Rip off company do not use

I only had the policy for 5 weeks. Paid £220.62, but by the time they had taken everything off I was refunded £16.90. I retired and sold the vehicle so had no choice. Was told it’s all admin etc, cancellation etc, usage, broker and this and that. Don’t use them!!!!!

Avoid like the plague

I know they are a broker, but avoid. when I spoke to the the call handlers were nice, however Through no fault of my own I had to cancel the policy. I paid £225 for a months cover and because of admin costs etc i am getting a refund of £65 it is daylight robbery. Please do not go anywhere near them. Also it is very hard to speak to someone. I only got there number because they wanted to speak to me. online chat was rubbish I waited an hour and got cut off twice. like I've said before avoid like the plague

I bought a new van and I was trying…

I bought a new van and I was trying to change my cover from my old van to the new one I phoned for two days unable to get an answer so I had to take out temporary insurance elsewhere and as I am in my sixtys I don't understand how to contact them via email I eventually got help with this and was charged three hundred pounds and it have been more if I spoke to them other insurance companies I have speak to me when I phone and will lower the price I would never use this company most companies have a fourteen day option to leave they want half of the money to do this it's a complete rip off

Aviod at all cost

Aviod at all cost, this company is very unprofessional when dealing with customers. They over charge customer when it comes to renewing. They also cant add a new vehicle on the policy which results in you leaving then they will over charge you and add on cancellation cost. All a scam.

This company is absolutely disgusting
Don't use this company. If there's any problem they bombard you constantly with threatening letters even though its nothing to do with you.
Frightening an old age pensioner with their one call debt recovery sister company for someone who has not resided at the address for many months. Even several phone calls and returned letters they still keep worrying a pensioner. Come on!!! Even asked to talk to a manager to complain but no manager ever available. Time to complain to a governing body.

Horrendous customer service

Changed my car recently. Tried to call to get the options of changing my insurance to the new car or cancelling the old policy. First issue NO PHONE NUMBER. Live chat only. You type a question and it takes 10 minutes to get a response. 21/2 hours later I was quoted £160 more than other quotes I had received. And after just 6 weeks they have retained 80% of the policy to cancel in administration fees. Don’t be fooled. Won’t be using again

Avoid this company. Nightmare!

I had a minor scrape when someone reversed into me causing minor damage to my front nearside wing. "One Call" is anything but! Two months on still no action but many hours on the phone and email and text to various people. Am now cancelling the claim and sort it myself! Avoid this company like the plague.

Horrible Company, Avoid at all cost!!!!

This company does not deserve one star it’s too much, if there was an option of no stars I would have chosen that. I sold my car on the 29th of July, unfortunately with One Call you can not cancel your insurance, there is no way of cancelling, no human being to talk to, there is nothing, I have tried to contact them everyday since then but I couldn’t. So I cancelled my direct debit because I knew someone will then be interested to help me. They called me on the 18th of August asking why I had cancelled my direct debit, I told the woman the problems I’ve had trying to cancel my insurance, it included me holding for over 2hrs waiting for an operator to help me and no one came on line. Everyday I start from number 53 or 20 on the queue until 0 no one ever comes on the line to help, it’s a scam, to be seen as if they have a way of communicating with customers yet it doesn’t get you anywhere or to anyone. Today I got a bill asking me to pay 154.91 which is more than the total of my yearly insurance, adding what I have already paid. This company is a scam. Before I got the letter I got a threatening email saying if I don’t pay what they want they will pass on my details to the debt collectors. They have refused for me to cancel my insurance and now they want me to pay more than what was quoted for the year, after selling my car! BE WARNED DO NOT GET ANY INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Today I tried to contact them and I was holding for over 2hrs, no human being answered my chat. This has been going on since the 29th of July. On the letter they wrote demanding money, there is no email either to write to. This should not be allowed, these people are cheating people and not taking any responsibility. Trading standards needs to be involved and investigate this company, how can they be allowed to operate like this!!!!

Appalling

Appalling ! I was on hold for 45mins, was cut off without speaking to a human. Tried Chat, was told nobody in the department, tried again 14th in the q ! On hold second time 50 mins, still not spoken to a human !
Never again !

Top marks for operater KB2

Top marks for operater KB2. I had no details other than that I'd paid X amount to onecall via credit card a year ago. She persevered and eventually tracked my policy provider which enabled me to then access my docs online.
The web chat queue was long but well worth the wait, and the simple number indicater which shows were you are in the queue is an excellent feature. Pity other providers dont use it

HORRENDOUS.!!!!!!

HORRENDOUS.!!!!!!! WAS TOLD MY INSURANCE WAS CANCELEED BUT THEY STILL WERE CHARGING ME £50 A MONTH WHICH IS DOUBLE THE OLD CONTRACT PRICE NOT JUST THAT THEY HAVE CHARGED ME £150 FOR CANCELLATION. AND THEY HAVE NO CONTACT NUMBER AND I AM STILL BWING TOLD THE SAME THING AND HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A EMAIL FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH, BTW I CANCELLED THE INSURANCE IN JUNE BEFORE THE RENEWAL AND THERE CONTSCT NUMBBER DOES NOT WORK. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

1 star is too much

1 star is too much. Car Insurance renewal due, unable to cancel. Can't chat or phone, no one answering. THIS IS HAPPENING WITH 1000s of customers, go online and check yourself.

extreme bad contact imformation and help

Awful customer service been with them a couple of years now, cant get through on numbers after online chat said needed to speak with renewals, the telephone numbers not working then i find another number got through, mot easy to get right information and help on renewal and changing the vehicle, then they cut me off, all my time wasted

Defaulted wrote several times their Manager, imagine being covertly called a liar. Disgusted.

I would give them no stars but there is no option here to do that.
I was told continuously that I had defaulted on one of my payments and said that was not the case as the direct debit had not been called for, no emails as promised on my last chat. No generative emails as is their practice to state payment would be taken on 13th I spent over an hour on chat, what if I could not write in English? The operator and manager dug their heels in as they tried to twist my words. I had to confirm with my bank who confirmed I was absolutely right.
Been with them for nearly 2 years and I will not be renewing absolutely disgusting. Doing things online should make everything a smooth process and not a drawn out process with One Call calling you a liar and wanting to extort more money out of you. Absolutely appalled with their service on 13 June 2024.

Did not sign up for automatic renewal…

Did not sign up for automatic renewal but this company renewed. I was told I would have to pay thirty pounds cancellation charge or they will send a debt collection agency to collect the money. This company is called one call but never provides a number it's all online. When I broke down on the m5 I was told to log the breakdown on the app. Not everyone has smartphones and I was stranded for six hours. Do not use this company as I was a female on my own, this company is a disgrace.

APPAULING SERVICE

Took out a contents only policy Oct 23, paid in full. Tried to call them today to let them know the property had changed owner, but no phone, had to do LIVE CHAT, they wanted to charge an admin fee of £39. asked to cancel policy, No refund and still an admin fee of £39. Told them to just let the policy run it's course although I know i wouldn't be covered. They GRACIOUSLY said they could reduce the admin fee to £24. Then wait for it... tried to up-sale the service. Asked for a manager call back, no to that, they don't do call backs. Ended chat. APPAULING SERVICE
btw Called the different company I got building Ins with, £15 admin fee but 50% fee rebate. Fantastic, that's the way to do business....
