I have had Ørsted.dk as my provider for my yoga & pilates studio, and they have always given great service and friendly advice. Will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Worst transparency on electricity bills. I have now received two bills where they magically come up with a number, then break it down into subcategories which are all listed as 0. Then the final sum i... See more

It was educational for both kids and adults on how to protect our planet, how energy is created and what can we do to protect our planet.
Very good initiativ and should definetly be more of those to educate ordinary citizens.
Excellent experience. Short and informative event.
Someone has to do it! And that's everybody pitching in little by little to move to sustainable energy generation.
Thanks Ørsted. Keep it up!
It was a great experience to have at Klimasafari event! We got valuable lessons when watching movies that were shown on the globe. We also got inspiration from the models displayed outside the globe.
A really nice experience. What I enjoyed the most was the short video/ documentary about our planet, the number of pollution caused and suggestions for each one of us to change the planet. In my opinion, the film could be a bit longer as I thought it to be very informative and interesting.
The activies that took place after this short film were okay, but nothing extraordinary that kept us there for too long. There were some different and interesting facts about the planet, windmills and Ørsted.
All in all, nice experience.
Very interesting presentations and create awareness on the climate change in the world. The staffs are very present and the environment was very clean. Thank you!
Wonderful presentation, they seem to be pushing more for environmental impact
Being inside a globe looking at videos playing on a smaller globe was really great. Lovely and thought provoking experience.
It was a good experience. Relatively simple to understand although everything was in danish, as expected. It was also ok to go with my 2 year old daughter.

I am a bookkeeper for 1 shop in Copenhagen. For some reason my customer does not receive the invoices from Ørsted. I contacted the company on his behalf to get the invoices sent to me. This is not happening. He called Ørsted and gave them my email address, today Ørsted answers that I have to go through "selvbetjening erhverv" to access or I need to pay an extra 40,00 kr to receive the invoice to my email. Meanwhile as we are not able to pay the faktura, they will charge "rente, gebyr".
Never experience such an incompetent handling from a company since Ørsted took over from Dong Energy.
I had an other unfortunate experience with Ørsted where an error was made in reporting the counter of one of my shop. Due to this they overcharged me and while I had a full explanation of how incorrect it was they threatened me with inkasso, RKI etc. There is no understanding, more a robotic attitude. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I have just rang up Ørsted to cancel my contract in advance and have received very helpful guidance and support on how to best achieve the cancellation so that I will have electricity until the very date of departure. Great service! Thank you. All the best, Erika

Was moving out of an apartment. Went to Ørsted's website, filled out "moving out" form. Form says "we'll call you". Surprise!-they call you once and don't leave a message. If you miss that phone call, they carry on your contract like normal and refuse to cancel the bill, even after you've moved out. Just an honest mistake (that costs the customer 5,460 DKK) I'm sure.
***Edit: FAKE NEWS, Monika. You got contacted in December, and did not call until January (our billing period ran from Oct-Dec), and sent a one line e-mail instead of trying to call again (or leaving a message), after explicitly stating "we will call you"
Anyway, the take home message is that you only get out of your electricity contract with Ørsted if they feel like calling you back, which they really don't. You've been warned.

I was pleasantly surprised by Ms, Sezan (customer service) with Orsted
For the years I have lived in Denmark, my customer service experience with most companies have been below average, and when I call a company customer service line, it is with zero expectations - their common cliche is ''sorry I can not help you! However, I am beginning to have a change of mind with my call to Orsted, Dong Energy around 09:04 am today especially with Sezan - the customer service officer that spoke with me.
I had some issues with my bills and I called to get some clarifications, I called with zero expectations of hearing ''I am sorry, I can't help you'' like other companies. Sezan was professional, patient and listened very quietly and provided a clear response that helped me understand the bill and addressed all my concerns. From the phone, you could sense her genuine intention to help a customer. This is an entirely different experience I had with Dong energy in the past, and I am indeed a very happy customer this morning.
I think Sezan's approach/style and ways of attending to a customer should be shared across Dong Energy as a best practice. She is an excellent asset to Orsted.

I rented an apartment for six months in Copenhagen. During that time I was responsible for paying the energy bill for the apartment.
Dong sends a bill every three months. I paid two energy bills and an 'overage' charge of 318 DKK. I thought that the account was paid in full and I was done.
A week later, I received yet another bill from Dong. They were trying to charge me for an additional three months of service after I moved out!
I called an got no resolution from telephone customer service (I admit - I don't speak Danish well, they could not resolve this in English) so I paid a visit to the Dong headquarters in Gentoff Denmark (wayyyyyy outside of Copenhagen). They insisted that I owed the sum even though their records showed that this new bill was for a period of time I did not reside in the apartment!
There has been no resolution with Dong and they refuse to admit that the bill was an error. I am not at all happy with this.
