Oh Sew Crafty Reviews 

After a fabulous experience with these guys I was quite shocked and saddened to see all the negative reviews especially for a small family run business and knowing how damaging they can be. Whilst everyone is entitled to their own opinion I honestly can't fault them. I placed quite a large order with them and was over the moon, the fabric is all absolutely lovely and top notch quality, great prices and a lot cheaper from where I have purchased elsewhere, super fast delivery and free postage, customer service was excellent. I personally rate them 5* and would highly recommend them.

Ordered a list of different things, next day got an email saying one of the items are not in stock, requested a refund for that item. When the rest of my order arrived half of my order was missing (roughly £40 worth of items). I have contacted them multiple times since but they kept saying they’re looking into it and has since not given me any updates. Currently going through my bank but would definitely NOT recommend using them.

The postage label says that my parcel weighed about 800g and given part of my order is a 1kg bag of scrap fabric it’s clear as day that items are missing from order. Also missing was a pair of Fiskar scissors which I imagine would be quite heavy too.

Do not buy from their website.

Placed an online order but then received an email explaining that the item had sold out while processing my order. This is not the first time this has happened and seems to have happened with other customers too. I would not recommend using this company as their online listings clearly do not match to what they can actually offer.

Ordered pipe cleaners which the website stated were 30cm - received 14cm pipe cleaners which weren’t even that fluffy. Despite having ordered perfectly fine pipe cleaners 2 months ago. Customer service disappointing as response was just that’s what we stock so…
Website is completely inaccurate and they didn’t really seem to want to resolve (unless I paid to return them)

Placed an order on 1st December. Notified despatched 3rd December. Tracked daily but delivery status never changed. Requested refund through Etsy on 8th and then received email informing me they had cancelled the order and issued refund. How do you cancel an order which allegedly been despatched. Ordered from different company on Monday. Received Wednesday. No contest.

Live local to the store and have bought loads of fabric wool patterns and accessories over the years a great asset however most disappointed they have reduced their opening hours not only the number of days they open but the actual hours per day. You can bet the day I need something will be they say they’re not open most disappointing to say the least

Outstanding customer service, outstanding quality of products and excellent communication!
I could go to a local supplier, however, this is now my second time as with Oh Sew Crafty and as they have all of the above, why go anywhere else?

Didn't receive my order and they were SO unhelpful on email, basically told me to sort it with Royal Mail myself even though its stated that the sender has to put in the dispute not the recipient. Absolute SCAM!

Placed an online order. Paid. Received an email telling me the item "sold out in the shop during processing your order" .... what are the chances? Very inconvenient as I could have purchased the item from another reliable supplier.

I always use this site, the fabric quality is always amazing. I’ve had a couple of hiccups along the way, but they have always been sorted out straight away with no dramas at all.. they advertise the fabric perfectly on line. Their prices are incredible compared to other sites. My shopping experiences have always been very exciting from choosing my fabrics and even more exciting having them delivered! They are always so beautifully packed and I love them..

Awful, fabric 2nd's, soooo many flaws every metre, ignored my email to complain, tried several times to get in touch, eventually had a reply, saying to much time had lapsed for them to help... more than £100 wasted on C**P fabric

Placed first order, it got shipped the next day and then i received it the day after, i had absolutely no issues and was very weary about ordering when reading the reviews but mine went through just fine with no issues so i’ll be reordering soon :) the cheap prices do it for me

Non-existent customer service. Phone is not answered, nor messages replied to. Email finally replied to, but my name was not used so presume it was a standard round robin email. It took 14 days to get a pattern delivered, even though the website say 4 - 7 days. Would I use this company again, no. Very disappointing.

Customer service was brilliant, always polite and professional. After a slightly frustrating delay due to out of stock items they got most of my order sent out for me as I had a time sensitive project which I needed some of the items for, and they kindly swapped and sent out separately the last item that was out of stock. So overall very happy and will definitely order from oh sew crafty again! They also have a fantastic selection of stock, the novelty buttons are fantastic.
My only suggestion would be to look in to a more reliable system for reflecting stock on the website.

Great website and I found what I needed easily. Ordering was straightforward, delivery very fast.

I'm new to ordering from Oh Sew Crafty and can genuinely say that the customer service I have experienced has been 5*. I've now ordered a few times and any queries are dealt with in a timely and friendly manner. The fabrics I have ordered have been lovely quality and the prices are very competitive if not cheaper than some other sites. Oh Sew Crafty is now one of my go to sites and I would recommend them to anyone :)

Ordered on the 9th it's now the 11th still not despatched sent them an email asking what's happening to get a reply Hi
Will chase this but I think you need to be more careful when entering your address as this isn’t correct please supply correct address..
The address is correct now there phone lines are closed so this isn't gonna be resolved until after the weekend rubbish service avoid!!!!! Won't be back UPDATE AFTER MORE RUDE UNJUSTIFIABLE EMAILS I HAVE DEMANDED A REFUND AFTER I RECEIVED A GENERIC APOLOGY EMAIL FROM A DIFFERENT MEMBER IF STAFF AS I WOULDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THIER CUSTOMER SERVICES IF THE ORDER I WOULD HAVE RECEIVED HAD ANY ISSUSES
The address included the house number Street name and postcode twice which is the correct postcode the town was missing which should be enough for it to get delivered.. if I was in the wrong would I have got this reply I was polite until the replies from your member of staff

I’m truly sorry for how you've been made to feel and for the poor experience you've had — it’s deeply upsetting to hear, and I completely understand your frustration.

It’s never acceptable for a customer to feel dismissed or spoken to in that way, and I want to personally apologise. That is not how we treat our customers, and I am genuinely sorry that this has been your experience with us.

I’ve escalated this to senior management so it can be properly investigated. In the meantime, I’ve gone ahead and requested a full refund for your order, including postage, which you should see reflected in your account shortly.

Again, I can only apologise sincerely for the upset caused, and thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can ensure it doesn’t happen again.

I run a small costuming business so am making fabric orders multiple times a week, these are by far my favourite guys to order from. Huge selection of lovely fabrics at a great price and are always dispatched so quickly too. Responsive customer service and always love supporting a family run business too. Would absolutely recommend!
