The staff Shanika brilliantly tailored my 6 days short adventure in Sri Lanka from Negombo to Kandy and finally to Nuwara Eliya in a perfect timing with knowledgeable tour guide. Nevertheless, I had some reservations of their promises early but later realised that all are fulfilled in a cleverly crafted itinerary plan perfect to suit my tour experience needed to understand their culture and traditions. Being a first trip with more I covered in effective 5 days of stay, that certainly will set me more days to cover the other parts of Sri Lanka through Olanka travels in future. Nevertheless, I am a very apprehensive and critical person, but their untiring and meticulous effort in crafting itinerary left me speechless. Anyone plan to travel to Sri Lanka can contact Olanka and look for the pleasant and dedicated staff Shanika. Leave the plans to the expert and they will craft the best for you.

Olanka put together a tailored 14 day tour for us providing a great driver/guide and booking the hotels, all done by email & WhatsApp from the UK.
Best holiday we have since our honeymoon 20 years ago.

They randomly add extra 'fees' when you go to check out with them, update policies on the fly, and if there are issues with the tour they straight up lie about what is happening. Avoid them.

You can trust them what they say they deliver. Thanks team Olanka Travels. Cab was quite comfortable. Thanks to Thanuja lakshitha (Cab guy) who shows us around and help us to understand local language also.

Orlanka travel is the best ,we had the best experience ths driver (tarangue) was allways helpful and smiling.

Olanka travels were amazing! They helped us plan our trip to Sri Lanka from A to Z. They customized the itinerary based on our preference, and provided us with a car and driver (Tarangue) for the whole trip. The driver was very helpful and smiley all through the trip!

After more than 3 months seeking a refund I was told it won't happen in spite of the stated refund policy. Obviously this is a shoddy organisation with equally shoddy business practices. Would suggest any future customer look to an alternative company that upholds their claims. Try Wendy Wu Tours for an honest, reasonably priced and inclusive experience

We booked a 12-day journey with an outstanding guide. However, the hotel choices, despite being rated 4 and 5 stars, were underwhelming. On the first night, Olanka Travels failed to confirm our accommodation, leaving us stranded at 3 am. While the situation was eventually resolved by the hotel, it came with difficulties. Subsequent hotels boasted prime locations, but some had cleanliness issues, unpleasant odors, or lacked hot water. Additionally, the trip details implied many inclusions, which weren't the case. The online payment fee was exorbitantly high at $170.
We love the country and will definitely return, but not with Olanka.

Have been waiting 3 months for the the return of our refund. No communication as Dilini Dayawansa refuses to respond to our concerns/questions. This refund failure is in complete contrast to the posted refund policy. Obviously not a genuine business and certainly not one with which to have any dealings. Now into October and still no communication from this company. Seriously doubt their honesty and business integrity.

I planned a trip and was literally harassed to pay a deposit, however I fell ill and was unable to travel. My deposit was somehow forfeited and the company refuses to contact me. I wouldn’t use a company that steals in this way!
