The barrel has an H pressed into the end where the bolt carrier meets the barrel extension. It looks to be a mark from the barrel manufacture. When the mark was pressed into the barrel it left a raised ridge around the H that damaged the face of my $270 Lantac bolt carrier group. The coating on the BCG is chipped now due to the sloppy finish of the barrel end. This is the first PSA AR upper I've purchased and I got to say it's a big disappointment

Don't worry about the gift card, because I'll never step foot or spend another cent in one of your stores again. I'll be sure to tell everyone that brings up PSA about my experience. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, maybe the pictures of your product will cost you guys a thousand customers. It must be nice to be such a big company that you just don't care about customer service anymore.

I tried to order a thousand rounds of ammunition the only thing that I could get from them was that they're automated fraud department canceled my order they didn't try to contact me or anything else like that I've been getting the runaround for an entire day nobody can tell me anything and it's always going to be 24 to 48 hours before anybody will get in touch with me by way of email they won't even pick up the phone apparently that's too much effort so if you're purchasing anything online I highly recommend that you go someplace else they're not worth your time and you're definitely not going to get enough bang for your buck

They sell some stuff that is great. They also sell junk. I purchased 4 .308 magazines and all 4 are not good. Once you hit half capacity the rounds fall out. I have tried 4 times to leave a 1 star review for the item and palmetto will not post it. So buyer be ware on anything on there site. Because this tells me that they refuse to post negative reviews making all the stuff they sell appear better than what it is.

I placed an order using a dealer with an FFL, that was down the street and is highly reputable in my area. I was contacted by PSA and informed that they are on their list of FFLs to do not do business with. I was directed towards their preferred FFL holders, where most of them could not be found on Google maps, and the addresses associated with them, went to sketchy looking houses on dead end streets, sketchy looking businesses, some of which I have drove past numerous times wondering if they’re even open. Either way, after trying to update my address by emailing the original person who contacted me, calling and speaking to an actual person who reviewed the list with me and entered the information, and doing it through the automated customer service, where I updated the delivery information…, it still never got corrected…, and ultimately got canceled.
Most of my emails went without response, and at some point my password stopped working and I couldn’t get into my account. As of now, I have money tied up into an order that one person is saying is ready to be shipped, while emails are saying it has been canceled. I did not get a great first impression working with them.

Pretty poor experience buying almost $1,500 worth of firearms and ammo from this company. I absolutely would never purchase from them again. First, they had a major glitch with their online system. Imagine checking out online with your full order, but upon hitting the final purchase button, it runs your credit card for 1/3 the amount your agree to purchase and removes 2/3 of the items from your cart. It doesn't say "those items are no longer available" and let you decide if you still want to buy from them, it decides for you. Then I waste time calling customer service which results in directions to reorder two firearms that were affected by the above issue. Done. OK, things happen, nut now it's resolved. Nope! They charge me for both, and then days later send me a cancellation notice for 1 of the 2 guns. I call again and tell them "just cancel both" because now I would need to go to find the cancelled fun elsewhere, go to two different FFL's, and pay for different background checks. The answer "well, it's been too long for us to cancel the order" - But I called you immediately after you cancelled on me - "um hmm." I will never be purchasing from them again and recommend you don't waste your time unless you like turning online purchases into customer service nightmares.

I ordered a third party pistol from PSA and was under the assumption that it would fire when I received it. I picked it up from the FFL, took it out and it would not fire. Discovered the firing pin was broken. Called customer service and was told that I should have received a working firearm and to send pics in of the issue. I could have returned it had I not transferred it to myself from the FFL. How does one know it works till you fire it, and to do that I had to transfer it to myself. I sent in the pics and was told that Palmetto will have nothing to do with it, and to contact the manufacturer. I did and was told that the weapon was to old to have parts for it. I again called PSA and the customer service reps are very nice, but was again told nothing they can nor will do besides offer me a $25 refund. In total I called PSA three times and twice was told that I should receive working items, of which I agree with. I now have an old paperweight due to not being able to find a firing pin. PLEASE check any used weapon purchased from Palmetto. All they had to do was fire it one time prior to sending it to me and all of this would not have been an issue. Customer service reps are polite, but the rest of the situation sucks. I would love for a rep to contact me with an actual solution not the "We are not responsible for third parties" jargon. The one that gets burnt in the end is the user who trusts the company they purchase from. Poor service in this situation.
They only shipped half the order and when I finally got ahold of someone they offered me $25 which is nowhere close to what it would cost to replace what was missing

