I Purchased 9 off 183 x 180 Privacy Trellis Panels online as it was stated "In stock". Received an email 2 days later to say they would be delivered the next day between 9am and 5pm. I waited in and phoned to enquire arrival time to be told that no time could be given but they were " out for delivery" and the driver would arrive as soon as possible.
I then received an email to say that the items were out of stock and I would have to wait for new stock to arrive, possibly the next week and delivery would be sometime after that, very vague.
I was angry to say the least as we had been lied to and my wife promptly called Oakdale. Granted Shane was apologetic but when she asked if he was aware that under Consumer law it is illegal to accept payment for goods that you do not have. His angry reply was " Well what you going to do, sue me? My wife explained that she wasn't but was cancelling the order and required an immediate refund. At this point he hung up on her.
Having owned and run several businesses I can say that their Customer Service needs some serious work. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work to build a good reputation but it can be lost overnight by treating customers with contempt.

Excellent products and great prices. Placing an order is so simple whether online, phone or at the depot, it couldn't be easier. The delivery normally comes within a couple of days from order aswell with very helpful drivers. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Oakdale fencing.

It is way overpriced And waiting for too long for delivery found a better place in Basildon much cheaper and the quality of the fence was much better
