I have tried many payment providers in the past, but I can honestly say that none have been :- As easy to talk to, as clear with fees and payments and none previously have allowed SIPP payments. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Paystream used to be great however, more recently I have found they’re careless as an umbrella company for contractors. When you change contracts, as contractors often do, they mess up and have you down as doing two contracts resulting being placed on an emergency tax code by HMRC, when in reality one contract has concluded and you’ve started a new contract. I’ve had this happen a few times now despite me updating Paystream. I have also had them allocate wages to the incorrect tax week and then ask me to repay money?? to correct their payroll errors. In reality they simply need to realign the payment date FPS with the tax month. Most payroll systems have correction features that automatically fix the tax weeks and submit the correct data to HMRC. Avoid at all cost would be my advice and use a competent umbrella company. With Paystream you end up having to constantly review your pay NI/Tax deductions. I don't know how they are FCSA accredited as compliance isn't Paystream forte is my experience of them.

No issues, straightforward, compliant

Great payroll company. Easy to work with, clear system to file your timesheets, and when you had a question, easy to speak to a human to resolve things. Would happily use again.
