Very good experience

The online exam schedule was easy. The staff helped me setup the online exam check up was good.

Everything was rather smooth and easy

The material prepared me for the exam.

My exam was at 7:50PM. I joined the experience at 7:30 and my examiner showed up 10 minutes late at 8PM.

Normally, being late isn't a problem. However, as most people would be when preparing to take an exam, I was tense. You shouldn't be late without informing the examinee.

I have tested all my equipment an hour ahead as advised.

I was using my company provided laptop's camera. Which was working on the PeopleCert-Exam site & Windows Settings.

The examiner told me it wasn't working on his end when I share my screen. After a bit of troubleshooting and refreshing their client, I had to inevitably restart my device.

After confirming that will not void my exam, I did. It took me 3-5 minutes to rejoin as the reboot was rather slow. When I rejoined, no one was in the room.

A new examiner showed up after 10 minutes and handled the rest of my exam.

Overall the examination experience wasn't too bad but the painful wait coupled with technical problems did cause a bit of stress.

PropleCert website was easy to use - Starting from updating profile, uploading government ID, testing exam prerequisites, and launching the exam. The exam page too was simple, easy to navigate, responsive throughout the exam. Proctor was clear and responsive during the exam.

I recently passed my ITIL certification exam, and the training and practice materials from PeopleCert were extremely helpful throughout my preparation journey. The content was clear, well-organized, and closely aligned with the exam requirements. The practice tests helped me build confidence and identify areas for improvement. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I would highly recommend PeopleCert to anyone preparing for an ITIL certification.

The exam was well organized, with a clear and straightforward registration process and an easy-to-follow exam experience. The proctor spoke very good English, and all instructions were communicated clearly and were easy to understand.

Remote training is super convenient and allows for maximum information retention, imho. The instructor was great & able to keep the class and delivery of course content flowing smoothly.

PeopleCert exams and the technical requirements are easy to follow, with a smooth and best-in-class candidate & portal experience. The online proctors are supportive, easy to contact.

It was easy to navigate through the application and the exam support representative was excellent.

Whilst the exam itself was okay, I didn’t quite appreciate the amount of room preparation required for the proctoring process. It sounded quite different from the experiences colleagues have shared with me, so it seems there isn’t a particularly consistent standard being applied.

I am also curious about the cost of obtaining a paper copy of the certificate. Having already paid for the course and exam, it feels excessive to be charged an additional £52 for a printed certificate. At that price, one might reasonably wonder whether it’s gold-plated! While I understand there may be administrative and production costs involved, the fee does seem disproportionately high given the overall investment already made.

Very good and easy to take the exam

The new Web Base Engine is Accessible and having done a half dozen or so exams on the new platform it is certainly better for visual use than ExamShield was. Materials are downloadable (as .pdf or on Bookshelf), so great for Acessibility and portability on tablets, so great for preparation and self-paced study. The exam and proctor steps are simple if you read in advance and prepare. Not had a bad exam experience yet and I am hard to impress.

The course itself was excellent, with a knowledgeable live instructor delivering the sessions online. The accompanying offline materials were also useful and well presented.

However, I was disappointed that a significant number of questions in the exam did not appear to be covered either during the course or in the provided study materials. A few weeks later, a colleague who had completed a different course through the same provider raised exactly the same concern. When this issue was questioned, the response felt dismissive rather than addressing the underlying problem.

Given that the course cost over £1,000, I believe students should reasonably expect the training and materials to prepare them adequately for the associated examination. This raises serious questions about the alignment between the course content, study materials, and exam.

I hope PeopleCert will review this issue, as learners are making a significant financial investment and deserve better transparency and preparation.
