Misleading Marketing

This is app is not what it says on the tin, It sells itself by misrepresentation. By stating that it will give you a personalised plan,it misleads you into thinking,that you will be given a program be it meals to eat or excercises to try based on the information you provide.It does far less than cheaper apps that have become household names over the years. All it is,is a food and water tracking app with some bits and bobs to read,to "unlock" more reading. It was pointless for me because I already have an app that I use to track my food/calories.Reading the content only seemed to unlock more reading.

Doing the quiz was a waste of time because it doesn't produce anything useful.I am still unclear on what the personalised element is. If it's the reading,the marketing should clearly state that it will give the user personalised reading content,rather than a personalised program.When I bought the 1w week subscription for £25, the app did not make it clear at the time of purchase that after the first 12 weeks I would be charged over £66 for another 12 weeks through auto renew and there is no way to secure a refund even if you did not wish to extend a contract with them for a subsequent period.

I was auto renewed for another 12 weeks and denied a refund. They list options for you to select as reasons for the refund request and then deny your request for choosing the true reason.

This company should not be able to sell a product through misrepresentation then deny customers any recourse,other than suggesting you keep using the app for a year for free (which is pointless when you've already spent £90 for 24 weeks for an app that doea not do what it says on the tin) when you are not satisfied with the product. It should have a 0 star rating or 1 star rating at the most in the app store.

We’re also sorry for any confusion regarding your plan’s auto-renewal and payment. By default, subscriptions renew automatically to save users from having to manually update their plans. Watch your bank statement

Watch your bank statement. These fraudsters have been taking £40 a month from my card - I don’t even know who they are! One random click somewhere allowed them access to my details. Instagram is the main culprit so don’t click on any ads.

Automatically renews and refuse…

Automatically renews and they refuse refunds. Stay away from this app.

I have never wanted this to be automatically renewed since the beginning. I just pay for the first 3 months as trial and use the first month.
Then I changed my phone and forgot about the app as this didn't work for me. Then, when I checked my email I realised that I had been billied. I immediately cancelled my subscription ( that I even forgot I had) and asked for a refund. However, they refused saying this goes against their policies. This is such a scam company. 😒

Wish I could give it no stars

Wish I could give it no stars! Re download the app after payment for a 12 week subscription after a week free trial. Tried to access the app today and it locked me out and made me pay a second time, now Almost 60 dollars and I am still locked out. Won't refund me any money and customer service just gives me the run around to how I can log in....not getting charged a 3rd time. Offered me free access for a year.lol how is it free when I have now paid for a year and 12 weeks..,.you have got to be kidding me. I have been charged twice, can't log in and can't access so goods not received so I have now taken it up with my bank. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Nonexistent support

This app is horrible. It doesn’t work the way it supposed to. Customer support is nonexistent. My account ( which I thought was closed) just automatically renewed and they won’t get me a refund. Not only have I not used this app at all for over 2 months, but now I just paid for 3 months that I don’t want. This is a scam please be very careful if you decide to use this app

It's a scam resolved!!

Update: Olivia from OMO reached out and worked diligently to resolve the issue and I now have access to the OMO app, still no meal plan but hey you can't win them all.. Thanks Olivia!! Its a scam!!!!!! I purchased a meal plan, was charged however I was not able to log in to my account. I tried to reset my password the link was never sent to me, I didn't receive the meal plan. You bet I canceled. Don't waste your time and money.

I wish I could give them negative. They just deduct my money without my knowledge and when I asked for refund they simply refused to refund, instead they are saying that I can use their product for whole year .. I don’t wanna use your product I just want my money back.. but they simply looted my money and refused to return. Never recommend to anyone

They auto charged my card over $60 for…

They auto charged my card over $60 for a 3 month subscription with no email or text warning at all. I emailed them within 5 minutes of the charge to cancel and get a refund but they claim due to the policies on their website they will not be refunding anything. They are predatory and dishonest. They claim that because of some hidden policy on their website they are allowed to do this. Awful customer service and while I can appreciate the concept of the app, the execution is not there. Strongly recommend against it and if you did try the trial make sure you cancel right away or you will be charged with no recourse aside from disputing with your bank.

All bad.

Auto- Renewal as standard.

Purchased app and couldn’t get access to cancel subscription. I sent an email asking them to ensure it didn’t auto renew.. Nothing really worked on the app and I didn’t really use the app, as it was not fit for purpose.
Heard nothing until it auto renewed following loads of updated info t&c in Dec and probably the first email I’ve ever received from them saying they’d auto renewed and taken my payment. I emailed and logged on to try and cancel and have not heard a word from them, hence this review.

