They do extremely professional work in car transportation. They picked up my car from my doorstep exactly on the day they promised. Everything was very straightforward. The driver was incredibly kind... See more

I had an amazing experience with Nexus…
I had an amazing experience with Nexus Auto transportation they transported my Slingshot from Dallas, Texas to Mississippi. It got there safe and sound swiftly and secure thanks guys five star stars.
No gimmicks or bait and switch prices
No gimmicks or bait and switch prices. Quick 5 day delivery clear across the country. Courteous driver. Don't waste your time going elsewhere. Easiest part of the move for my family was Nexus.
Still had to pay a bit more than quoted unfortunately, but the process was smooth and the car got to me at a reasonable time
I was a little bit bummed that the quote they offered me was raised by like $100, which I had to persuade them to do because I asked on the phone multiple times for confirmation that the quote price was what was going to be honored and they reassured me multiple times that it was. But outside of that, communication was clear, they gave me the driver information as well. And unlike RoadRunner Auto Transport and especially Long Wheels LLC, I didn't get scammed and have a mess on my hands with communication and things not being done. I would use Nexus Auto Transport again.
Nexus Auto Transport was the best…
Nexus Auto Transport was the best choice for shipping my 911 Targa from the dealer in Oregon to my home in California. Their price was by far the most competitive, and their service was excellent.
Disappointing Experience
Sales people guaranteed delivery on a certain date which was a condition of proceeding. Car was not delivered on the promised date - no bad weather, accident, extenuating circumstance, just didn’t deliver on the promised date. No communication that it would not be delivered on time, despite calling the company throughout the day asking for updates - none provided. Added costs AFTER picking up the vehicle so if I did not want to pay the additional amount, I would have had to uber over an hour to retrieve the vehicle they already picked up. No tracking device so no clue where car was at any time. Do not recommend.
excellent service!
excellent car, moving service! Unlike their competitors, they honor their quotes! Fast and efficient, my car beat my trip across the country!
Worst experience I ever had with a car shipping company
On April 20, 2026 I booked with Nexus Auto Transport (NAT) the shipment of tow cars (BMW and Toyota Tundra) from Hayward, CA to Jacksonville, FL. The pick-up window was May 28-29, and the quote for both cars was for $3,098. A couple of days I called to check on status of pick-up as I had not heard from NAT, they conformed everything was on track for the pick up during the agreed dates. May 28th came and I had no calls from NAT, so I call them early in the morning to check on status, the answer was they are working on finding a driver but they will pickup within the agreed date. During May 28 and 29 I call NAT almost every 3 -4 hours and all I heard was the same story, we are working on it. Finally they never pickup the cars on the committed dates. After many calls and back and forth with NAT during the dates after , they finally ended up picking the cars on June 3rd, yes 4 -5 days after the original committed days. They also charge me $3,850, that's $752 over the original quote. At a given point they wanted me to pay over $ 4,000 for their mistake. I would never recommend anyone to use this Nexus Auto Transport. They not meet there timelines and do not honor their quotes.
Delays, Storage Fees, and Disappointing Service
I would not recommend Nexus Auto Transport based on my experience.
I hired Nexus Auto Transport to pick up a vehicle from the IAA branch in North Carolina. Before booking, I arranged to pay their 20% deposit upfront and the remaining balance directly to the driver upon delivery. Nexus confirmed the arrangement, accepted payment, and assured me that pickup was scheduled for the date I selected.
To avoid any issues, I contacted them two days before the pickup date so there would be enough time to make arrangements if anything changed. I was told that a driver had been assigned, was on the way, and I was even given an estimated delivery date.
When the delivery date arrived, I called for an update only to discover that the vehicle had not even been picked up yet. I was then told it would be delivered the next day and was given a specific delivery time. I adjusted my schedule and waited the entire day. When I called again around the promised delivery time, I was suddenly told that delivery would happen on Monday or Tuesday.
At that point it was already Friday, and the IAA yard would be closed over the weekend. Because Nexus failed to pick up the vehicle as promised, I became responsible for additional storage fees. I was charged $50 and expected to incur further charges over the weekend. Despite the inconvenience and extra costs caused by their failure to perform as agreed, the only solution offered was a $50 discount.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I had previously referred Nexus Auto Transport to a friend. In his case, they initially quoted approximately $640, scheduled the pickup, and then contacted him after the pickup deadline had passed to increase the quote to over $1,000. When he attempted to cancel because the new price was unreasonable, he was informed that the 20% deposit would not be refunded. As a result, he lost his deposit and had to arrange transportation through IAA instead.
My experience and my friend’s experience both involved missed commitments, poor communication, unexpected costs, and financial losses. Customers rely on transport companies to honor their schedules and pricing commitments, especially when storage fees and deadlines are involved. Unfortunately, Nexus Auto Transport failed to do so in both cases.
I have screenshots and records of the pickup arrangements, the delivery estimates, and the subsequent rescheduling. I also have documentation related to the additional storage charges that resulted from these delays. If Nexus disputes any part of this review, I am prepared to provide the relevant evidence and details to support my account of what occurred.
Nexus is a broker that arranges…
Nexus is a broker that arranges transportation services with independent vehicle carriers. I would like to point out that they only collect the initial payment and then provide little to no support once they assign a driver to transport your vehicle.
We arranged for a vehicle to be transported from Santa Barbara, California, to Windermere, Florida. When the driver came to pick up the car, he was discourteous and made my daughter walk for more than 30 minutes to meet him and hand over the vehicle for transport.
The vehicle arrived in Florida after five days. When the driver called me, I was at work and unable to answer immediately. He then became very rude and threatened to leave the vehicle in a storage facility. Shortly afterward, I spoke with him and arranged the delivery. However, instead of delivering the car to the agreed location, he stopped approximately two miles away. As a result, I had to walk about 20 minutes because I had no one available to drive me to the pickup location.
