I used Odoo for a few days before cancelling. The product may work for some, but the refund policy is predatory — charging ~$850 with zero refund for a trial period is not how you build trust with small business customers.
I won't be recommending Odoo to anyone. Not because the software is necessarily bad, but because the business practices left a bad taste. A company that keeps $850 from someone who tried the product for a few days and found it wasn't right for them is a company that doesn't stand behind its product.
I hope someone reads this. I doubt it.
In the new age of ai your service is appreciated but a but tricky to use at first

We have been a loyal Odoo customer for years, but our recent experience has been extremely disappointing and has seriously damaged our trust in the company.
Odoo suddenly requested an additional upgrade fee of €224.40 because we were still using an older version, even though we completed the migration to version 18 only a few days after the stated deadline. We kindly asked for flexibility as a long-term customer, but the request was rejected with no willingness to find a reasonable solution.
What is even more frustrating is the lack of clear communication. We were never properly informed that the upgrade deadline had changed. Important notices were apparently sent only by email, with no direct follow-up despite Odoo having our phone contact details. For such contractual matters, communication should be transparent and professional.
The quality of account management has also declined significantly. Our previous representative was excellent, but the current support has felt impersonal and sales-driven. When we asked for guidance for the migration, we were told to purchase an expensive service package and were informed that many hours would be required. In reality, we completed the migration ourselves in just a few hours, without technical expertise.
Overall, this experience gave us the impression that Odoo prioritizes charging extra fees and upselling services rather than supporting loyal customers. For a company that promotes long-term business relationships, this is disappointing.
The software itself has potential, but customer care, transparency, and account management need serious improvement. Based on this experience, we are now considering alternative ERP solutions.
Myli was Very helpful and sympathic :)
We discussed, she understood quickly and provided solution and even path of amelioration to the deliveries for my business.

Odoo is the sweet spot between expensive unreachable ERP systems at one side and a set of unrelated tools at the other side. The unique opensource background allows it to evolve faster than all of its competitors. Especially for very small companies the "all applications per user" is very valuable.

I do not recommend investing in this system.
I paid over $5,000 based on features that were promised during the sales process, but many of them either do not work as expected or require additional payments to be implemented. For example, I was told the system included a loyalty program and the ability to create product bundles or combos. However, after onboarding, I was informed that both features require extra fees for setup.
This lack of transparency is extremely disappointing. What was presented as included functionality ended up being upsold later, significantly increasing the total cost beyond the initial investment.
Additionally, my experience with the partner Business 360 in Honduras (Central America) has been very frustrating. There seems to be little to no oversight from Odoo regarding their partners. When I explored the possibility of switching to a different partner, I was told that I would lose the work already completed and would need to start from scratch—incurring another cost of $5,000 to $6,000.
Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, both in terms of cost transparency and partner management. I expected a much more reliable and client-oriented approach.
We are using Odoo in our Company and we are 100% satisfied with this ERP Solution.

I downloaded the demo and found the software unusable without training materials which I was not provided. This alone would never prompt me to write a review. What did prompt it was an AI called to "walk me through" the software, I asked if it was AI and it lied to me and tried to pass itself as a real person.
If a company is comfortable lying before I'm even officially a customer, what else are they willing to lie about?

I would like to share my experience with Odoo.
The solution itself is actually quite good: the tool is comprehensive, flexible, and can genuinely meet a wide range of business needs. On paper, it’s a very strong product.
However, the implementation service is extremely disappointing. There is virtually no follow-up, communication is unclear, and you often feel left on your own once the project starts. Deadlines are not respected, and there is a clear lack of proper support throughout the process.
During the implementation phase, things are often unclear, and many basic configurations are not handled by the assigned consultant unless you explicitly ask for them. There is a lack of proactivity, and it feels like essential setup steps are simply overlooked. The person in charge of your project does not seem concerned about ensuring that you end up with a fully functional solution.
This is especially frustrating because the software itself has real potential. With better customer follow-up and a more professional implementation approach, the overall experience could be completely different.

Zero support from Africa office after a complain about their configuration partner. After 9 months system still not fully functional despite me paying subscription and the only solution Odoo could offer is to configure from scratch at the same cost what I already paid without even auditing the system. The audit was quoted after I insisted at 1000 USD for 25h. Basically no accountability processes after their approved partner mess up
I am very satisfied with using Odoo and their support. The platform itself is extremely user-friendly and flexible, making it a perfect fit for the needs of my business. Everything from bookings to webshop and customer management can be handled efficiently in one place.
What really makes the difference for me is the support. The team responds quickly, thinks along with you, and provides clear solutions. Even for more complex questions, you receive professional and accurate guidance.
Thanks to Odoo, I can better structure my processes and save time in my daily operations. Highly recommended for any entrepreneur looking for an all-in-one solution with strong support.

One of the worst support and company ever. Makes everything ultra complicated, the supports are really dumb and useless, I had to go back and forth multiple times to ask the same question to get it resolve, and some don't, just kept sending you outdated non-detail documentations, or ask you pay for their "service". Had to bare with alot of their limitations, i highly recommend and suggest do not go with this company and system, is really terrible. one more thing, so I gave a low rating to one of the support because he only answers me every 3 of my emails and I had to wait like 5 days to get a response, after giving him a low rating, he email me back saying he spent alot of time on helping me and I shouldnt give him a bad rating, that's stupid, he resolved nothing and instead he wasted 2 weeks of my time waiting on him.

We asked for support for four months and received no response from our relationship manager- none at all. Now, to fix the same issues, we are being asked to pay for an additional package. The service has been incredibly unprofessional.

I’d been feeling quite desperate about my problem for several days. MYLI was simply brilliant! I’d like to thank her for her patience (I’m rather slow at carrying out the steps), her clarity and her kindness. It took us over an hour to sort out the problem because of the difficulties we were facing. I’d like to thank her from the bottom of my heart!!
