I adopted a Bernedoodle puppy several months ago and the process was wonderful. I actually picked up my puppy so I was provided information to contact the breeder and we coordinated a pickup time and place. We met March 6, 2025 and I named him Frodo Mizu. He is wonderful, fun,loving and very smart! Thank you for a great experience and wonderful addition to the family!

I do not recommend Pawrade. This is not a “puppy concierge” service as concierge imply exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Each contact with my “concierge” feels like an inconvenience in asking for updates on the puppy I purchased three weeks ago. I have repeatedly asked for updates in the interim between the time of purchase and my pickup. I have only received helpful responses when I communicate with one particular person assigned to me, amongst the 5 people I have been in contact with since my purchase… This is the least direct line of communication I’ve ever experienced and will never do again.

We are so sorry to hear that you are not happy with our communication. Especially when that is so contrary with what most of our clients post. I have reviewed all the written communication and your requests in the message center. While there certainly are some delays in getting new pictures, puppy weight, etc. it is important to remember that the majority of our breeder's are regular folks with all the normal daily obligations such as full time jobs, families, kids, etc. This sometimes can cause a delay when requesting additional information and media from them. Though not as expedient as may be ideal for you I do see that all your requests have been met and I have asked our staff to pay special attention to your account. I sincerely apologize that the process has not met your expectations.

Pawrade's marketing and attention to detail are very good. Their website is user friendly and their advice is excellent. The only hesitation I have is their verification process -- they ask me for an action, I complete it, then they require me to verify that I've completed it. Seems like overkill to me,

Not sure what to think
Just a heads up: this company often requests that negative reviews be removed, which explains their unusually high ratings. Unfortunately, my personal experience was somewhat disappointing.
First, they required a copy of my driver’s license. I was hesitant but complied, only to later learn that this sensitive information isn’t securely stored. It appears to end up on employees’ personal computers, where it can be shared freely. Even after receiving my puppy, I never received confirmation that my information was securely handled or deleted. It’s unsettling to think that a disgruntled ex-employee could still have access to hundreds of customers’ IDs.
Another major concern is transparency about their breeders. The company insists they don’t work with puppy mills yet offers no real proof. They claim to send representatives for inspections, but provide no evidence of this. Many of their breeders are Amish, and that community unfortunately has a poor track record when it comes to humane breeding practices.
Finally, the representative I spoke with was surprisingly open about how often puppies become sick during transport from breeders to new owners. Although my puppy arrived healthy, and she is adorable, the entire process felt off, especially given how expensive it was.
Next time, I’ll adopt from a shelter or buy from a local pet store. There are plenty of wonderful puppies out there without all this uncertainty.

Noni, your "review" is very confusing. First, let me point out that you state your puppy "arrived healthy, and she is adorable", yet the rest of your post is about problems that you think you could have had but didn't.
You also state that we "requests that negative reviews be removed, which explains their unusually high ratings". What is your source for this? Because it simply is not true. Logically, if someone had a poor experience, being asked by the cause of the poor experience to remove the posting is not something they would do. If we asked you to remove this, would you?
We use the Stripe Identity Verification process. Stripe is the largest, most well respected payment processor in the world. This is how we make sure that the purchase is legitimate, that the customer is actually who they say they are and there is no fraud or identity theft taking place. Stripe does ask for your ID and a "selfie" as well.
We carefully vet all of our breeder's, ensuring they are fully licensed and inspected and have no violations by any licensing agency and have never been charged with any animal related issues. We do have Amish breeder's. They are subject to the same stringent requirements. We would never take into account anyone's religion when determining if they are a quality breeder. Not only would this be incredibly bigoted, but also illegal. I am sure that is not something you would condone. We would never allow a horrible stereotype to color our judgement of any individual in any way.
Your representative was surprisingly open? Well, no, its not surprising. We operate with integrity and transparency. It is not uncommon (5% or so) for pups to get "carsick" which can lead to very temporary vomiting and possibly loose stool. We are very upfront about this, in fact we send it to every customer in writing as well. We also include detailed instructions how to treat the pup so that they recover very quickly.
We do thank you for choosing Pawrade. And we are so happy that your pup arrived happy and healthy just as we promise, and work so hard for. Best wishes for many fun filled days to come with your new furry family member.