My advice to anyone considering this service is to make it very clear, before hiring the company, that the vehicle should be picked up as close as possible to the specified location and delivered as close as possible to the agreed destination. This can help avoid the inconvenience and frustration that my family experienced
We have used Nexus twice
We have used Nexus twice, so I'll share both experiences.
The first time was shipping my son's car from Idaho to Illinois. Everything went perfectly. The car was picked up and delivered on time, and the process was smooth from start to finish.
Our most recent experience was the polar opposite.
I understand Nexus is a broker and can only control so much. However, when quoting pickup dates and timelines, there needs to be a realistic expectation set upfront.
I called on 5/26 to schedule a pickup and delivery. Initially, it sounded like same-day pickup might even be an option. Ultimately, we agreed on a pickup date of 5/28 so my son would have time to prepare and pack his vehicle.
Once that date was agreed upon, things quickly went sideways. The vehicle wasn't picked up until 6/8—11 days after the promised pickup date—and wasn't delivered until 6/11.
To be fair, I understand that delays happen and I want to be reasonable. I will also say that Nexus always answered the phone and genuinely seemed to do their best to help manage the situation. That's why I'm giving them an average 3-star review instead of something lower.
The biggest issue was the carrier they dispatched the job to. In our case, the transport was assigned to a company called Diesel Auto Express, and from that point on we were completely at their mercy. We received daily excuses ranging from a family emergency, to a truck breakdown in Colorado while waiting for a part, to various other delays. It was never a straight answer—just a constant "in limbo" situation.
Two days before the vehicle was actually picked up, I called Nexus for an update. They told me they had spoken with the driver and that the car was already on the truck heading back. They even gave me the driver's cell phone number. When I called him directly, he informed me that he had mistakenly told Nexus about the wrong vehicle and that my son's car was not on the truck at all.
Once the vehicle was finally picked up, the estimated delivery date continued to move. Every day it became "tomorrow." When you're trying to coordinate schedules on both the pickup and delivery ends, that becomes extremely frustrating and stressful.
As a result of the delays, our son missed a critical window to use his car for a planned drive to California, and we ended up having to buy him a plane ticket, creating additional unexpected expenses.
Overall, I think Nexus is a good company that tries to help its customers. The challenge is that they are ultimately dependent on the transport companies they contract with. That's where they run the risk of having unhappy customers.
My advice is simple: before your vehicle is assigned, find out which transportation company will actually be hauling it and read their reviews. If there are major concerns, push Nexus to find an alternative carrier. It could save you a lot of stress, uncertainty, and frustration.
Worst. Shipment. Ever.
Honestly, I don’t even want to give them a one star at this point. My car was about a month late and I was up charged $200 because I couldn’t find a carrier in time which is quite literally the only job they had. They cannot complete this timely or for the original quoted price that they gave me. They don’t deserve the one star and they don’t deserve anyone’s money. This might be the shittiest of shits for car shippings. My windshield also cracked and there were so many bugs in my car after. Thanks for nothing!!! Next time I will rent a car.
Nexus was so easy from start to finish
Nexus was so easy from start to finish. The first process was on the internet with immediate quotation and selection. Followed up timely with phone call transport options. The driver was personable, responsive and capable. He delivered the vehicle within the parameters specified in the contract. I will definitely use Nexus again and highly recommended their service.
Great Auto Transport Company
I’m a returning customer with Nexus Auto Transport. First time I shipped my full size 2024 GMC Sierra SLT from a dealership in Alabama to my home in Southern California. The process was simple and straight forward. I called them over the phone and booked the delivery. Last week I purchased a 2024 GMC Canyon from a dealership in Iowa and booked the delivery directly thru the website. I had it delivered to my home in Southern California. Each time I booked, the process was simple and got the best rate possible as I checked other sites to confirm. The vehicles were delivered on time and the drivers were very professional. I definitely recommend Nexus Auto Transport for all your vehicle delivery needs!
I found Nexus Auto Transport to be…
I found Nexus Auto Transport to be great to work with. Very efficient and very reasonable pricing. Would definitely use their service again
Unreliable service
Nexus had 5 days to find a driver, truck and open transport trailer to pick up a vehicle from Savannah Georgia and deliver it to west Texas. Not only did they not find a driver, but didn't bother to call and tell me. I only found out because I called them and asked them why my vehicle had not been picked up. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I do not recommend Nexus. I did find a company that cost a little extra for a promissory pick up date. However, this is still an inconvenience to my time I had planned the vehicle to be at the drop off destination.
We've Paid in Full and They havent Delivered
We paid to have our vehicle tranported in a closed container from TX to NY. They were supposed to pick up last week and it was supposed to be here today. They never picked up and instead called my husband today and tried to charge him $500.00 more. These people are very unprofessional and I would avoid them. They still havent found a transporter. Weve paid 2K already.
Highly recommend this transport…
Highly recommend this transport company! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The pickup and delivery were both on time, and the driver was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
Our vehicle arrived without any issues and exactly as expected. We are very happy with the service and would definitely use them again in the future.
Thank you for making the process so easy!
Nexus sucks
I had an absolutely horrible experience with Nexus. I booked my pickup more than a month in advance and they still weren’t able to dispatch a carrier for my car on time. My pickup ended up being 4 days past the pickup date and the final price I paid was $700 more than the original price that they confirmed would be the final one that I would pay. I eventually got my car to the final destination, but the hassle and price I paid was not worth the trouble and I wish I went with a different auto transportation service.
Was very easy
Was very easy. Communication throughout the process with on time pickup and delivery. Driver was very professional and capable.
