Scammers
My partner joined the nisalocally Facebook page and took part in the release the kraken competition through messenger they said he had won but he had to follow a link which he did but he had to hand over his bank details and tell them when he had finished he didn't give his bank details but told them he had finished then they seem to have cut all communications with his messenger and unfriended him why would you do all that unless it's a scam

Constant Incorrect Prices
Constant Incorrect Prices, and thus Receipts Not Ever Given.
My local store has at least one item mis-priced per weekly visit, usually it's a promo item with a large or prominent POS display too!
Receipts are never, ever, never given freely. You actually have to beg the staff to print one off and hand it over to you. Last week the Manager served me, when I asked for the receipt she huffed and puffed a bit, then threw in the bag: the actual c'card transaction receipt. This was not the itemised one as requested, only realised when got back to the car.
Have complained to Trading Standards on numerous occasions on prices not matching to displayed items (often the prices aren't shown on the shevles also). Even emailed the head office at this carry on, who said they're all 'independent stores' and so on (dismissive).
Don't at all blame the lower paid staff (often part-time students and so on), it's a Manager's sole decision to carry on the policy of very poor pricing admin (both bar code system and missing on shelve displays), and also the policy not to ever hand over receipts, unless pressured to do so.
This avoidance of recepits was present well before covid came on the scene, so that is not an excuse.

Nobody wears Covid-19 facial masks and nothing is said to them!!!
At the Nisa Local near me (M7 1UF) there are a few signs saying customers must wear Covid-19 facial masks, yet the overwhelming majority of customers on any given visit have no masks on (far greater than the average number of exempt people). Nothing is said to them, and I am left feeling very unsafe. (Oct/2020)
Do not trust if your vegetarian
This company put a V for vegetarians on its products yet they are not suitable for example their cheese sandwich has a prominent V on it but on the back says it could contain crustaceans and fish disgusting will not trust them again .

Google reviews say it all.
However I had to report this store to the CMA for raising their prices due to COVID-19.
50ml hand sanitiser £9
1 tin of tuna £2.49
And the cheek... FREEDOM toilet roll 9 pack £3.99 are you serious. Freedom toilet roll is soooo cheap that its sold elsewhere for £1.50!!!!
Thankfully us residents would rather take a nice walk to royal wharf and use sainsburys!
