STAY AWAY FROM NEXUS.

We should have read their online reviews before booking with them. They didn't give us a carrier within the requested window despite having booked ahead of time and despite their repeated assurances when we called asking for updates.

On the last day of the window, which happens to be a Friday (today) we're scrambling to find a replacement service and someone to help with pickup past our departure date. Even getting them to cancel the order was a challenge.

Update 7/11/26: they called offering a $100 restaurant gift card. They haven't specifically asked me to change my negative review but I suspect that that was the motivation. Needless to say I refused their gift. I reiterate: stay away, they're unreliable.

I scheduled my three day pickup window almost a month out because we had a hard date for leaving the state. I called the week before and even the day before and was assured there was not a problem. Half way through the window - I called and was told "no problem". They never picked up the car, called, or reached out in any way. I had to make other arrangement after leaving town which was very complicated and furstrating. I would never consider using them again.

Nexus Auto Transport turned our cross-country relocation into a complete nightmare.

We had a signed transport agreement with a pickup window ending on May 27. Throughout the process, the company repeatedly assured us that our vehicles would absolutely be picked up within the contracted window, even on the final day. We did reservation more than a month before head.

They admitted that they did not currently have a driver assigned, yet continued to assure us with certainty that pickup would happen. We relied on those assurances while organizing a cross-country family move, RV reservations, schedules, and transportation plans.

Instead, we were misled until the very last moment.

Because of their false promises, misleading practices, failure to perform contracted service, and possible deceptive business practices, our relocation plans collapsed during peak moving season and caused major financial and emotional damage.

Another extremely misleading part of this experience was how the company presented itself during booking. We were led to believe that Nexus worked with its own transportation network and drivers, when in reality the shipment was simply posted out to independent contractors/brokers at low rates that apparently nobody was willing to accept.

As customers, we were never clearly informed that there was no guaranteed driver and that our move depended entirely on whether an outside independent carrier would eventually agree to take the load.

Because of this situation, we suffered:

* major financial losses,
* relocation delays,
* emergency transportation problems,
* loss of reservations and time,
* additional moving expenses,
* emotional stress,
* and complete disruption of our move across the country.

Instead of honesty and transparency, we experienced:

* misleading assurances,
* wasted time,
* uncertainty,
* last-minute failures,
* and lack of accountability.

At no point did the company honestly communicate the true level of risk involved with their dispatch system or the likelihood that the shipment might not be picked up at all within the promised timeframe.

Consumers should be extremely cautious before trusting this company with a time-sensitive relocation or vehicle transport.

I’m actually amazed on how flawless this experience was. I had a 1939 Ford Deluxe shipped from Georgia to Ohio. This vehicle was my grandfathers then my uncles and is very important to me. I was nervous to have anyone handle the car. Nexus and their driver did a fantastic job with handling and care.

From quote to delivery was 72 hours! Simply fantastic as was the price.

They do pick up the phone every day of the week so I do give them that. They failed to call the dealer to confirm the pick up was there. After I booked for $500 it turned into $1300. Bait and switch. Follow them failing to call the dealer the care was right down the street but they wanted me to pay $300 more dollars to pick it up. They said they would not take care of it. And said we will find someone else. Which they have failed to do. I have spoke to someone every day and they just fail to complete the request. I planned to have my vehicle in three days and we are going deep into week two and will be three weeks to just get a car delivered that already had been paid for transportation. The forbes article claiming they are great is total fake.

They quoted a price and on day of pick up they jumped it over $ 600.00 . Don’t answer their phones half the time . Unreliable and dishonest. No honor !!

After getting quoted a great price, Nexus paired me with a great driver who transported my car safely, quickly, and professionally!

I booked Nexus Transport after evaluating their service on the internet - HORRIBLE CHOICE. They first confirmed my pickup date and time as I was leaving Florida for New York the next day. Not only did they not come on the date and time agreed upon but I had to leave my car on the driveway of the home I was renting fully packed so as to not miss my flight. It took five days to get my car delivered.On the way from south florida they picked up my car in Orlando and drove BACK to south florida based on my vehichle tracking app. Phone calls were not returned numerous times. For some reason they went thru the Bronx for two days for no apparent reason. The transport started on the big carrier but when the car was delivered it was delivered on a one car wooden carrier. Suspicious at best. When the car left Florida it gas tank was full. When car was delivered a quarter of a tank was used. After checking my app I verified that the car was used for 82 MILES. Why? They NEVER got permission from me to use the car. No excuse from the company. Upon delivery the car was filthy inside. Dirty floor mats, a bottle of water left in the car. Steering wheel had mud on it. Other problems too lengthy to put here. But this Nexus Auto Transport in my view are liars and horrible people. Just a TERRIBLE COMPANY. I would stay away from this company.