Excellent American company. Their actual PSA products are top notch and their sale prices are unbelievable. They ship quickly and are a great place to do biz
Called customer service to find out why psa wouldn't allow me to place orders and was told the people in finance would look into the issue and get back with me. That was 2 weeks ago. Heck with psa. Just trying to spend money lol.
First, getting in touch with customer service was a joke. they did not call me back or reach out after i sent emails and contact forms from there website. I decided to calI. The Item I purchased from them was a flat faced trigger and what I received from them was a curved trigger in the flat face trigger packaging. I asked them to replace the incorrect part with the right one I paid for. I was met with silence. I received an email saying, "Thanks for your response at this time I do show that this isn't a PSA product so I can offer you a credit for the incorrect item per our policy" I have the receipt and website image of the trigger I purchased. what?? credit?? why not replace with the correct trigger I paid for, or at the least refund me my money?. I see this as a scam of sorts. I have not heard back as of today. Let me also say I was a customer of 12 years.
meanwhile the boilerplate of the customer service email says...
If this is item not manufactured by Palmetto State Armory or our sister companies a refund must issued.
it says it right there...wow

I called customer service to talk about the RMA they sent me with no directions and Palmetto State Armory has still yet to define what the terms will be. I originally asked for a return or replacement of the part I originally ordered. I was told by customer service in writing that I will only be allowed store credit. That was not good enough for me since I was in the window for a full return per Palmetto State Armory Policy. Let me say, the phone call I had today with customer service was even more horrendous. absolutely disgusted with Palmetto State Armory.
This could have been avoided with a simple phone call, Yet I was forced to follow up with Customer service and the person was extremely rude. I will just take the loss and in turn i will let everyone know about my terrible experience with Palmetto State Armory.

10 days later still processing. Coworker order 3 days after me and already shipped. Charged my card immediately though so they got their money.

Customer service robots, might be a week after you order before they cancel because they never had the product to begin with

I tried to order from them this evening; the website prevented that. Then, the rest of the company piled on. Let me explain:
I got an email from them announcing a sale of 9mm ammo. OK, good deal. I put it in my cart then went to log in, that's when the fun started.
First, the site wouldn't let me log in, it kept cycling through the two-factor authentication; when I made it through with it saying ok, it then went back to the TFA loop and I couldn't make it any further.
I went to the chat button, but it refused to launch (I'm an IT specialist, don't tell me to turn off ad blockers and all that, I give that sort of advice at work).
I then went to contact them through their help site. It refused to let me enter a question since I didn't have an order number, but those guys had cleverly prevented that earlier, so no joy.
I called the help line and got a true Artificial Idiot; it couldn't do anything, not even take a voice mail.
I finally found an email, using an AI agent to dig it up; I sent them a note and got an auto-reply saying that they didn't monitor the box.
So, the issue here is not so much not being able to order tonight, it's the appearance of actively denying customer service. There are plenty of other suppliers selling exactly the same product they do at the same prices; customer service counts and they failed on every count. Our relationship is over, they've given me no reason to stay and several to leave.
Congratulations.
Edit: Oh, good, you're going to review it with upper management, the same folks that - if they're upper management - put these policies in place. I won't be holding my breath waiting for your good intentions; you burnt that bridge quite thoroughly.

