The worst company we have every meet in 29 years of business they have taken $40k of our money and now want more money and we have not used to software for 1 day, they keep saying it’s a big job and it’s now 15 months and they want another $20k for another 100 hours. The salesman over sold the system we signed up in December 2024 then he left the company the next day. Stay away from Odoo.
I started working with Odoo accounting because my accountant works with this program. Because of Peppol everything needs to be digitalized. I was hoping this would make my already smooth invoicing process even smoother but it has been nothing but trouble. The program is way too complicated for someone with a non-accounting background. I am not a multinational, I just need to send out 40 invoices per year. Why is there a button 'Pay' on my outgoing invoices? Why does it not change my address on invoices when I changed it in settings. There are so many little things that make invoicing so much more complicated than it needs to be. Odoo praises itself on scalability and ease of use but I think they need to take a good look back and see how they can unclutter their processes. I will not be using this product again.

It’s a total rip off… once you sign in and pay basic things to run a business such as setting Automated responses to invoices are not existent… when you ask them to get this issue fixed they want to charge additional 5k for implementation.
Even if you use a third party and the write the code for you you now have to pay extra $100 a month for this change made by you.
Customer service is sh*t
I’m now stuck with a this platform that I payed for 3 years…have spent thousands to It to get it set and ready and can’t use it unless I pay them more money to fix this issues… this is standard feature on our current system as well as other systems out there except for odoo what a joke.
Hope the CEO reads this… what a con of a company this is… so disappointed and angry…. They can now keep my money but I will make sure to let everyone know that odoo is a rip-off and to stay away! 😡😡😡😡

Based on 3 months of having calls with him, My impression of him as Impatient and Totally Unprepared to deal with client's requirements. He seemed underprepared to understand client's requirement and lot of gaps between calls and even after long time of gaps he submits incomplete work, and this delays even smaller things

Worst customer care i've seen.
Account managers are not account managers, they're sales people. Once they sell you the product they do the bare minimum to make sure you're satisfied.
I've done the implementation twice now, because the first time the "certified" implementer did a horrible job, the second time around i went to "the best", they did a good job, the system works fine, but the customer server is horrible. Not from the implementer, but from Odoo the mother company, I'm Dealing with the Dubai office.
No incentive to server the client.
The only incentive is to sell more.
Great and very fast support. Issues are analyzed very fast. Clear communication and good solution as well as documentation!

I can only discourage anyone in the APAC region from subscribing to Odoo. They like to take the money but do not provide any onboarding (we are now in the 3rd year and haven’t received any despite numerous requests to our local Customer Care Manager - Customer Success (APAC). Technical Support is very good but an awful customer service / account management experience despite previous complaints to the Belgium HQ which were never followed up. It’s a mismanaged organization not worth the fraction of a cent you will pay in subscription fees. Stay Away and time to replace their CEO!
Had an interview with one of the staff there called Miss C, and shes literally doing something else and drinking while on the video call which made me think otherwise. Felt like shes just reading out the questions needed... how rude

Support is incompetent, when available.
I had direct interactions with Fabien Pinckaers, CEO @ Odoo. His answer is below any expectation:
"If only 1 of 15 problems could be solved by our support, then it means you actually have no problem.".
We are left in a mess. No B2B company leader would ever do this.

I signed up for the free app but now received an email claiming my trial had expired and i lost all the pages i created. The free app was advertised as "Free Forever" This is false advertising.

We regret subscribing to odoo.Pathetic customer support , for evrything you ask they will say there is extra charge. So many things were not disclosed before subscribing - when the demo was given they will say everything we can do. But the amount is paid they really don’t care about the customer and the paid amount. Even if we ask for refund as it is not working out due to the extra charges they are charging ,they will say that refund is not possible - for annual subscriber also who has paid for 12 mo the and there is no manager available for the customer to talk at least. They will say that the manager is not available. What ever it is whether it is useful or not useful you have to just forget the money you have spent towards subscription amount paid by you for 12 months. It is as if that’s not their problem. Terrible experience when we ask for refund since it is not useful for us and also we don’t want to incurr any extra charges.
Please first take free trial then only decide. We totally regret subscribing odoo for our organisation. It is already one month we have paid the amount for 12 months yet we could not configure anything and lit of follow-up calls for the refund.
Account manager - we are not happy with the support as she does not try to solve the issue or find a solution she just says that it is such.
