Only problem is the debit card you issue for the clam. It is difficult to use at some merchants. Orders on line usually work. But box stores is not as easy.

Dealership sold me this warranty when I…

Dealership sold me this warranty when I bought a truck from them.the dealership talked highly of them. Stated they cover a lot and great to work with. Paid extra because the truck I bought has a lift on it. 2 months down the road the transmission goes out. Get it towed to a shop. Waiting two weeks for them to say they aren’t covering the vehicle. Stated they only cover up to 6in lift. They state it’s a 8in lift. Then said they are canceling the warranty. However the lift is in fact not a 8in lift. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Dakota,

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration with this situation. Our records include photographs taken during the inspection process showing the lift being measured, and those measurements indicated the vehicle exceeded the maximum lift height allowed under the contract. We would be happy to share those photos with you for your review.

We strive to handle every claim fairly and in accordance with the terms of the service contract. If you would like to discuss the measurements or review the documentation, please contact our customer service team.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the outcome of your claim. Our records indicate the claim was denied because the vehicle was equipped with oversized tires that exceeded the manufacturer's reommended size.

You advised that you disclosed the oversized tires and headlight modifications to the selling agency at the time of purchase. However, Omega Auto Care serves as the claims administrator and is not involved in the sales process or the discussions between customers and selling agencies. As such, we cannot confirm or deny what information may have been provided during those conversations and must administer claims according to the terms and conditions of the contract.

If you believe the coverage was misrepresented at the time of sale, we encourage you to discuss the matter directly with the selling agency.

We were lied to.

My husband purchased this plan going in two years now. When it was sold to us we were told that everything was covered except electrical. We called and booked with a mechanic on their website and when the mechanic called about the issues that we understood were covered they informed him nothing is covered. So we’ve been paying all this time to find out that the coverage we were originally told we have was not true. The customer service was horrible and acted like they couldn’t speak with me after speaking to me through the whole process until I wanted clarification. Don’t trust them.

This company is the biggest rip-off I…

This company is the biggest rip-off I have ever seen in my life;Samanta and her henchmen are trained to steal. they just steal your money and your time and refuse to cover more than 2% of anything. Everyone who works at Auto Care is trained to rob you. They never provide coverage—even if you send them all the necessary information. Don't waste your time or money on these rats; they are the absolute worst. They all pull the same scams. I checked the reviews and customer complaints too late; this garbage outfit should be shut down, and every single one of the thieves working there should be arrested.

Omega is operating as Admin for companies without your knowledge or authorization.

Omega is operating through many companies. I signed up for Complete auto protect, and when I filed a claim it was Omega that was the Admin. In my mind, and I believe legally, I had no agreement with Omega as I did not sign a contract with them, and Complete sold me a package that Omega changed to not cover all Complete claimed. It is bait and switch. Don't deal with either of these companies. I was asked to add more. Omega lied to my mechanic and said I only had power train coverage. I have it in writing and would be happy to scan it and send it to Omega, through Trust Pilot if you give me an email address to do it. I scanned and sent copies of my contract with Complete Auto Protect, as I signed no agreement with Omega and was not even aware they were involved. Had I known it I would not have bought the product. If I wanted to be involved with Omega, they have their own plans, and I would have went with them if I liked it, I did not so did not go with them. Omega seems to forget the issue. They LIED to the mechanic and told him I only had power train not power train enhanced. The lie says it all. And the fact when I was sold the package without identifying Omega, which is relevant, is FRAUD.

Rodney,

We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your coverage. We would like to clarify that Omega Auto Care has always been the administrator of the coverage you purchased through Complete Auto Protect. If you review your contract documents, Omega Auto Care is listed.

Your vehicle was a 2015 Ram with approximately 174,000 miles at the time of purchase. Based on its age and mileage, it qualified for a Powertrain Enhanced coverage plan. The coverage was not changed after purchase.

Additionally, light bulbs are not covered under any Vehicle Service Contracts, including our highest levels of coverage. Smaller electrical components and sensors are also among the first items excluded on older, high-mileage vehicles, which is standard in the vehicle service contract industry.

We did not alter your coverage, and the repair facility was advised of the coverage that was in effect under your contract.

I got this insurance policy 2 months…

I got this insurance policy 2 months ago my car had low cylinder pressure and head number three with a bent head I drove it a mile and a half to a mechanic shop where cut off at of course taking it to the mechanic shop and letting the mechanic look at it it shut off and of course it burnt the head gasket because it was sitting there running so he can see what was wrong with it without putting it on diagnostic first and they denied fixing my engine because they said the head gasket due to overheating well common Sense the head gasket is going to burn due to overheating if the cylinder head is bent just like any insurance company they're going to deny the best they can but they want you to keep up payment month to month but yet this happened on the 14th and it took him till the 27th to get somebody out to inspect it and then they're going to tell me it was due to overheating yes it was overheating the engine broke they said if you see a light come on you should stop and call a tow truck who in the world start to call a tow truck every time I like comes on on the car and I know 95% of America you had your engine light your brake light your tire sensor light some kind of light come on so that means stop and call the tow truck if you don't see nothing else happening and I did what was best and I went straight to a mechanic shop and I have all the proof of everything but let you know I would not waste my money with this company because they're going to deny you for the slightest thing they can do

I understand why you feel frustrated, but the situation you’re describing is exactly what is meant by continued operation of an impaired vehicle.

