time and money. I’ve now ordered elsewhere.

I ordered my rear number plate from "Platesforcars" as I wanted a specific size and shape (which a lot of number plates makers don't seem to do) to fit my make and model of car. I ordered/designed the plate on the afternoon of Monday 26th September and it was on the back of my car on the afternoon of Thursday 29th September. Very pleased indeed with the result.

Well, there are many terrible reviews on here but my experience has been excellent. I stupidly made an error when placing my order. Whilst searching for their telephone number I stumbled on the TrustPilot reviews and assumed I had no chance of correcting the order. However my email message was quickly responded to with an illustration of the corrected plates for my approval. The plates arrived 36hours later. All excellent service.

Order was confirmed in writing but plate arrived with a different number on it. After 6 attempts at contacting them they finally responded wanting to know details of the purchase which they had already been given 6 times. Whoever I'm communicating with is either very difficult or extremely dense. They don't read the emails or they would understand their mistake.

After reading reviews on here I was apprehensive about ordering from this company. My experience was great plates arrived very quickly and quality is fantastic

Easy to purchase online, good website & easy to navigate. Keep informed of my order progress & dispatched on time with the method purchased. Delivered on time as advertised. Good quality plates made exactly as I had requested. Having read previous negative reviews I was a little apprehensive about ordering with this company but I must say that my experience has been excellent and I would certainly recommend.

Plates never arrived and no proof at attempted delivery could be provided. Refund that was promised has never materialised either and numerous messages chasing have simply been ignored. Avoid.

I ordered number plates around 4 weeks ago. I have not received anything. I have spoken with them via email and they blamed the courier. i asked for a refund, which they said they would sort.

I believe this company to be fraudulent
i will now need to go to my bank and get them involved to organise my refund

Ordered replacement plates, order arrived but not happy with plates, returned and requested refund, company deny having recieved return and so far have not paid refund, poor customer service don't respond to emails, buyers beware!

Awful company and products no contact number should ring alarm bells straight away,trading standards looking into them very shoddy avoid at all costs

I placed my order on Sunday and looking at the delivery options was puzzled that the quickest was the cheapest. As this was needed ASAP I chose the quickest delivery which was 1-2 days. Gets an email the next day to say it would be 5-6 days. I replied to say this had obviously been a website error and the order was needed as soon as possible. The emails that ensued contained the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER RECEIVED. The person/people who replied to my emails were the most disrespectful I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I was told I was a liar, that I “clearly couldn’t read” and the final email was “what a sad person you are”. Not content with the abuse they had heaped on me they then sabotaged my delivery which was scheduled for the Thursday and changed it to the following Monday. A completely, childish and totally unprofessional joke of a company, my advice to anyone would be AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Ordered plates, emailed asking a question and had a reply within a couple of hours. Plates arrived as stated and they look and feel great! Really happy great company and customer service

Ordered new plates for an electric vehicle and quality is terrible. Green strip looks like the printer has ran out of ink and it’s all faded Plates were returned the following day but still haven’t received any refund. Almost impossible to make any progress and with the company being based in Ireland the chances are they are bouncing around customs somewhere. Ended up getting much better quality plates made up locally for the same price but still out of pocket.

ORDERED A NUMBER PLATE FOR MY CARAVAN HAPPY WITH PRODUCT LIKED THE WEBSITE WAS ABLE TO DESIGN MY OWN PLATE KEPT WELL INFORMED ON DELIVERY STATUS WITH THE LINK TO DPD OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE WOULD USE AGAIN

This company sold me ILLEGAL carbon gel number plates (I have screenshots of the website showing the plates described as UK legal). They also say they offer a 14 day money back guarantee. I have contacted them three times to request my money back and they haven’t even bothered to reply. This is not a reputable company. Steer clear.

I purchased some plates from PLATES FOR CARS because they alleged offer a 3 year warranty.
Recently water started to enter the plate and make it bubble up. There is no drilling whatsoever as they are stuck on with pads.Three times I contacted them for a replacement and they will not reply. Only option now is to see if citizens advice can help. Avoid at all costs

I ordered my plates using the plate designer online which was brilliant. A few days later and they were delivered and on my car! The plates are top quality and look great. I’d definitely use again and would highly recommend.
