Very happy with my new glasses and the service from Opticians Direct.

I was a little nervous ordering my glasses as don’t usually buy on line but I had heard such good things about Opticians Direct so thought I would give it a try.
Unfortunately I ordered the incorrect glasses and was getting myself into a stressful state but Opticians Direct were so patient with me and sorted it straight away offering a replacement or refund and super fast they also made me feel valued as a customer I am now busy recommending them to all my family and friends and feel more confident to order on line.

Great price and delivered when they said.
I would definitely use again.

The Persol sunglasses are excellent quality and very competitively priced. Navigating the site and placing the order was simple. The glasses should have arrived with a 24 hours period and Royal Mail sent an email that morning to confirm delivery, but in the end I waited an extra day, which I don't consider the vendor's fault. So a five star review.

Payment didn’t
Go through went into pending. No confirmation emails of sale. Rang them took 45mins on hold. They said it’ll go back into my account within 24 hours. Well 1 week later it hasn’t so did the 45min wait again they said oh it’s gone through but it’s 14 days to deliver. I said no just cancel you’ve already wasted a week and lied to me. Then the money came back within 5 days. Don’t bother if you want an easy sale

Sunglasses came at a great price, arrived well boxed and protocetid within the advised delivery period and as per the tracking notices.
A very simple transaction from a highly recommended company.

Quick delivery, good communication from both them and courier (royal mail). Needed to do a return/swap which was easy and fast, no hassle.

Exactly what I wanted and in the time frame that was sait

Ordered sunglasses for my summer holiday, was told delivery time would be 7-14 days, 3 weeks later I still had not received my order and didn’t have the sunglasses for my holiday. Limited (and not very friendly might I add) communication from the company throughout, was eventually reimbursed. Would not recommend if you need a speedy delivery, unsure whether the sunglasses would have eventually made their way to me.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, worse online experience I have ever experienced! After placing the order they took payment and I received a confirmation email to say my sunglasses would be delivered between 1-5days. 4 weeks on they still aren’t here, I haven’t had any correspondence of any form, however I have called twice, having to wait in a queue both times for an hour to eventually get to second place and then have my call disconnected. I have emailed twice with no response and now have had to go through my bank for a refund waiting up to another 50days. My bank has also attempted to contact them with no response! I always look for the best in business as I understand constraints but communication is key!

Ordering was easy and item I ordered was in stock. Communication was excellent with updates at each stage from order confirmation to despatch. Recommended seller.

Fabricated delivery updates to block cancellations of unmanufactured medical orders.I strongly warn everyone to avoid Opticians Direct LTD. This company operates like a predatory scam. I ordered prescription medical glasses, which I urgently need for my daily life and work. After a full week of waiting, my glasses were not even manufactured, let alone shipped. I checked my customer portal and discovered the order was completely stagnant on "Acquiring Frames" — meaning they did not even physically possess the frames.When I requested an immediate cancellation under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, a customer service agent explicitly lied to me via email, claiming the item was already "en route" to prevent me from cancelling. At the exact same time, she shamelessly claimed I had to wait another 5-7 working days, with absolutely no mention of lens glazing or the actual dispatch to Nottingham. This was a completely fabricated, deceptive logistics update designed to unlawfully withhold my funds.They completely ignored my formal final ultimatum and treated me with absolute contempt. The only way I forced them to return my money was by launching a heavy PayPal dispute backed by timestamped screenshots of their own database and their contradictory emails. Caught red-handed in their own system's lie, they capitulated and issued a full refund via PayPal only when backed into a corner.They are deceptive, unreliable, and completely unfit to handle urgent medical eyewear. Save your health, your nerves, and your hard-earned funds — stay far away from this company!

Everything went smooth from order to delivery spot on.

I WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM THIS WEBSITE AGAIN. The information on the website about the availability of the sunglasses and their delivery time at the time we ordered them was not clear and is misleading. We ordered sunglasses on 24 July 2026. No update on order has been given since the initial "Acquiring Your Frames" email notification. Despite trying to get an update on the order we have not been able to get through to customer services - Live Chat is "away right now", no response from customer services using the email provided and every time we've called the telephone helpline, we get cut off after 1 hour in the queue, so not been able to speak to a person. This is so frustrating, it should not be this difficult or time consuming to find out where our order is. Opticians Direct is misleading its customers on the availability of sunglasses and delivery time (if there actually is one!!). Very disappointed and will be requesting a refund.

First order came with a scratch, replacement was scratched as well, customer service was good but quality control was shit
