Dreadful hearing aids

Dreadful hearing aids which are actually amplifiers not proper hearing aids with fiddly buttons with lots of settings which make no difference to the sound or volume!
Phonas offer 30 days return policy but continually use stalling emails hoping you give up and when you don't change the return policy to 14 days!

Phonas UK

Phonas UK. Note they are not UK. No contact only Hong Kong. No Phone number. If you email them it may be a computer generated email. Product not good. Will not supply address for return but email says if sent to wrong phonas address the y are not responsible. They have 5 Hong Kong addresses.which one, who knows. A good advert (sarcasm) for buying from a company without a UK contact. A bad advert for Hong Kong.

When the hearing aids came only one…

When the hearing aids came only one worked. I asked to return them .The reply was AI . They first offered 5% if I keep them then 10% and finally 15% The email stated I was responsible for shipping customs and a deduction if they were not perfect. They never gave me there address so I couldn't return anyway. They also stated the Hong Kong address was not for returns, which they did not give me. I consider this company to be totally fraudulent and typically Chinese. Do not buy under any circumstances. A total con.

I paid £129 for a pair of hearing aids for my 93yr old mother when they eventually arrived she didn't like them.
I emailed phonas to ask for return label to send back for refund. They told me they don't supply labels and that I had to pay for return delivery and customs clearance to Hong Kong and that they would only refund 5%
Of my £129 don't buy anything from phonas rip off

Avoid this company

The hearing aid I received was dead on arrival. I reported this back to Phonas immediately (together with video evidence as they requested). They didn't get back to me for over 6 weeks. By this time I had bought a different brand. When I asked for a refund they are asking me to pay for the return (despite their website stating that they will provide a return label if reported within 30 days - which I had done). They are being very obstructive. Not an ethical company, their behaviour is cowboy-ish. Not to be trusted. Avoid.

Return issues

The quality of the hearing aids is poor. Tinny sound and not a great fit. I also asked an experienced user for their thoughts. There seemed to be a fault as there was a frequent chirp noise that we couldnt eradicate. PHONAS HAVE BEEN OBSTRUCTIVE WITH THE RETURN AND REFUND, so I would recommend not using their product.

Tried both BTE and CIC

It got both the Phonas BTE and CIC models. The BTE has a stronger, clearer sound, while the CIC is tiny and almost invisible - perfect for going out. Both are comfortable, and I just switch them depending on the day.

What a pathetic company. Their hearing aids are also pathetic.

What a pathetic company. Their hearing aids are also pathetic. They give out a screeching noise that negatively affects the hearing without any positive outcome. After reading the instructions very carefully I did finally manage to get them to settle down but the output was so distorted that speech was totally unrecognised. They are not fit for purpose and are certainly not worth the money even with the £60 discount.
On the customer service side of things they do not care. They are bent on keeping your money and do not abide by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
They put hurdles in your way by offering discounts of up to 20% and saying the items must be sent back to Hong Kong at my own cost and must go to the correct address that, up to now, they have ignored my requests to be furnished with.
Do not fall into the trap of buying anything from this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Don't belive the "positive" reviews because they're fake. The hearing aids are actually "Hearing Amplifiers" and deliver unacceptably poor sound quality: tinny, echos, metallic and harsh. But do believe the 1-star reviews -- they're real and sadly all true. I had (and continue to have) the same problems and cannot get a return address to send the product back for a refund -- after over a dozen email requests!!

Getting them set up was straightforward, and the controls are simple to use. They've made a noticeable difference for me, especially when I'm watching TV or chatting with family.

Stay Away DO NOT BUY

Bought some hearing aids for my dad, they arrived and are not suitable for him to use or his type of hearing loss which is not stated on the website.
For 3 days I have emailed their absolutely dreadful so called Customer Service Centre, they do not respond.
I have been asking for them to provide a return address and how I start the refund process as allegedly on the website they have a 30 day return policy, obviously they do not.
I have just researched this on JusAsk and found more similar cases to my own with the same problems encountered. Some people have had to just write off the loss which I feel is unacceptable as I have followed the return process which they clearly do not follow themselves.
Absolutely terrible experience and would never recommend this company to anyone if my truthful review stops others from losing money from this unscrupulous company then it's done it's job. This company has lost my dad a weeks pension, he ordered on the assumption he could return them. Awful, Awful please do not order from these people.
PLEASE READ THE RETURNS POLICY THEY EMAILED TO ME IT DOES NOT STATE THIS ON THE WEBSITE

Dear customer,

If you insist on returning your product for a refund, please note the following:
1. Cancellations due to non-quality issues will incur a 15% fee, and we do not provide return labels.
2. Our return address is different from the address on the package; we only accept returns to the address we provide. If you send the package to a different address, we will not be able to receive it, and all losses will be borne by the buyer. Please do not return the product without permission.
3. You will need to ship the product back to Hong Kong, and you will be responsible for the return shipping, customs clearance fees, and import taxes.
4. We recommend that you indicate a lower customs value to avoid incurring high taxes and fees. Customs clearance fees and taxes will be borne by you and will be deducted from the refund.
5. We are not responsible if the package is lost during shipping or is returned for other reasons (such as customs detention).

Returns are very troublesome and disadvantageous to both parties. Can we offer a 5% refund on your order? I hope you can keep the product and not request a return.

I ordered the hearing aids that fit inside the ear they sent ones that don't and are not replying

I ordered the hearing aids that fit into the ear and they sent me the wrong type. I contacted them and sent photos as they suggested and heard nothing. So I contacted them again and they sent an email asking for the same information that I had already sent. This has happened three times and still no resolution. I'm now working with my credit card company to get me money back. Rubbish company that can't even be bothered to put right their mistake.

A COMPLETE CON

A COMPLETE CON
I wanted to return these rather poor quality hearing aids. After eleven email requests for the return address my email was blocked. They lied about export costs to return to Hong Kong and fraudulently suggested to falsify the value of the goods on the export forms. I've now reported my interactions with them to Trading Standards. IF YOU BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN GOODS FOR A REFUND.