I could not be happier than I am with Nexus Auto Transport. After purchasing a classic vehicle I researched auto transporters and found that Nexus was a reliable favourite of many people, and one of the most competitive in pricing. Not only did Nexus quote me a very competitive price, they did so without sacrificing the excellent customer service that one would expect when having their vehicle transported. Nexus secured a transporter for me and clearly communicated with me throughout the entire process. My vehicle even arrived a day early. I could not be more pleased. Thanks to all the great employees at Nexus for making this experience memorable in the very best ways.

I booked my car transport almost 30 days in advance and they never assigned a driver. Their customer support just kept delaying and in the end I have up and ended up booking through another company. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

My car was picked up and delivered as promised. They communicated very well about the plan and any time I had a question they responded very quickly.

Avoid Nexus Auto Transport & Fastway Transport – Zero Communication, Broken Promises, No‑Show Carrier

I booked with Nexus Auto Transport on 5/11 after they quoted me $975 and told me they had a truck available for pickup on 5/12 for an expedited rate of $1,125. I agreed.
5/12 came and went with no pickup, no communication, and no updates.

I emailed and called multiple times with no response. When I finally reached someone on 5/13, they told me my order “wasn’t expedited,” which was completely false. Later that day they called back saying they had a truck available if I agreed to a higher price of $1,250. I agreed again just to get the vehicle moved.

Nexus then assigned Fastway Transport LLC with driver Celso Silva.
The driver never showed up, never responded to a single text or call, and Nexus never followed up with me despite promising to “contact the driver and call me back.” I waited all day — nothing. No pickup, no communication, no accountability.

At this point, I’ve wasted days, rearranged schedules, and dealt with constant misinformation. Nexus overpromised, upsold me twice, and delivered absolutely nothing. Fastway Transport was a complete no‑show with zero communication.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid Nexus Auto Transport and Fastway Transport. This was one of the most unprofessional transport experiences I’ve ever dealt with.

We moved across the country and Nexus transported our Mercedes G55 . They are very professional, and fairly reasonably priced. The driver they connected us with was reliable and communicated with us directly the entire time. We would definitely use them again!

I did a lot of research and reading reviews to figure out which company was reliable. Nexus was rated highly on both trustpilot and BBB, so I went with them. similar price to other companies that were much more annoying and seemed like scams/unreliable. they were very organized and responsive. driver was great and flexible. everything went as expected, no issues. would choose again

Nexus did a fantastic job with my car transport from Texas to Florida. Even though I had mentioned that there was no rush for the delivery. My car was picked up the next day. The driver was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, even providing GPS tracking. Customer service was top notch too, answering all my questions promptly.

Having never transported a car, I had no idea how it worked. I read up on it, contacted 3 companies, and went with Nexus. They were honest (very important to me) efficient, and as good as their word. Everything went as planned, the car got to Colorado without mishap, and it was definitely worth the money. I'd use them again. I was very happy with the service.

My experience with Nexus was utterly disastrous. I am moving across the country and gave them the last possible date my car could be picked up, though otherwise I was completely flexible. I called three times a day for the entire week leading up to the move, yet they failed to secure a driver. Each day, they assured me it would be picked up the following day, or promised to call me back, but they never did.

When my moving day arrived, they unbelievably suggested I leave my keys in the vehicle for a future pickup. If I hadn't been fortunate enough to have a coworker take my car in the interim, I would have been stranded. After a week of delays, they finally claimed they found a driver and then tried to charge me an extra $1,000 above my original quote!

I spent hours on the phone with customer support throughout the week; they were entirely useless and consistently jerked me around between associates without giving me any real assistance. The cherry on top of this horrific process was that when my car was finally delivered, it arrived at 1:00 AM on a Thursday night.

I would strongly advise against using Nexus for transporting a vehicle. Know that if anything goes wrong, they will completely abandon you!

Customers beware! Nexus takes zero responsibility for damage during transport and delivery. Scheduling was terrible, last minute charges of over $1000, and no one is paying for the cracked windshield. All they have done is ask me to sign a form stating Nexus is not responsible. Can’t believe these other good reviews!
