After careful research by my mother and I we decided on an opera bed and air flow mattress to be installed in the home of our terminally sick mum.
The whole process from ordering to delivery and instal has been smooth, well organised and stress free.
The two guys that built the bed (Rich and Darren) did a grand job of cracking on with the work under the beady eye of mum. Needless to say she was flirting with them by the time they left. So, thanks gents, for making a very sick lady feel in control of what is a big decision, having a bed built in your lounge. They brought banter and a bit of sunshine into what is an otherwise difficult situation and an uneventful, sometimes lonely life.

Very respectful. Put bed up very quickly and full demonstration with much patience since I started watching and hadn’t put my specs on! . So they had to repeat it.
Also they were only too happy to put the old bed and mattress upstairs for guests, as being 84 I certainly was not able to do that myself.

I love my new bed, it is perfect for my needs. It is comfortable and the adjustability makes it perfect. The added grab rails are sturdy and do not move at all.

The delivery and fitting was great, they arrived at the time given and the bed was quickly put together and positioned.

My mum needed an adjustable bed after becoming bed bound due to severe dementia. Although we didn’t keep the bed in the end, the whole experience with Opera Beds was as easy and stress-free as it could be given the circumstances.

Michelle looked after me from start to finish. She was considerate, compassionate and incredibly knowledgeable about the products. I placed the order shortly after our conversation and chose priority delivery. The bed arrived and was installed within days.

Unexpectedly, we no longer needed the bed a day after installation, so I arranged a return. The collection was organised within a few days and the refund followed shortly after. Despite the inconvenience this must have caused, I was never made to feel like a nuisance. Michelle remained tactful, patient and kind throughout.

The bed itself was excellent quality, especially given the very reasonable price.

In short, I cannot recommend Opera Beds highly enough. Exceptional service at a difficult time.

Ordered the bed for my mother. Short turnaround. Rich & Darren arrived when they said they would and quickly installed the product. A pleasant experience dealing with this company and I would highly recommend them to others.

Unable to visit the shop I relied heavily upon the Opera website, reviews on the internet and then telephone consultation about the products. This all proved very useful and helped me make a very successful decision as to which Motion bed and mattress to buy.
Initially I chose a soft Emporium mattress. It was so comfortable and made me feel relaxed. However, during the ten day trial period I began to realise that although my other arthritic joints felt comfortable , my arthritic back started to niggle. After further consultation I opted for the medium mattress in the same range ( in fact it was this one that I was first advised to get). The mattresses were duly swapped and I have to say that, at present, all night time aches and pains have been tamed. The mattress is very comfortable and luxuriant . I also am enjoying much better sleep, using the versatile range of bed positions. For me this was an expensive purchase so my decision wasn’t taken lightly . I am so glad that I took the plunge. Now I look forward to going to bed!
I was also impressed with the staff I spoke to and the delivery service too.

Service by Darren and Rich was outstanding, they took the old bed away, we're very tidy and got the bed set up quickly.

My new Opera bed is fantastic - I can now get out of bed easily. However, when choosing the initial mattress I did order by phone. Forgot that people with similar limitations like me who sit on the bed to get dressed that the mattress must be very firm. Tip: always try out the mattress first before you order it. With a new mattress all problems are resolved and I am very happy with my new bed!

The operatives who came to install our profile bed were punctual, friendly, professional, and informative. I can only say Rich and Darren are a credit to the firm, and well done to Opera beds for such excellent service.

Dwaine & Lukasz helped set up my bed and they were so lovely! Helped me move my stuff around as I am a wheelchair user and were very quick and thorough with the set up :) Thanks so much! The bed is lovely and perfect fit for my room.

The initial mattress we ordered was not suitable so we requested a different style of mattress within the first 7 days and this was agreed and ordered and completed within a week.

Recently purchased a solo comfort floor bed, sales staff were extremely helpful and delivery was quick, we put the bed together ourselves initially, which was relatively easy, however we didn’t read the handset element of the instructions which advised that you had to press both the up and down buttons simultaneously on the remote in order to get the bed to floor level and as it was the weekend we had to disassemble the bed, Called Opera on the Monday who were super helpful and arranged for Rich and Darren to come out, were extremely quick, super helpful and advised on all the remote features.
As an aside we get a lot of power-cuts in our area and the trouble shooting element of the instruction booklet mentions a back up battery in case of power cuts but Rich confirmed there wasn’t one on this bed so not sure if you have to purchase that separately or whether it’s not a feature of this type of bed

Highly recommend using Opera Beds, expensive but quality and customer service is beyond expectations

What a nightmare. The bed arrived over 3 weeks late. The trendelenburg feature does not work. They told us that this feature doesn't come with the bed. WHAT! A hospital bed has trendelenburg capabilities so why claim they provide a 'hospital bed'. Then they say they will send a different motor to accommodate this. The non-clinical people telling us that trendelenburg is head up feet down comes standard, which, they say is trendelenbur. WRONG, that is not trendelenburg. Still waiting for this magic motor and it has been another 3 weeks! Our father needed a quality hospital bed within a weeks time and waiting 6 weeks is unacceptable. The look isn't that great either since you have to pay thousands more to make it look like a homey bed. Don't be fooled. The extension length was granted but the mattress doesn't fit the extension so we have to use cushions and pillows so his legs don't hang off the mattress they provided. The movement is slow and god forbid you want to move the bed in two different modes at the same time, like up and down for staff and head up or down for patient. You can't do it and can't do anything in a 'hurry'. Hoping the new motor will help with all of this but it has been a delivery nightmare. Customer service basically useless! Constantly have to call them after they say 'the motor will be there xxx date', then it doesn't show up and then we call again, and again, and again. HUGE disappointment for the money.