When a vehicle is overheating, it is not comparable to a routine warning light like a tire sensor light. An overheating condition is an immediate and severe mechanical issue. Even driving a very short distance, such as a mile to a mile and a half, while the engine temperature is elevated can rapidly escalate internal damage.

It’s important to clarify that overheating itself does not automatically result in cylinder head or head gasket failure. Those types of failures typically occur when the vehicle continues to run while already in an overheated state. In other words, the damage is not caused simply by the initial issue, but by operating the vehicle after that condition has presented itself.

For that reason, industry standards, and the terms of most service contracts, require that the vehicle be shut down immediately when overheating is observed, and transported to a repair facility. This is because continued operation, even briefly, can turn a manageable issue into a catastrophic engine failure.

Based on your description, the vehicle was driven and allowed to continue running while overheating, which is the determining factor in how the failure is categorized.

This company isn’t what they say they are to customers.

This company isn’t what they say they are. How about that. Turn in automobile and after three maybe four months this company turns down the repairs that should’ve been done. How can they say they cover the powertrain but then don’t cover specific part within the powertrain. If the parts wasn’t present the powertrain would not work. Now make that make sense.
Just not right. What good is this? Paying several months for service;then when one need this to have a repair they do all in their power to make it not compatible.

I no longer have Omega after being a customer for 3 years. Omega had been giving me full coverage then they changed to 1/2 coverage because my vehicle is a 2001. They failed me tremendously after being a loyal
customer with full benefits. When I renewed they gave me half coverage, so I canceled you guys for a service that would accommodate

This company lies to you about coverage

if you got duped into purchasing a policy with this shithole company call immediatley and cancel your fake policy. i was told verbatim(that means word for word for the idiots) that oil changes/brake pads and shoes/battery replacement and fluid maintenance was covered. I already had a warranty and i was persuaded by this company to get an additional warranty under the impression that those things were covered. After months of payments I went to the dealership and watched the representative call this company after presenting my certificate that says in print oil changes/brake pads are covered. He looks at me mid phone call and says to me 'you know you will have to pay out of pocket for the service today?' After he gets off the phone with this joke of a company he proceeds to tell me they will do a customer reimbursement for the service and they will only cover $100 of the brakes. Absolutely 100% false advertisement.

Waste of money

Not even willing to pay complete cost of mechanic labor for needed parts. Paid almost 4k for policy and theyre only willing to pay 1.4k out of 2.8k needed to fix my pickup. Insisting that I use low quality used parts rather than recommended ford parts for my bearings and iwe switch. I'd even called before hand to make sure that my problem was covered. I need my truck back ASAP and now I'm out of more money

Omega has bailed me out of a few jams…

Omega has bailed me out of a few jams with my car that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. However, not all parts are covered in the manual. Had to have my turbo replaced and then a boost censor that is required for the turbo and car overall to shift right, needed to be replaced. The book mentions NOTHING about a censor anywhere. So I'm on the hook for replacing it. They word the coverage in a very sneaky way so they do not have to cover as much. The maintenance contract is a joke. It only covers a very tiny portion of what some of the maintenance costs like $40 towards a coolant flush that costs about $150. It is definitely convenient to have when major repairs are needed and you only have to pay the deductible if said repair is covered. When the dealership submits a claim, it takes moving mountains to get a hold of anyone helpful. Had my car sitting for awhile and shelled out $500 for a rental. They have a special clause for FL, but I still only got minimum reimbursement. The most helpful person I have worked with doesn't even work for Omega directly, but for Repair Banc who is the selling agent of the policy. Except for her, those people are shady. I had coverage and got a call from someone who said my coverage lapsed only to sell me a duplicate policy at a high price. When trying to work to cancel it, he hung up on me and we had to dispute the charges. Perhaps Omega might want to pay closer attention to those selling their policies.
I am glad to have my policy because of the major repairs that were covered but Omega needs to put more clear indication of what is covered and what is not. Like the censor. The coverage booklet mentions not one censor so how are they going to tell me it isn't covered when it doesn't say one way or the other. Not even an offer for partial coverages. Luckily the dealership had a loaner so I didn't have to shell out another $500 for a rental. Perhaps I should have researched other companies first. So, at this time, I'm impartial and just eh about Omega.
