Wow, I just received my pacsafe bag. This feels like the Garrison of Bags. I can’t wait to use it. Also the idea that it was made in an environmentally friendly way with recycled materials has massively impressed me.

Excellent quality and well made and designed, as per. I finally mastered the knack of opening the dock lock! Took a while! Trick is to squeeze a little way outside the actual piece itself. Really loving my bag on its first outing. Just feels fab!

The Sling Pack
When I first looked at the Sling Pack it was out of stock so I used the update email section. Within a week the company contacted me to say they had the colour I wanted, I got 10% off for first purchase and then sat back and waited. Even though I had ordered on a Friday afternoon it arrived the following Wednesday. It was packaged well so no damaged and last but not least the bag itself, it is amazing. The bag looks smart, the material is really good and the stitching. The zips are all chunky and well made even a lock on one of them, the stitching is neat inside and out of the bag, the padding on the body side of the bag means it does not rub and all the pockets are just the right size for the things you might need while travelling - I would recommend this particular bag to anyone first class workmanship extremely pleased

Not keen on the zipper locks.
The overall idea is good, the bag is the right size for my requirements and I like the fact it expands, although another internal pocket would be welcome for more easily organising stuff.
Some of the security features are good, but the secured zip tab is irritatingly fiddly to use, and the dock lock, though preferable, is not much better, and the magnetic catch feels too weak.
My old Pacsafe bag (a mini one from 15 or 20 years ago) had a much better system, which was easy for me to access on a frequent basis but at the same time would have been very difficult for someone to pickpocket. This comprised a normal zip, with a flap over the top which was held down by some Velcro, and then also a catch hidden underneath that had to be pulled down quite hard (counter-intuitive for a pickpocketer) before lifting the flap upwards. Brilliantly simple but effective! Please bring this fastening back.

We also completely understand your comments around the zip security and dock lock. Our current designs are intentionally made to add a level of “delay” to access, which helps deter opportunistic pickpockets, but we recognise this can sometimes feel a little fiddly in everyday use. Finding the right balance between security and convenience is always key.
It’s especially helpful to hear your experience with your previous Pacsafe bag, that fastening system sounds like it worked really well for you. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable, and we’ll be sure to share it with our design team as we continue to evolve our products.

After the company originally sent me the incorrect bag ( they sent the correct backpack to me registered post) I have been very impressed with my anti theft backpack.
It was comfortable to wear even after many hours of plane, train and walking.
It is roomy and fitted documents, my phone and toiletries comfortably. It has an excellent locking system and space for a water bottle. It is a bag I hope to use for many future trips
