Great cable. Easy to fit it yourself with a bit of care, obviously that may depend on your model of car,but on my Yaris it was a simple job. My only minor criticism is like many others the length of the cable,5m is way to long. I do wish Nextbase had options to choose the length of cable you wanted.
No problem with obd hardwire.However had problems with front/rear dashcams. Intermittent operating on rear cam screen.Fault warning on sd (supplied by nextbase 32gb). Screen freeze on front camera. Had to format sd on few occasions,and reset button on main unit. App connection is very hit and miss 😟

Very easy way to hard wire this camera, great product, very pleased with it, what's not to like.
Made fitting my wifes cam a breeze. and she now has parking protection

Good price and easy to fit
A bit of effort running cables but if you have the patience this product works a treat. It allowed me to free up the cigarette lighter, replace it with usb supplies and now I can leave the dashcam running and charge my phone at the same time.
Easy alternative to hard wiring. Although still have to thread it through headlining, etc. Could do with capacitator? being pre installed.
Pity this has not been available before. Previous versions required often acrobatic positioning to access the fuse panels then discovering the fuse carrier was non-standard.

I would suggest attaching the wire to the OBD plug in the center of the plug and not at the end or making the wire more flexible as it hits against the trim around the OBD socket making it hard to fit in the socket without modifying the trim around the plug..
It's a waste of money. After half an hour, the camera stops recording. It gets red hot. I got a USB phone charger from Amazon and used a USB mini to USB standard power cable, which works fine. £5:00 cheaper than this useless thing!

Product made installation much easier than old hard wire kit. But as wire comes from side if you have a shallow recess around the obd might not fit
