Paid €160 Carcassonne to Nice. First train delayed, missed my connection train to Nice. Compensation only €12- total trip time 8-9hours instead of 6 hours. The next day return train delayed again. Missed my connection, had to stay overnight, payed for the hotel €160 - cheapest I could find. Total trip time almost 20 hours instead of 6. Worse company even.

I'm schocked.... I took a train tiquet for my trip with @SNCF. I was the only passenger to have an ID control (the only black people in the train too strange...) and because I made a mistake writting my name I've been charged 250E...
The Kremlin is more user-friendly
You might as well try to order tickets from the Kremlin. Their website is ultra user-unfriendly: just filling out the information on the passengers takes ages. Then I pay with my Visa card, the payment goes through but the SNCF website freezes. I paid twice and still received no ticket. Impossible to find a human to speak to and off course, on the website it is virtually impossible to find a simple link to ask a question. And when finally there is a number to call, you have to wait for ever after a message that "by pure coincidence it is more busy today than any other day of the year" [sarcasm off]. These people are utterly useless

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. It took me almost a year and a half to get a refund back for travel that was cancelled during the French strikes. Almost completely unresponsive, I had to send over ten emails and waited months and months for one reply. Finally got the money back but what a joke……
The biggest problem is that the emails are often replied to by someone with poor understating of English. Ok granted, it’s a French company. But that is a problem that needs to be fixed.
What a horrible company
What a horrible company, that gives contradicting information in regards to regulating a fine. If you have a railpass, but your card cannot scan, you will be fined.
" Just send them poof and you'll get a refund."
Then I received a phone call today, indicating that sense I paid, there is nothing they can do.
May they squirm with discomfort once the competition squeezes them out of importance just like France Telecom.
Very bad customer service on the train
When I took the thalys in Amsterdam everything was well taken care off. The coaches were marked on the out side with their respective numbers and each entrance to the train had staff to assist the travelers. Then when I had to switch trains in Brussels it was like a sudden change to a 3rd world country. The train switched platforms which was first announced wrong. And when it did arrive the coached were not marked with their respective numbers. There was no staff on the platform or train to assist travelers. A complete chaos. So I decided to just sit in the first coach available. When I got to Paris a french lady said I was in her seat. I tried to explain that this was not my fault but I think her English was quite limited so instead of looking for another seat she some how managed to find some staff. The staff member didn't want to admit that this situation was of their making and then didn't even want to help me move my luggage to the right coach. I'm very disappointed at the level of detail and service.

Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service! Don’t buy your Eurostar ticket with them, go directly to the Eurostar website. They don’t even tell you that you need to fill the Public Health Passenger Locator Form before you travel to UK from France, and it takes 30’ to register for the antigen test and fill the form. Many clients from OUI.sncf missed their trains because of this!
Also be careful when they sell their tickets for a cheaper price they never let you be able to exchange or get refund, if you have an unforeseen circumstance and want to change even a few days before your travel!
To finish they told me on the phone that they will refund me my train ticket that I paid full price because there was a maintenance on their website from 6am until 11am but they never replied to my email despite I sent them the screenshots and the ticket reference.
I really hope that they will become more professional and that they will improve their customer service! All the best

I recently booked to travel to Avignon by way of Eurostar and SNCF.My wife has had a stroke and has difficulty walking.Help was arranged by Eurostar and sncf.Assistance was waiting for us at London,Lille and Avignon.All staff were extremely helpful and friendly.The same applied on the return journey via the Paris stations.I would like to thank all those involved for this excellent service.

Contacted the help service via mail and no answer for one month.
I just received an email that says "For reasons beyond our control and due to exceptional operational difficulties, we were unable to respond to your email."
