Very poorly organised event from start to finish.
Out of the four scouts who attended, only two appeared to be paying any attention. One scout from Leyton Orient spent most of the session on Facebook and chatting with friends instead of watching the players. Another scout literally fell asleep during the event. I was standing directly behind them, so this was impossible to miss.
The scouts were also positioned a long way from the pitch, making it difficult to properly observe the players. The warm-up consisted of very basic grassroots drills with no coaching, guidance, or player development. It offered little value to the participants.
The feedback report was extremely disappointing. I've seen better and more detailed feedback from a grassroots coach working at grassroots level. My son wore a bib for most of the games, and there is no realistic way that anyone unfamiliar with him could have accurately identified or assessed his performance. The same would apply to many of the other players wearing bibs.
We attended this trial specifically to receive a professional assessment and meaningful feedback on areas for improvement. Instead, the entire experience felt poorly organised, poorly managed, and lacking professionalism. Unfortunately, it came across as a money-making exercise rather than a genuine player assessment.
I would not recommend this event to anyone looking for quality scouting or constructive player feedback.

Thank you for having Clayton today he really enjoyed expressing himself in a situation where he was playing a lot of players older than himself Clayton only being 14 was playing players up too 2 years above and enjoyed the challenge
We’ve already been contacted by Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Stevenage from the event so pleased it was a positive experience and a very well organised event, the coaches all made a great effort to make Clayton feel welcome and this showed a positive impact on Clayton’s performance in not being nervous and taking on the task involved of expressing his football ability and playing with confidence and a smile on his face
We would love to be part of any upcoming events and would certainly recommend to others about the great organisation and professionalism the coaches provided today and an excellent experience for all involved
Thank you
Fantastic team so welcoming and professional my son really enjoyed his session and is booking his second
Good pitch and decent amount of scouts and good players

It was helpful and great experience many scouts watching and many chances
On general was
The experience was truly overwhelming in the most beautiful way. From the very beginning, their professionalism and punctuality stood out, but what touched us even more was their kindness and genuine care.
My son came back so happy, and as a parent, that meant everything to me. He said, “Mum, the coach was very honest with me. He showed me what I was doing wrong and how to improve.” Hearing that filled my heart with so much gratitude. Instead of feeling discouraged, it lifted him up and gave him confidence.
He now looks forward to going back, not with fear, but with determination—to show the coach that he listened, that he has worked on his mistakes, and that he is growing. That kind of impact is priceless.
I will continue to bring my son again and again, trusting that with your guidance, he will keep improving and one day achieve his dream of becoming a great footballer. What you are doing is truly special—you are shaping not just skills, but confidence, belief, and character.
Your communication is also excellent, whether through emails or phone calls, which makes everything even more reassuring as a parent.
Today, my son walks with his head held high. You have given him something so powerful—the belief that he can succeed in life. As a parent, there are no words strong enough to express the joy and gratitude I feel.
Thank you so much for everything you are doing. I sincerely hope, by God’s grace, that he will be able to join the football camp.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you once again. YOU ARE AWESOME.

My son recently participated in the PitchYourSkills event. The drills were very good and well-structured, providing a solid environment for the players to work on their game.
However, I had a major concern regarding the age groups. The event was specifically advertised for 14–16 year olds, but it was pretty obvious that wasn’t the case for everyone on the field. To be honest, there were some players there who looked like they could have gone to school with me—they were clearly well over the age of 16. On top of that, the scouts didn't really look like scouts, which made the whole experience feel a bit less professional than expected.
A note for the organizers: You really need to ID check every player before the event kicks off. Verifying ages at registration would ensure the competition stays fair and that the event maintains its credibility for the age group it’s meant to serve.
It’s a fantastic concept and the training aspect was strong, but the age gap and the scouting presence were real distractions this time around. I hope to see stricter verification and a more professional feel at the next one!

Second time attending, personally first time was way better but this time was not that bad. Coaches didnt let my son play in the position selected when registering but other than that nice experience

Great communication beforehand and on the day. Well organised at the venue - plenty of parking and refreshments etc. Challenging training session prior to the match which my son really enjoyed. Coaches helped to create a great atmosphere and the boys were really supportive of each other despite only having just met their team mates and being in a competitive environment. Good range of scouts present. A very positive experience and much better value than other similar events we have attended.
My son really enjoyed his first time at PYS. The training was well structured before the match and the venue was great, it was very well organised and run by the staff and coaches.

The players were subjected to drills which I think were really necessary before getting into the field of play. Enough time was allocated to the players to showcase their skills

A fantastic event for all young aspring football talent. My son really enjoyed the evening and gained a really good in-site into the next levels he needs to get too. I was super proud of him and all the coaches were very motivational.

A very disappointing experience for my son.
He enjoyed the initial training and there were scouts but felt let down when it came to the match where he could show his skills.
They played 3 parts and he only played his position on one of them, while other kids played their positions through out. He wanted to swap positions with another kid who wanted his position but he wasn’t allowed.
You get a very generic report a few days later where they get marked 1-5 in a few areas.

Was a great day, not too many players just enough to be properly looked at, freindly and professional approach