Update. Added a star following a mutual agreement following this review.
Please ensure you’re aware of the auto renewal, as this occurs as standard.

I wouldnt even think about joining this company to diet. I took out a special offer of £15 for one month to tey it out. The following month it £38 out of my account. I hadn't renewed it but they said i had taken it out for
2 Month. There was no way i would have done this as what is the point if i see no improvement in my weight. They refused to give me my money back but offered me a years free subscription?? Just give me the £38 makes more sense. Stay away anybody who is thinking of joining

Terrible App

Terrible App – Total Scam!

This is hands down the worst weight loss app I’ve ever used. First of all, it’s ridiculously expensive for what it offers—My fitness pal is much better and it’s free. But the real scam? If you ever log out, you CAN’T log back in without paying AGAIN! Who does that?!

I made the mistake of logging out, thinking I could just sign back in later, and boom—locked out unless I repurchase.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this app. It’s a ripoff designed to drain your wallet, not help you get fit. Zero stars if I could!

This is a scam

This is a scam, do not use. I am in the same predicament as others. I paid for the initial 3-month package, didn’t end up using it beyond a week or two, then forgot about it. Woke up today to a $65 charge for auto-renewal that I was not warned about. I am currently emailing with someone named “Jules” who feels like a bot. Completely unethical company.

Update: I contested this with my bank, and they refunded me. It is standard practice to receive notification/reminder of any autorenewal charge you knowingly or unknowingly agreed to. This company did not do that. Makes you wonder…

These people have without authorisation direct debited my credit card without permission $110 per month AUD . This is a scam business that exists to get your credit card details. Stay away.

Company have zero integrity

Purchased the app from this DUBAI company on trial price but never used it. Deleted and gave no more thought. Until I noticed a payment pending for £38.50. They had not advised me beforehand as is a legal requirement. I immediately contacted them before payment confirmed advising them I hadn’t used their app and asking them to stop this payment in advance. They ignored me. Sent many emails asking for refund. They said they’d only refund if I’d stuck to their regime and not lost weight. I hadn’t used their product in any way so not possible. I pointed out they hadn’t informed me as legally required and they were charging me for something I don’t have. They stopped replying. Disgraceful company. Am now waiting to hear from bank.

Won't refund you, keep using word policy and not explaining why... I got a trial back in October for 25.99. Didn't know they had me set up for auto-renewal. THEY DO NOT WARN YOU THAT ITS DUE FOR RENWAL, THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY!! Just been charged £66 for this which they are refusing to refund even though they have taken money from me that I needed for housing cost. Not care for indivials, must be run by robots. Highly dissatisfied with the response and the app aswell. Other reviews highlight same issues - if I could give it negative stars I would. In the cost of living crisis im appalled they would happily take someone's money that is needed for more important purpose. Misleading Advertising and Poor Transparency – A Disappointing Experience

I subscribed to the app after seeing a TikTok video that specifically promoted weight loss through meal plans and workouts. I completed the application, paid for the subscription, and received my plan—only to discover that neither meal plans nor workouts were included.

I reached out to customer support and received this response from Jules:
"Unfortunately, currently, the app doesn't offer meal and workout plans, but let me thank you for sending us this request - I'll certainly pass it over to our team, as a suggestion like yours is what gives us ideas for improvement."

I then sent them proof of the TikTok video advertising these features and received another response:
"Unfortunately, additional features like meal plans or specialized workouts are only available as part of bundled plans purchased on the website during registration."

When I decided to cancel because the app did not deliver what was advertised, I was told:
"We offer workouts and meal plans as optional features, which need to be purchased during the registration process. I’m afraid they are not available for purchase afterward, however, I've already sent this as a feature request to our developers so they can look into enabling this option in the future."

This is misleading at best. How is anyone supposed to know what they’re signing up for when the advertising suggests otherwise? It feels like a bait-and-switch, and I wouldn’t recommend this app to others based on my experience.

Must be aware of the auto renew. Originally paid £25 for 3 months and then was charged £66.95 on automatic renew. I even forgot I had the app as I stopped using it after a week cause it was so crap! No notice or reminder received before they just take the money out your bank and app is really poor . What a scam, they do not make you aware of the subscription as it’s not made clear all cost will be upfront
