Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Bought a ride on Range Rover for my little girl and after a handful of uses the steering wheel came off and all the wires were snapped. After numerous emails back and forth they continued to tell me that it is my fault as steering wheels break regularly because people lift the car by the wheel! We have NEVER lifted it! Also my daughter doesn’t use the steering wheel because she is too young we use the remote to control it. The person responding to my emails was rude and refused to contact me by phone to discuss. Avoid this company!

Would never order again, thieves.

I cancelled my order for a ride on land rover just hours after ordering, I received a refund but it was £50 short.
I was told it’s as too late for a full refund and I had to cover cost of shipping.
The item didn’t even reach my house as I cancelled very soon after ordering.
Also my shipping cost was £0 so as per the terms and conditions my return shipping should be £0.

ordered a ride on Lamborghini for my grandson, unfortunately the wire on the steering wheel was spilt
(no fault of Outsideplay)
I emailed outside play and received a replacement within 2 days. I would just like to say from ordering to receiving the car was a pleasure and their customer service is outstanding. If you’re thinking of ordering from here, go for it, you wont be disappointed. A****

Disappointed child!

Disappointed child!!

We purchased a ride on car for my son for Christmas, generally the product itself is ok, but the cosmetics are diabolical.

The stickers didn’t line up and looked to have scalpel marks where the stickers had be sliced to fit and therefore are lifting. The stickers are ALL peeling off within a weeks use and the car hasn’t been outside yet.

The response from the customer service team was to warm the stickers with a hair dryer and try and re-stick as they aren’t covered under the warranty!

I should of listened to the reviews and avoided this company, I wish I had paid the extra at Smyths.

I brought a Ford mustang for my daughter for Christmas due to her being 2 I didn't get round to opening and building till Christmas eve when I opened the box the cars door and bumper and side skirt all looked like pulled at plastic and had marks all over it all I got when I emailed in was on well nothing we can do ! Will never go back there again!!!

Disgusting customer service

I ordered an electric motorbike for my sons Christmas present back in October to be organised before I gave birth to twins. When I finally got round to building the motorbike some weeks later I find that there are cracks to the mud guard and part of the motorbike was snapped underneath meaning it was not fit for purpose! When I emailed outside play they said that as I hadn’t told them about this damage within 48hrs after delivery there was nothing they could do! I am beyond angry as now I have to fork out for another electric motorbike for my son as it’s what he’s set his heart on for Christmas

Had My Car delivered today came really quickly the quality of the ride on toy was great. Overall I'm very happy with the speedy delivery and the cheap price on Black Friday and have already recommended to my cousin who has since ordered and received her car too

Disgusting customer service ordered a Black hilux ride on for Christmas and was sent a white one!! spent over two days trying to resolve the situation via the company’s only contact method (email) only to just keep going around in circles I simply wanted it exchanged for the correct colour that I ordered..; not difficult right?? “so you would think” at first they said there is no black ones only for me to see they do as they have live stock on there site when I caught them out on this suddenly o they did have some available but they want to collect the white one first so could I just re fix the very large box to the giant heavy pallet then take a photo then store what’s supposed to be a big surprise in my hallway away from my kids until it can be picked up once this is all done and we have confirmed receipt then we will arrange a 2nd delivery to drop the black one off…righhht ok we have all heard this bullc***p before haven’t we given that this will practically take us to Christmas Eve given the time it took to get the 1st one here and also this will then be three days off work just to obtain what I have ordered to begin with..because of this I have refused and insisted that I want a same time exchange done why would this be a problem if you do indeed intend on exchanging it I ask ?given it will save delivery costs etc for the firm and most of all to keep the customer happy and save all these bad reviews am now having to dish out 🤔well as we have all experienced with these 2 bit rip off companies the right one will never turn up guaranteed and your kid will be left with no Christmas present am now having to have the transaction reversed with the bank in order to purchase the right colour elsewhere in time for Christmas Day a lot of hassle and stress that I do not need at this busy time of year avoid avoid avoid

