With Nordbound we had the perfect platform to book our travel vehicle. Everything went perfectly.

The staff at Go Iceland were fantastic and super helpful. The check-in and check-out processes for the vehicle were fast and easy. We had an issue with the windscreen and tyre pressure sensor but they checked everything and assured us that it would be ok. Would highly recommend them.

Great prices and communication. The car I rented was brand new. Perfect experience overall!

We enjoyed our experience with the van rental. The van had everything we needed for our trip and drove very well. It was also very good on fuel which kept our fuel cost down so that was a plus! When we picked the van up it did already have some superficial damage but these defects were well recorded by a member of staff so that didn't bother us at all. Overall our experience with Lava was a great one, when we mentioned that the offer we chose on the website stated we would get free GPS included, we were actually upgraded to wifi due to the GPS holder being broken at the time of collection, so that was very kind. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 was because our cool box in the back of the van unfortunately stopped working half way through the trip. Also, I think it would be a great idea to include a jump pack in all rentals just in case, especially for Iceland travelers due to the periods of time which can pass on the road without coming across another car or village for help. Luckily we didn't need one but like I said, I think it would be a good idea for future reference. In conclusion, I would recommend! Thank you Lava :)

What a service, great customer service, The car was excellent and communication with Northbound is excellent and all my queries and questions were answered almost immediately were professional. The procedure for hiring and returning the car is very fast and then transfer to the airport. Thanks to MyCar rental car and Northbound.

Very good car, very nice people, reliable service

Smooth experience with Lava, booked via Northbound. We were easily able to amend our booking via email when we wanted to upgrade our insurance and add wifi. Car was fine and we liked having the option to hire a slightly older car to save money. Overall we would recommend both Lava and booking via Northbound.

I would use this company again, they made the rental process really easy, pickup and return were efficient and quick, car was good quality and we were very happy overall.

Dear Northbound.IS team, we travelled to Iceland last thursday. When I made the booking online I used an American Express card to pay for the deposit. There was no mention that you do not accept American Express anywhere. Once I got to Iceland on the 20th of February at around 10pm. I was told that I cannot use my American Express Card to pay the remainder. Following which I was told that I had to put down a deposit using a credit card? However, it cannot be an Amex. This again was news to me as this was not mentioned previously via email or otherwise. Then the agent advised me that becasue I didn't have a credit card other than Amex I know had to pay for insurance with yourselves. This was another 130GBP for 4 nights. This as you can appreciate caused a lot of stress and annoyance on day 1 of our holiday. Can you please investigate and let me know what happened here? My booking number O6830309690

Very quick to collect us from airport, car was ready to go with no fuss as experienced with other rental companies. Guys were helpful and made the process so easy. I would highly recommend them.

Booked with Cheap Campervans via Northbound. No problems, everything is exactly as advertised and we had a wonderful experience. We did need to contact the rental company separately to arrange pick-up from the hotel, though, despite already writing it in our booking on Northbound, but if that is all...

Extremely pleased with my experience with Star Car Rental. My flight arrived pretty early but the guy that was picking us up kept track of our flight and made sure he was there on time. They were extremely friendly and professional. The car was detailed and completely clean, they also swapped on snow tires the day before because of the forecast showing snow. Dropping off the car was very quick and they drove us right to the airport. Only downside is that you get a keychain that gives you discounts at a specific gas station chain, but that chain is not nearly as avaliable as the more common N1 chain. But any fuel discount, regardless of chain is an added bonus. I 100% recommend Star Car Rental.
