Origin Mattress UK Reviews 

Recently upgraded to the medium spec mattress from the basic model from two years ago- WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT. The basic mattress is incredibly hard and we always used a Panda mattress topper. The newer one is much softer for two side sleepers, without too many weird lines that you can feel through your sheets, and has good stability between two people. The delivery came on the day I requested, though they insisted on bringing it into the house which I did not ask for and just meant they blocked the hall. Came with two pillows which are a bit hard to start with but I hope they'll relax down.

The bed frame was ordered 10 May for delivery 04 June. On 04 June informed that delivery will be pushed out to around 25 June. No compensation offered. Compensation of 10% offered only after a poor Trustpilot rating was given. June 25th no update on delivery - still delayed with date given. Tried to cancel on June 26 and that is when they tried recovery - only offering to deliver on July 1. Have decided to cancel as trust is low.

I was having a lot of problems with my back and shoulder waking up in the morning feeling like I’ve not slept at all and only had gathered a couple of hours very uncomfortable sleep. Then the day of the delivery of my mattress arrived. The very same evening I laid on the bed under the fan Because it was so Hot.

The mattress arrived on time for the courier and it was so easy to track Too. The guys carried the mattress upstairs to my master bedroom and put it right near my bed.

The instructions on the box were very clear how to unpack the mattress and it was something that I managed to do all on my own, which for a king size bed isn’t bad.

I’m just getting much better sleep now. My cat even sleeps right next to me which he stopped doing before because I fidgeted so much being uncomfortable..

Delivered on time easy to unwrap quite a firm mattress which has helped my sore back ordering the mattress was easy plenty of information as to which mattress suited

After three unsuccessful 200 day mattress trials with other brands, we have found our bed of dreams! Origin mattress literally feels like you're laying on a firm, supportive cloud - how is that even possible? I will never buy any other brand again. The quality of their pillows are also unmatched.

Good quality and comfortable

Nothing went wrong. Order process, delivery etc were very good. I am just not finding the mattress comfortable, my interpretation of the description was the mattress was supportive but ‘plush’ it is very firm and rather than helping my joints and sleep pattern it is making things worse. It is also very heavy which makes making the bed a nightmare. I’m hoping the returns process is as good as the order process.

We were excited when we ordered our mattress which arrived fairly quickly but that soon wore off as the mattress was very uncomfortable more uncomfortable than our old mattress. I’ve never had issues with my back, but woke up several times thee first night, unable to move due to the back pain I had to slowly roll over to just try and reposition. I wanted to return it immediately but after discussing it with my partner she said give it week or two to maybe get use to it. The sleepless nights and back pain continued onto to weeks two so I resorted to sleeping on the sofa. At this point the mattress started to sag on my side and I’m hardly a big guy weighing 82kg and so much for not being able to feel your partner move as the slightest movement from each other could be felt, the pillows were like resting your head on a 24 variety pack of crisps rustling in your ear all night, 3 weeks in and the mattress showed clear indents us both now, not what I expected for the nearly £1000 price tag! I contacted Origin which took days for a reply, they asked me to take photos of each side of the mattress as well as top and bottom before they could process the return, not so much a no hassle “no quibble return” this mattress is very heavy I can’t see many people especially the elderly managing to do that, they responded two days later asking for another photo of a white ticket which was located underneath so again I had to wrestle with the mattress to take a picture. Eventually they processed my return and arranged a date for collection and told me to have the mattress read, did I want to keep the pillows as they could deduct £196 from my refund in which I replied “I didn’t want to keep them as they were noisy” and “I thought they were a free gift” which I was told they were no longer a gift as the mattress was being returned. I had the mattress ready and the pillows bagged up and shrunk wrapped to the mattress as instructed. Two weeks later the courier arranged a date with a between 8-2 in which took the day off work, they called me to say they were 45 minutes away and was the mattress ready, I said “yes it is as instructed by Origin, the pillows are packaged no lose items” the courier asked for a photo so I sent them a photo, he called me back and said the mattress isn’t packaged in which I explained it’s ready exactly as Origin told me. He told me he’d call back and hung up, I heard nothing past 2 o’clock so I called the courier with no answer so I called there office, they told me that the collection had been cancelled as the mattress wasn’t packaged in which I replied it’s ready as I’ve been instructed I sent the courier photos and also a screen shot from Origin explaining exactly how the the mattress should be ready and all they said was it’s not packaged and they wouldn’t collect until it was. I was fuming at this point and contacted Origin who then offered me a discount to keep the mattress which I refused, they then said they’d investigate with there delivery partner a rearrange collection. Now I’m assuming the whole “no quibble return 200 night trial” is all a ploy to put people off pursuing a return if they’re not happy with it because it is a nightmare from start to finish. Only nice thing I can say about the mattress was it looked modern. Save your time and money, the mattress is uncomfortable, cheaply made and loses shape very quickly, I’ve had better nights sleep on the sofa. I’ve now purchased another branded mattress for a similar price I’ve had no back ache like I did with the Origin one…

I would say the mattress is 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4* due to my backache more or less disappearing! But there is two things that have lost a star. 1. The mattress bulges out at the sides. Always has since I got it and I'm only petite so it isn't due to my weight. 2. The fitted sheet I put on it slides all over due to the material of the mattress. I can't seem to stop it from doing it.

Never had such a good nights sleep till i slept on one of your mattresses , will certainly recommend you to my friends and family .
