Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. I purchased this product specifically to convert an EPUB file to a PDF since their website said it converted EPUBs and supported file sizes up to 500 MB. The program did not convert my 240 MB file, online or the desktop version. I contacted customer service and they did not help with a fix and would not refund. "The description says "Increase file size per task up to 500 MB". For processing large files you can use PDF Candy Desktop.
According to our Refund Policy (https:link) we reserve the right to decline the refund requests if
-user demands a refund immediately after buying the software."
I cancelled but my money is wasted and I still don't have the file converted.

cant find a number to call for a refund or cancel subscription. very disappointed. upgraded for a version that did not upload files as was shown in loading bar to my gmail account. shady af. 50 dollar loss. now will report asa fraud.

HERE IS MY RESPONSE TO PDFCANDY.
PDFCandy is owned by Icecream Apps Ltd and located in Cyprus. That puts everything in perspective for me as a CEO who ran luxury companies between Europe and the US for years. As far a TRANSPARANCY, there is NOTHING transparent about PDFCandy, if there were, it would not have taken PDFCandy ten (10) months to reply, and if PDFCandy was transparent, they would not have signed their reply “The PDFCandy Team”,
hiding behind a company name is NOT transparent, no matter how one looks at it… Signing ones’ name IS. And just so it is on the record, when I contacted PDFCandy to get help, the person ‘hiding’ behind the computer really bullied me. My response to that untransparent person was “go bully someone else”. I lost $99 but I will never have to interact with PDFCANDY again – how lovely! and as I said in my original review about the Law of Karma, “The ONLY thing one can get from this life on Earth is what one gives'. whatever we give is what we will receive in return”.
I now have a super PDF and it is completely free and works beautifully! No tricks, no scams, just good TRANSPARANT business.

In 2022 I paid $99 for a lifetime membership to PDF CANDY. I could NEVER get any help and the conversion from PDF to WORD was dreadful!. I tried everything to reach them and get help, no such luck. I just deleted PDF CANDY from my computer. CANDY PDF took my money and offered NOTHING. So, found a FREE excellent PDF which I have been using since. Several days ago, I went onto the PDF CANDY site logged-in and tried to convert a document. Immediately a pop up was blasted in my face to try the PRO version. I thought I had the PRO version, I had paid $99 for it...No, I was wrong, This was for another version and PDF CANDY wanted ANOTHER $99! S E R I O U S L Y?! . PDF CANDY is a total rip-off and the customer service is NON EXISTENT.
P.S. - today Monday March 4, 2025 I received from Icecream apps who owns PDF CANDY and yes, they told me my licence number was for an older version and to get the PRO I would need to spend another $99. Seriously... fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. But the good news is that this life principle works and effects EVERY ONE ON EARTH. Here it is 'The ONLY thing one can get from this life on Earth is what one gives'. So, whatever we give is what we will receive in return. It really makes one stop before doing.

DO NOT buy from this company. alot of their options for edits DO NOT work! I purchased it to give it a try because I wanted another option from SEDJA, which does work...But wanted to try something else also.
The Flattening option didn't work AT ALL, so I immediately tried to cancel and these people WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY.
This company is trying to force me to send them my personal laptop information and I absolutely REFUSE.

Great app. I've been using for quite awhile. I had to upgrade my computer to one that would run Windows 11 so needed to reauthorize my pro account, it took a couple of days but I was treated very professionally as the process was completed. Very pleased am I!

PDF candy is a great program
PDF candy is a great program. contains all the tools we need. Support is also great. Resetting the license key was dont very fast, after explaination why we want a reset. Only pitty it is not a life time upgrade, or at least 1 major upgrade version should be include.

GRIFTERS - DO NOT TRUST
DO NOT TRUST a company that doe not honor lifetime licenses. No clause in their EULA that states you will lose access to desktop versions after buying a lifetime license. In order to use v3.*, v4.*, etc. you have to purchase ANOTHER license or subscription.
Avoid their parent company Icecream Apps as well.
UPDATE 12/8/25 - Of course you can’t find my costumer record. I’m not using my billing info on TrustPilot. I’ve already communicated with your support. You folks are the one choosing not to honor lifetime licenses with no courtesy to correct your anti-consumer policy.

Having tried the free version first my 2 sample shots were over before I had really figured the system out and I was no longer allowed to save the edited document. I decided however to purchase the monthly plan as I wanted to be able to cancel after 1 month if it wasn't very good. This did not give me what I needed as the information wasn't as clear as it could be. I was helped to see my error and then spent days emailing back and forwards to get what I did need. Candy eventually cleared my account so that I could make the correct purchase but by this time I was exhausted with their poor assistance in remedying the situation. Their reply's were too brief and not helpful really; they were more dismissive than helpful. I did not spend enough time using Candy to see if it would have been ok due to the poor admin service. As others here have said there is an absolute refusal to giving a refund even though they messed me about for days as their system prevented me from making a purchase. Yes the original error was mine ( even though their information could have ben clearer) but the rest was theirs.

They refuse to refund no matter the issue. Their capability is too limited, license is only for 1 computer with NO transfer ability. When you express discontent and ask for a refund, they deny you no matter the reason quoting the EULA that no one reads.
