It may sound banal, but to withdraw your own money you basically have to go through all the circles of Hell. The ridiculous Satoshi test is implemented horribly: the site simply refuses to recognize the destination wallet that you’re required to confirm in the exchange’s own Safari extension, and it keeps throwing an error saying the wrong wallet is connected. Before that, any wallet address I entered for withdrawal was automatically flagged as “high-risk, please choose another one.” And that was my damn wallet address!

You might think: “Well, just enter a different address and that’s it.”
Nope. Not at all. They completely blocked my withdrawals. Do you think support responded? Of course not.

So if you enjoy problems—go ahead and register on that exchange.

As i am new to the crypto i chose OKX. Trading was good in spite of the downfall and sudden drops. P2P works good for money transfer. Im still not sure is there a spot trading for bearish run it is not explained well but ok, like i didn’t find sell short spot bot, maybe its me. Maybe newsletter bulletin should be more informative but ok. All in all the platform works well and it is very responsive. Fees for perpetual trading need to be more defined and history of trade need to be more clear. Example as i had 300$ used 10x perpetual long buy and made 50$. Balance is not now 350$ it is less bcoz of the fees I don’t fully understand. Keep trading and be safe wish you all the best for the future

Absolute joke of a company. App is ridiculous. So sick of the EVERYDAY issues and the continued horrible app development.

I use your Android app and I am really happy with the simplicity and the offers. I recommend it to everyone, especially beginners in the crypto world.

High fees! First they say: ohhh 0.08% fees and then 0,3%!!! fees

Honestly, terrible exchange to hold crypto in. Even if u want to transfer funds. Platform just deside to hold my fund (which are not a lot - like $10-20), and won't let me touch them, until I tell where and my fund from etc. Verification system is EVEN WORSE.I tried to verify myself for weeks, sent them all the necessary documents, and in the end they still didn't verify me. I don't recommend it.

Traded a few months with OKX and they seem to have quite some really good trading features but they often log me out every now and then and it’s always stressful, hope they get that fixed and also the customer service don’t really seem to be all too friendly, I hope they work on that too.

I found out that it was a Ponzi scheme weeks ago when they refused to pay me I requested for withdrawal 5 times it was disapprove and the customer service is fully of crap ……. Don’t be shy to seek help
I refused to let them go away with my money filed a complaint and got everything back within few days . Terrible platform stay away!!!!!

Had an account with them for a few years and never had any issues. Had not been there for a year or so and failed with my attempts to provide the 2FA code. It turns out I never had 2FA with them and I was providing codes from some 2FA that did not have the company name at the front of the title. My account was frozen. I was informed I have to verify my identity.
The first part of the process was to 'clear' fragments of cryptos I had purchased and withdrawn, some of the tokens are now dead. No idea what this is all about. No instructions and when I click on one of the tokens I am taken to the withdrawal page. After telling support I ended up on the withdrawal page they replied with an incompetent answer to go ahead and make the withdrawals. smh.
Reading other reviews here I think maybe it is a good thing my account is frozen and it can stay that way.

This exchange looks to have a habit of acting like communists with their controlling actions and I intend to stay away.

I was quite annoyed by their deceptive practice of offering a welcome bonus. They advertise that you should deposit $500 to receive it, but when you try to claim the bonus, they credit it to your account, but it's locked for 90 days with additional rules to actually get it.

It’s been over a month since I downloaded the OKX app on the recommendation of a friend. I transferred USD 1100, but when I tried to withdraw the funds, my account was initially barred for seven days. Since then, I’ve been repeatedly asked to provide various documents — including my bank statement and address proof — which I have already submitted.

Each time I contact support, they stop responding after saying, “Your issue has been escalated,” yet no progress is ever made. It’s quite ironic that OKX allows users to deposit USDT easily but blocks withdrawals.

To make matters worse, instead of resolving my withdrawal issue, I received a message stating that my account has been successfully verified and that I can now trade — even though I have been following up from an already verified account specifically to release my funds.

It’s now been more than a month with no resolution. I am therefore preparing to file a formal complaint with the Dubai Police through their smart service system, as advised when I contacted them.

I’ve been trading on OKX for almost a year, and until recently, everything seemed fine. Occasionally, I was asked to provide documentation for the source of funds, which I always complied with and had no issue doing.

A few days ago, I deposited fiat currency into my account, only to find out that my account was suddenly restricted from both fiat and crypto withdrawals. Three days ago, I was told to “please wait,” but I still haven’t received any clear response about why my account was restricted.

Today, customer support ( VIP agent Lily) mentioned there’s a policy that allows OKX to hold users’ funds — yet they still won’t explain why this is happening to me.

At this point, I feel like OKX is withholding my money without justification. I no longer feel safe using this platform and am genuinely desperate to access my funds. Stay away — this experience has completely destroyed my trust in OKX.

It seems to be controlled by scammers who send fake USDT $$$ to my wallet only for it to ask for fees to withdraw. When contacted the platform it arrived at they said it’s fake and has no value from who it was sent from being OKX !!

I’m writing this after exhausting every option with OKX. My deposit has not been credited to my account, even though it came from a known and trusted source. I’ve already provided complete transaction proof, blockchain hash, and even a clear video showing the deposit — yet nothing has been resolved for a whole week.

The support team and compliance email only send generic replies, asking me to “wait” or “email the same address again.” I’ve done that over 10 times, with no actual investigation or resolution.

Even here on Trustpilot, I'm seeing that OKX only responds with the same copy-paste message and the same useless email address. That’s not customer support — that’s avoidance.

I’m demanding a clear answer and a proper resolution:

Why is my deposit still not credited?

Which OKX entity (Seychelles, Bahamas, Malta, or UK) is legally responsible for this transaction?

Which regulatory authority can I contact to escalate this formally?

This is not a small delay — it’s a case of funds being withheld without reason or communication. For a platform that claims global compliance and transparency, this is completely unacceptable.

Until OKX provides a real resolution and identifies the jurisdiction handling my account, I strongly advise others to be cautious before depositing funds here.

OKX has frozen my $20,000 for almost 2 years without any legal grounds, court order, or official explanation.

First, they demanded that I obtain a license from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). I fully complied with this request and received an official response confirming that there are no sanctions or restrictions against me.

Even after providing this document, OKX gave no clear legal basis for the freeze and continues to hold my funds. They provide no timeline, no documents, no decision — just silence.

This situation has been ongoing for nearly 2 years. My funds are still blocked, and I have received no resolution.

I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious and not to trust this platform with your money. If your account is ever blocked, it may be nearly impossible to recover your funds.

OKX was scam. There platform didnt workme well unlike coinbase. No customer servic to contact them.m as same on chat.

If it could be less, even better. "Customer service" shoves me out the moment it gets complicated. The issue? I can't login, because their face recognition software doesn't work. My camera is clean, I've tried in all kinds of light, with several browsers, computers, phones, and internetconnections, nothing works. 16 hours in total of frustration and getting nowhere. DON'T GO ON OKX!

Would not honor the signup bonus. Had my time wasted for an hour on the "help" chat. Said I did not use the correct link when I did. The problem here is if they are like this on such a trivial issue, how would they be on a major issue? Avoid them.

Due to poor checking algorithm my deposit transfer from my bank account was denied that caused a loss of bank transfer and conversion fees. OKX felt no responsibility because of their poor system. Customer support was very poor, had no value at all, only standard texts...
