After my first uses I found certain spots on the pan became sticky. However after reheating the pan with water and dish soap the stickiness disappears. The company needs to address this either in its instructions or notes to owners.
Buyer beware. The Japanese connection is in name only! These utensils are made in and shipped from China. Okura suggests ‘Japanese Style’ stamped on the base of a pan is synonymous with ‘made in Japan.’ It certainly is not.
Love the cookware started with a set and was so happy with the cooking and especially the cleaning that I purchased 3 more different sized pans.
I just received my new pan! It took exactly one month from order to delivery? That was painful.
However I have it now and it is beautiful!
I have not used it yet but it came very well packaged and no sign of damage. Yeah!
I received my pans last night and cooked breakfast in one this morning. I haven’t enjoyed frying eggs so much in years! I’ve gone through all the coatings over the last 40 years and none of them performed like the Okura pan. I highly recommend!!
Ordered the three pan set. It took 21 days to arrive in Australia. Very pleased with the product
I just received the pot. I love the aesthetic of the pot and also light weight. So far it works well with my inductions stove.

Don't buy anything here. I have to wait for 4 weeks to get my pan. I want to return it and they make it difficult.

Ordered 3 pans with lids from Okura on 28 Feb 2026 and so far, one month later, I have not received anything. The couriers they use, SpeedX, cannot be contacted in Australia either. I have written to Okura several times and receive unhelpful messages from Noma in the Netherlands (??). I have requested a full refund of $500 Australian and so far there has been no response to that. When I go to the website, my Avast security tells me that the site could be a fake e-store and has secured the web threat of going to that site. Do not use this company.

Worst pans ever. They’re far too thin to retain heat, so the moment you add food, the temperature drops and everything sticks.
On their website, they display logos from well-known brands like MasterChef and Top Chef. We reached out to these companies, and none of them have any agreement with this brand to use their logos.
Be careful, this company is misleading customers, Especially Sam P.

Ordered 3 knives and a pan, the pan was alright so far but the knives are poor quality. What looks to be a Damaskus knife was just etched on with laser and the other knives were the same. Plus it took 3+ weeks for the knives to be delivered.

I bought a 25cm pan at end of Feb as it was on sale. I thought I would give it a try. It did not come until 22 of March. Long delayed shipping. Also same as other people mentioned the area fit the handle was welded badly with black burns and handle did not flush well. I was surprised that it came from China, not what they claimed it's a US/JP product.
Also the pan I got has some small scratches on the pan (the cooking side, not outside of the pan) when I first received it. I emailed to inform for an exchange. They did not come back to me after 36 hours and then in the email told me small scratches happen in shipping and they do not affect the use of pan. Such a horrible and irresponsible reply! Who wants to use a scratched pan and also it was supposed to be new! I realized it is such a scam! Do not buy it!!
I have been trying to contact them via email- seems the only way but they stopped to respond anymore! They really should be stopped doing this scammed business! Wish there’s a way to tell the whole world!

Got the Okura 25 cm wok, because it's titanium, it's lighter than the steel wok I had. It's easy to clean, and I don't have to worry about the chemical coating anymore, since there's none in this new Okura wok. I'm thinking to buy another one with bigger size.

I was looking for a healthier alternative to nonstick pans and decided to give Okura pans a try. Honestly, I’m very happy with my choice. Occasionally, food sticks a little near the sides, but it comes off easily with a quick rinse under running water. I’m happy to make that small compromise, knowing the overall benefits are much greater.
However I am not happy with the customer service, because the second pan that I ordered recently, got lost and never got delivered and the customer service didn't do anything about it.

I didn't know anything about Okura cookware until I saw it on the Internet. I'm not sure where it's really made because there's no actual made in carved into it but it looks like a fairly good quality frying pan Can't wait to try it

Today is March 22, 2026. I am 76 years young and use internet shopping extensively. I have already used my Okura flat bottom wok twice. The first day I scrambled an egg, and, due to my lack of experience with Okura titanium plus my excitement to try my new pan, my egg stuck. I reread the instructions and improved my learning curve. My second attempt was another scrambled egg which, when done, slid right out of the pan! I'm beyond pleased with the pan, the length of shipping time and the speed with which my questions were answered. I have today placed a second order with Okura and I will not hesitate to recommend Okura to my friends 👍
