Best courses high quality
High price, but extremely valuable mentorship
I joined Philipp’s mentorship program knowing it was a investment, but the value has been real. The feedback goes much deeper than typical tutorials or AI reviews — focusing on production-level architecture, code quality, and how experienced engineers actually think.
What I appreciate most is the detailed code review and the architectural discussions with practical advice tailored to my project. It’s clear a lot of effort goes into helping mentees improve, not just giving generic guidance.
If you’re serious about leveling up as a developer, the mentorship can be extremely valuable.
Top quality courses for busy developers
I really appreciate the way Philipp and his team structure their materials. I have taken 5+ courses over the last two years. As I don’t have enough time to track every industry update myself, these courses serve as a great Anti-FOMO tool. The team provides high-quality, compact knowledge on Android and KMP development. Highly recommended for those who want to stay up to date efficiently
Love the in depth explainations…
Love the in depth explainations provided by the Philipp which truly is require to understand the concepts.
Coding is good, but understanding the code you write is better.
I'm a retiree who took up Android app development for fun thanks to Philip Lackner's excellent tutorials. Now I'm interested in the inner workings of Android and I also want to understand the Kotlin language in detail. That's why I recently bought Philip Lackner's two courses, "Android Internals" and "Kotlin." They aren't theoretical courses, but excellent practical ones for truly understanding the coding and functionality of Android and Kotlin in depth.
Philipp is a very good teacher
Philipp is a very good teacher. I think he always strives to deliver the quality content he promises from the course preview. Personally, I haven't submitted any questions in his courses, but that's because other developers like me ask them and he or his team answer them, which is fantastic. Overall, his explanations and content have helped me a lot in my work and in my development as a native Android and KMP + CMP developer.
The Course is Productive and Easy to follow.
The careful and methodical way, each module and component is explained, makes following the course, both productive and easy to follow.
A very well structured and comprehensive course
This is a very well structured and comprehensive course. All relevant subjects from the basics to more advanced topics are covered in a logical order with worked examples. The team also respond well to any issues found.
You are simply the best!
Philipp's "Kotlin Beyond Syntax" course review.
Here's my 10 cents worth verbatim re Philipp's new "Kotlin Beyond Syntax" course, which I originally sent to Philipp/PL-Coding as a thank you :
"Hi Philipp, just wanted to say :
Am loving the course so far, is filling in a lot of tiny gaps in my knowledge here and there, helping kotlin all make more sense to me now.
Can't wait until I've completed the whole course ... am already feeling far more confident re kotlin/my knowledge about it.
I can/would thoroughly 100% hands-down recommend this course to anyone wanting a complete understanding of kotlin, and as always I am totally impressed by your professional approach to making these videos/courses. They're a very far cry from others out there : "um, ah, what I mean is, ok let me try this instead ...". You've really planned the course/thought it all through. Super professional bar none !!!!
Thank you for all your hard work and total commitment ... probably the best ~€88 I've ever spent !!!!
Thank you Philipp 👍🙏😀"
Guaranteed 5+ stars !!!!
A Course Worth Returning To — Valuable for Both Beginners and Experienced Developers
As a Senior Android Developer, I’ve taken many courses over the years, but I still make a point of purchasing Philip’s courses whenever a new one is released — and that says a lot.
The material is always presented in a clear, structured, and highly practical way. Complex topics are explained with concrete, real-world examples, making them easy to understand and immediately applicable in daily development work. The balance between theory and hands-on demonstration is excellent.
What I particularly appreciate is how the explanations remain accessible without oversimplifying important concepts. Whether you are just starting your development journey or already an experienced professional looking to deepen your knowledge or refresh best practices, these courses consistently provide value.
I highly recommend Philip’s courses to developers at any stage of their career.