Over the weekend I used my card at various stores, B King firearms, AR15 Discounts with no issue whatsoever.
I also ordered from PSA during the same time frame, here's what happened-
PSA Armory flagged my 33-dollar order of a Luth .750 adjustable gas block citing-
"Our internal fraud assessment system has flagged your order #12122665274 as a potential fraudulent transaction."
Without contacting me at all, my order was canceled, refunded, and I was flagged and blocked from the website.
I called customer service and told them I made the order. There were no issues with me, my card, my info, or finance institution, they made the call, to call me a criminal trying to fraud them.
They then sent me an email citing-
"We apologize for the error in canceling it and are glad to inform you that the "block on your account" has been lifted.
Basically, they called me a criminal and a fraudster, and without contacting me first canceled the order, refunded my money, and blocked me from the website.
Then had the gull to say-
"glad" to inform you that the block on your account has been lifted". And proceeded to tell me to re-order the item.
(Like I should be "Glad" I was called a criminal and glad I didn't commit fraud, like I should be "Glad" they are allowing me to spend my money, keeping them in business).
They should be the ones who are "Glad" that I was a law-abiding customer in the first place, and they should be glad, I was willing to spend the extra few marked up bucks to buy it from them, in the first place.
They should be grateful to me, by sending me the part for free to compensate for their mistake, as to no fault of my own "I was called a criminal, order canceled, money refunded, blocked from their website, and inconvenienced".
And, not to mention, the mental anguish of basically being called a criminal that this has caused a law-abiding 2A citizen.
Do yourself a favor shop at B King Firearms, MCSgearup, or AR15 Discounts, they never flagged me for fraud.

I am satisfied with the overall quality and pricing of the merchandise I have purchased. However, their shipping is very, very slow. This is especially true if you are ordering firearms. 15 BUSINESS days = 21 calendar days before the item is even shipped plus an additional 3 or 4 days for receipt. This would seem to suggest stocking issues with firearms, or they mostly resell for 3rd parties.

I purchased a new Beretta A300 Patrol from Palmetto State Armory’s online store. I’ve been a loyal PSA customer for years, so I had every reason to trust this purchase. After picking it up from my FFL, I brought it home to clean and inspect it before my first range trip. That’s when I discovered the extractor plunger was jammed into the bolt, leaving the extractor loose and the shotgun completely unable to extract shells.
I immediately contacted PSA, expecting the kind of customer service they’ve always claimed to provide. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I needed to contact Beretta. I reached out to Beretta, provided detailed photos, and requested a replacement bolt. Rather than offer a simple fix, Beretta insisted I ship the entire firearm to them for repair with an estimated turnaround of 8–10 weeks.
That policy is unreasonable. I had a trip planned around this purchase, which I had to cancel entirely because PSA refused to take responsibility for selling a defective firearm. I understand manufacturer warranties exist, but a brand-new firearm that arrives broken should be handled by the retailer — not pushed off on the customer to deal with a slow, bureaucratic process.
PSA’s approach in this situation demonstrates willful blindness and lack of accountability. It left me with no functional firearm, wasted time, and the sense that I was being taken advantage of. I ultimately had to pay a licensed gunsmith out of pocket to repair the firearm myself, because waiting months for a fix was simply not feasible.
Edit: They replied to this, stating that it's not allowed, posturing as if it's against the law, but again, it's just their bad policy that exposes their customers to this kind of situation. You take advantage of trust, and that's a problem.
Just to clarify, under federal law, specifically 27 CFR § 478.147 (“Return of firearm”), a licensed dealer is permitted to take back a firearm and return it to the customer — or provide a replacement firearm of the same kind and type — as long as all federal, state, and local laws are followed.
In other words, while exchanges and refunds ultimately depend on the dealer’s individual policy, there’s no federal law that prevents a properly licensed FFL from taking back or replacing a defective firearm, provided all required transfer procedures (like Form 4473 and NICS check) are completed.
