Very basic and if you have already…
Very basic and if you have already completed reconnect to life, it’s very patronising and basic. Great if you have no understanding and not educated in your own health condition. With fibro, it’s just another “doctor” saying “it’s all in your head and move more”. People either CFS and fibro WANT to move more but can’t… Felt even more demoralised after completing than I did before starting it.

Good at explaining pain mechanism
Good at explaining pain mechanism. Relaxation and stretching exercises are good. Videos rather wooden

Absolutely amazing this course I have learnt so much about my pain and how I can make life more comfortable for myself thank you so much I appreciated doing this course
This course was easy to sign up to
This course was easy to sign up to. It contains useful information and I like the relaxation classes. I also like the fact that all the information goes into a library that you can refer back to when needed.
However I have done 2 very similar programmes like this before in groups and I think that works far better as online there is no one to have discussions with.
I am continuing to use the tools given but not much has changed in my pain.

Learning about pain and how to deal with it.
An effective way to learn more about, and deal with pain issues.

The course was interesting in 3/4 of the information and guided sessions, most was constructive but some of the videos I found very monotone and had to watch a couple of times as hearing not great, I found the medication section frustrating as it didn’t really help me, the relaxation and meditation section were very helpful and greatly appreciated, although the most of it I quite often put in to practice the breathing the training your brain to rethink the pain I found frustrating. But the pacing and breathing and redirecting my thoughts to positives was also helpful
Overall a positive experience
I liked the presentation of the program and got some good strategies for managing my pain. I was already doing some things very similar to some of the suggestions. Overall, a positive experience.
Well worth following
Overall review of causes and types of pain is useful. Presentation of pathways for relief is clear and encouraging. Stopping points and provision of the Library makes it easy to refresh, check exercises and practise the meditations. I look forward to working through the programme again.

Help to overcome fears.
The course gave me the courage to push myself forward with exercises without worrying about doing any damage to my back. I also found the Mindfulness helpful as I’m not very good at relaxing. Having completed the course i feel that I have made progress and have the tools to take things forward.
Great experience very helpful

I found it refreshing to have information given about different techniques I can use for putting me back in the driving seat so I am able to control my body with out using heavy drugs to control the day to day pain
A good mixture of techniques.
I found the course to be very easy to follow, everything is explained very clearly. I have felt some benefit from the relaxation techniques and meditation. I am hoping that I will get some long term results from following the exercises. I finished the course in the expected time even though I had a lot of days when I really wasn't up to doing any of it.