I’d give 0 if i could

I’d give 0 if i could. Absolute shhhh1t show of a business. Appalling customer service. Ordered a Bentley continental for my daughter for Christmas, built the car to ensure no parts were missing and in fully working order before giving as a Christmas present. Seat is buckled and does not align with back of the car. No caps for the leather seat where the screws go through so it just looks so unfinished, not something you expect when you pay a high end price for something and to top it off it has a missing wing mirror. I contact the company to complain in which I get no response to my email, I go online to chat and they advise they send a replacement out. 2 weeks on still no receipt of replacement part. I contact them again to advise I have still not received the part, in which they then tell me that it was posted, they have no more in stock and no longer have that vehicle in stock so I will need to take the vehicle apart put it all back in the box ready to be returned. I ask them for tracking info w/o which they tell me they posted the replacement part in an envelope with a stamp. What shape is that. There is no way I’m able to dismantle the vehicle and pack it all back the same way it was delivered.

JOKE OF A COMPANY.

£300 for a kids electric car, with a missing wing mirror, buckled seat and a leather seat showing the foam insert. SHOCKING!!!

Great Price and Good, Quick customer service

Having found a great price for my Berg Buggy I went ahead with an order even though had not heard of the company before.
Order arrived very promptly, with also a good auto reply reminding to check product asap after delivery.
Upon opening I had a query about a missing part. Emailed and had a reply very quickly saying they had checked a similar product and appeared that it was instructions with the issue. Also sent me a link to a install video which helped me with with assembly.
Was great to have this quick turnaround for support and allowed me to quickly build and then hide the present.
Would use again for future presents.

BUYER BEWARE-THIS COMPANY WILL SELL YOU INFERIOR PRODUCTS AND DRAG OUT THE WARRANTLY PERIOD TO AVOID REFUNDING YOU!

We bought a ride on jeep as a large joint present for our children last December. The jeep was assembled and given to them on Christmas Day last year. It was used for about 10-15 minutes by small children for 5 days until on the 30th December after light use it started to smell strongly of plastic quickly followed by a horrendous grinding noise and then failed to work atall. You can only imagine the disappointment!
We wrote immediately to the company, who were unreasonably slow to respond. There were lots of automated messages about it being the holiday period (understood) followed by a vague response which we had to chase several times. They caused further delays by asking for a lot of technical questions about parts which were difficult to answer (unless you are actually a mechanic) and required us to take everything apart again to get the exact photo required as it was never quite good enough.
Anyway, they dragged out sending any replacement parts for a very long time, but eventually by the summer we had two new motors which we fitted and seemingly the jeep worked…. We used it again quite sporadically, probably 4 times or so where it worked ok but occasionally cut out for no reason.
Then the last time, our youngest son who is 2 was in the jeep and I was controlling it with the remote control. We used it lightly on flat ground for 5-10 minutes before I took it back to the garage which involves me parking it, so a few backwards and forwards manovres. This was obviously too much for it and it suddenly started to go forwards without either of us pressing any buttons. I removed him swiftly from the vehicle and switched it off but when switched back on it again went forward swiftly and completely without any instruction from us. Again there was a strong smell of plastic and a loud grinding noise. Horrified, I videoed what was happening and sent it straight to the company.
As before, they took more than 2 months to respond and only after much chasing came back to us with a very unhelpful email that we are now out of warranty because it is more than 6 months since purchase and that apparently by accepting a replacement part previously they have “done their bit”. This is in spite of the fact that it has never actually worked for more than a couple of months (5 days in the first instance) and only by their good fortune that we did not use it much over the summer and so discover the problem sooner. However I would say the working period was in total 5 days plus about 2 months so still significantly less than the 6 months warranty and certainly not a reasonable amount of time for what was quite an expensive toy.
We could not be more disappointed by the lack of care this company has towards selling us not only a faulty but EXTREMELY DANGEROUS product which could have endangered our son’s life had we not intervened more quickly. In our opinion they have dragged out helping us in order to try and void our warranty and by their attitude it appears that once they have your money they don’t care what they sell you. AVOID the JEEP ride on it is lethal and AVOID THIS COMPANY as they won’t honour their promises!
Very disappointed but luckily uninjured children!
