Very disappointing and unacceptable experience with OrbisTickets.

We purchased two Louvre tickets for 13 July 2026, but the museum was closed due to extreme weather and we were denied entry. I contacted OrbisTickets immediately. They first promised to contact their vendor about rescheduling, but I received no answer before the requested new date had already passed.

I then requested a full refund. OrbisTickets acknowledged that the museum closure was outside our control and told me they were working to obtain a full refund. Despite several follow-ups and weeks of waiting, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK.

Nearly a month later, all I have received are excuses about waiting for their vendor, with no refund and no concrete deadline. At this point, it genuinely feels as though they are simply keeping my money and hoping I will eventually stop asking for it.

The Louvre itself confirmed that the refund must be handled through the company that sold the tickets. Other visitors who booked through different providers have already received their refunds, while I am still chasing OrbisTickets for mine.

Taking a customer's money is immediate, but apparently returning it when the service could not even be provided is another story.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding OrbisTickets. Their handling of this situation has been extremely unprofessional, frustrating, and unacceptable.
